I like to play the Bridge circuit as well in sim games. But now, trying to go flat out through Maggots and Becketts is tense as well. It's possible to go flat out, but the room for error is slim.
@@PeterKKraus Maybe he was just trying to say they were 'real' and used improper punctuation. "Those drivers were real, man." Like a hippie or something. But most likely just a spelling error. Can't expect much from someone who thinks masculinity is tied to how fast you drive your car.
As a Ferrari fan I'll always remember Mansell for his win in Hungary '89 where he went from P12 to win, and for that incredible overtake he did on Berger in '90 at the scary Peraltada corner in the Mexican GP.
huge balls and tremendously skilled, great for the fans and never ran anybody off the road either, with a little bit less bad luck and support from the French sponsors of the Williams team, he could have been a 4 time Champion...
Mansell actually ran Senna out of the road at Estoril 1989. And he was already blackflagged since 3 laps before when this happened. Mansell was banned from the next race in Spain for that.
OP is totally correct. It only takes a tiny tweak of luck and 86 and 87 are his. He utterly dominated 87 when his car didn't fail and Piquet was getting preferential treatment too. Then the practice injury in Japan too... Piquet was at best 4th best driver that year but I would say 5th as Berger was great too added to Nigel, Prost and Senna. 91 is a bit more of a stretch but with early season reliability probably Mansells too. Why he is not rated among the very best confuses me.
If you think those were the times when you had Mansell, Senna, Prost and Piquet racing on the track....And we can add Keke Rosberg, Niki Lauda in 84 and 85...Also we had Berger, Patrese, Alboreto and many more really fast drivers with a decent car on their hands. And now we see something wich is hard to call F1 quite frankly.
Spot on for the lovely chap Mr.Mansell... Do not know about you guys, but i love it. Funny grill if I could sum it up. And to repeat one of below opinions: only legend could get 11/10!
for everyone complaining on missing mustache i remind you that flexible aerodynamic elements are banned
Tell that to David Coulthard's chin
@@jonahm3121 it's rigid and it produces most of the downforce so no
Tell that to RBR now
The moustache is too fast for him nowadays.
🤣🤣🤣
He just got 10 out of 10. what a legend.
Would’ve got 11 if he still had the stash
He was in f1 for 18 years so I know how he knows everything but your right the best driver by a mile
WHERE IS THE MUSTACHE NOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Minus 1 point for lack of mustache haha
The moustache was either for aerodynamic purposes or weight distribution, he's not racing anymore so no need xD
I laughed so hard at this. xD
You made my day.
He was born with that mustache and now it's gone... R. I. P. Legendary Mustache
HE BOSSED IT!
are you talking about his life or this trivia quiz? :)
probably both
ravindra Bastari tip of the hat for you, my friend

Sadly, Nigel today was better than Felipe. :)
Nigel is Faster than you
At least, his championship lasted way more than 30 seconds this time
Actually they didn't count his in the standings so Felipe is still winning
Can you confirm?
Mansell seems a really nice and humble guy.
He always was - check his interviews when he was racing. A drama queen too but almost always decent and humble. A true legend of F1

Where is the moustache...?
Omg I just noticed that
He's not had a 'tache for years. Keep up with the times. :D
with piquet
He shoved it up his arse mate
He had it at Mexico last year.
"the biggest thing that makes it special is the fans who are booing Rosberg for no reason"
GREAT PERSON
LIVING LEGEND
THANK YOU!!!
SOURCE OF INFINITE INSPIRATION
LEGEND!. Great to see him here. Thanks F1 😊.
Favorite F1 driver of all time. Deserved to be champion many more times. Made me a fan of F1 and Honda, Ferrari and Williams.
I love this guy. Probably the fiercest driver in F1 history. And certainly the most crazy and fearless!
2:25 who is that bloke chucking away his tea in the background!
Haha good spot
What a legend.
10/10 and his thoughts on Bridge were classic Mansell 🇬🇧 🦁

Now I know why Seb choose number 5 and why Mansell is so proud that Seb now use that number. They are both a walking encyclopaedia a true F1 nerd
That was really impressive.
Watching Mansell race was always great. But when he raced in England, you knew it would be sensational, like 1986 and 87.
Damn!! He can answer every question... What a Legend
Wow! This champion knows his Silverstone facts!
87, 91 & 92
I was there for all of them Nige.
God bless ya mate ❤️️
His voice is the absolutely same as the old years. Incredible
What a great driver he was and great guy he is!
Mansell continues to crush F1!
What a legend, such a nice person aswell
He´s soo nice. Great person, amazing driver.

would love to see Michael grill the grid.. get well soon legend #keepfightingmichael
Mika Häkkinen next! ;)
I sometimes wish he'd still continue to race nowadays. I just love him!
And that's why Mansell Mania is irresistible! ❤️🙌🏻🏁

His moustache got removed, like the old Bridge Corner.
But 10/10, spot on.
This guy is an absolute legend
Number 5 always humble and genius driver
11/10 then for good old Nige.
That's when you realise how much more important the numbers become when you stop racing.
was fortunate to be at Silverstone in 87, what a race, best one I've attended
That's what I expected from the legend
"Where is the moustache" you ask?
In McLaren headquarters, along with Mika Hakkinen K's and James Hunt's original chockstrap.
They do in fact have the best fans
One of the bravest racers!
How I miss Nigel! Golden Era of F1: Mansell, Piquet, Senna and Prost.
Extremely toxic though
Schumacher too kinda

What a legendary driver!!
mansell, senna, prost.
kings of f1.
Nigel Mansell is unrecognizable without the moustache. He could walk right past in an F1 paddock and the new guys would be totally unaware
He is one of the best f1 drivers !
How did this man look older 20 years ago

Great old Sir Nigel Mansell
Bridge was the best corner in Silverstone can't believe they got rid of it.
