It's the little things you pick up watching stuff like this - such as cutting the cake vertically instead of horizontally, seems like a way easier thing to do in the field.
We were originally going to bake two cakes in smaller tins and cut them in half horizontally. But we figured that it would be far easier at camp just to cut it vertically👌🏼 Let us know how you go if you give the cake a try!
After we did the pavlova, we thought it was time to give a regular cake a crack! We were up at Hawks nest, camped at Stuart and Lloyd’s campground. A really nice little spot. Thanks for sticking around and watching, I’m aiming to try and start making videos more regularly. Life kinda got in the way over the last year 😅

@@BakedInMyCar yeah I will be, got given a heart shaped tin for 10 year anniversary, fits the oven perfectly, so i'll give it a shot in next few days.
