- Story Of Draupadi From Mahabharat
Draupadi is one of the most important female characters in the Hindu epic, Mahabharata. She is often referred as Draupadi meaning the daughter of Drupada, Krishna meaning the one who is dark complexioned, Panchali meaning the one from the land of Panchala, Yajnaseni meaning the one born from the sacred fire sacrifice. These are just a few of the names used to refer to Draupadi in the Mahabharata. Draupadi is considered as one of the Panch-Kanyas or Five Virgins. To know details about the five Panchakanyas, watch the videos linked in the comments below. Draupadi is the daughter of Drupada, King of Panchala. According to the epic Mahābhārata, the Bareilly region of today was the Panchala kingdom, thousands of years ago. It was the birthplace of Draupadi, thus the name 'Panchali'. Drona, the teacher of the Pandavas and Kauravas, with the help of his students, defeated King Drupada of Panchala and subsequently took half his kingdom. To gain revenge on Drona, Drupada performed a yajña called Putrakameshti yajna to obtain a means of besting him. From the sacrificial fire, Draupadi emerged as a beautiful dark-skinned young woman after her sibling Dhrishtadyumna. When she emerged from the fire, a heavenly voice said that she would bring about the destruction of the Kuru line. Draupadi is described in the Mahabharata as a very beautiful woman of that time.Drupada intended to wed his daughter to Arjuna. Upon hearing of the Pandavas' supposed death at Varanavata, also popularly known as the Lakshgraha or the wax house built by Duryodhana, Drupada sets up a Swayamvara for Draupadi to choose her husband.

Thank You For Using The Original Art Like Your Previous Videos :)
She had five husband and even Shri Krisna, God himself, was ok with such arrangement !! Nice moral....
Finally you have read the original Veda vyasa Mahabharata and have made the video
Draupadi is goddess. Just like Sita!
Very good one. Yudishtr prooved himself NOT loving Drawpathi by loosing her in the dice game after loosing himself and leaving Drawpathi alone after death. Drawpathi struggled in her whole life because of Pandavs
Well to be fair gambling addiction makes people do bad things
Poor Draupadi, much maligned and persecuted. Even Yudhishthira failed in his duties towards her. Only Bheema and Arjuna really cared for her and helped protect and revenge her honour and dignity. Draupadi is a paragon of virtue.
9:02 According to Mahabharata by BORI, Draupadi did not laugh at Duryodhana when he fell in the water. It was a lie, which Duryodhana told to his father Dhritarashtra
Thank you for sharing this amazing part of the Veda Vyasa/ Mahabharata
Wait if she was dark skinned then why people cast light skinned actress to play as her in dramas
Majority of indian gods are described as dark to be honest
Beginning of story few minutes... authentic
Dear team, request you to make a video on MãrkanDêya Maharshi😇🙏

An emerging civilization based upon morals and values
Ended up
Jai Shree RadhaKrishna Ki Jai, Jai Hanumanji and Jai Shree Ganeshji Thank you for Everything!
🙏
Wow fascinating 👏
someone just read the palace of illusions🙊
Karn only ordered to remove the upper garments not the whole dress....
Because at that time no any das/dasi were not given right to wear garments irrespective of gender
Kiddo Draupadi was just wearing a. Single garment she wasn’t wearing any other garments she was on her periods and so she wore a single garment it’s funny how hard you try to justify karna
@@TypicalIndian1981 Seriously, they don't even use their common-sense. The way they justify Karna is just ridiculous!
Shame on you justifying the desrobing of Draupadi and you have Lord Hanumanji's picture as your DP?? SHAMEE
Hanumanji is a brahmachari and you're ravana according to your thinking
@@TypicalIndian1981 No at that time Karna ordered Dushshan to take away the upper garments of both Panchali and 5 Pandavas.
So according to this logic Vastra haran was also done with the Pandavas. But actually it was not
@@ritikaritu2181 There are many temples dedicated to Danveer Karn and also Swami Vivekananda, and Adi Guru Shankaracharya praised the valour of Surya Putra
no wonder i was attaching to these story omg
First
Nice
