Thanks a lot for watching and safe journeys!
Who could ever get tired of seeing the Himalayas? I know I don't! And the villages, temples, the people of India--add to the charm. It's unique, like no place on Earth. Gabe, you could go 100 times and it would never be boring. It's so colorful and alive--always interesting!
I know what you mean about India, I've been 10 times to India. It certainly gets in your soul. You also get a lot more bang for your buck in India in every possible way. India definitely feels like a second home to me.
Hi Gabriel, I just want to say that I will NEVER get tired of seeing more of India. I agree with you that it is the most interesting, fascinating exciting place in the world. How could anyone get tired of seeing more of this beautiful, unusual country? I'm so happy you are back in the Himalayas and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're going to take that bus journey you mentioned. Thank you a million times for bringing this most mystical, spiritual country to us. And I'm SO HAPPY you're having such beautiful weather. So excited for what's to come. Thank you for bringing what I think is the most beautiful place in the world to us. Loving every minute of this journey. Stay safe. And warm.
Which ever country he may be traveling, Mr Grabriel always has time and generosity for road side singers. They are invariably awesome musicians
Bhagsu has a special place in my heart. I spent 2 1/2 months there in 1996 & then came back the next year for 3 1/2 months. It's the only time in my travels when I stayed in one place so long I got to see the changing of the season. I was 26/27 and my whole life was focused on travel. Have so many nice memories of my time there. Met so many lovely people, it was just before the Internet so people seemed to talk more, socialise more. It's crazy seeing Bhagsu now. I guess I sound old, but there were only a couple of shops in Bhagsu then, if you wanted shops, banks, restaurants, you had to walk to McleodGanj which I did every few days. It was a very special time in my life, I was never so free in my life as when I was there. So many days and evenings sitting around with people from all around the world, singing, playing guitar, smoking and laughing.
What wonderful memories of carefree youth in a fascinating place like that part of India. A lot of people, particularly young people, don't realize that one is young and carefree for such a short time.
@@chaisepomme4070 Yeah, I guess it is short for most people, it doesn't have to be short, look at Gabriel, but for me after around 10 years in which travel was my main reason for living, I eventually felt like I needed something else in my life.
Damn you're making me feel nostalgic about something I haven't actually experienced!
You mentioned that some viewers would not be excited that you are back in India, but I am thrilled as I am fascinated by the history and the culture. I also love the fact that you are so knowledgeable about the country and really enjoy your running commentary as you explore all the incredible locations that India has to offer and also give us glimpses into your past adventures. Really looking forward to what I hope are many, many videos!
Really looking forward to you doing the trek again, hope the skies are clear and the views are amazing 👍
Just completed watching your videos of Peru, truly awesome. Loved every bit of it...safe travels Chris & Carol...😊
“The Himalayas are calling.” ~ Beautiful and Magical. ❤️
parts of Kashmir and Ladakh illegally occupied by Pakistan. most youtubers visit Pakistan go to gilgit baltistan which is India's land illegally occupied by Pakistan and say this is Pakistan. the same People come to India and straight away go to most awful old delhi which is full of illegal immigrants that most Indians do not go to and say this is India. you are one of the few youtubers who show India in positive way 👍
We will take back our land soon . Kashmir is India , so is Akshai Chin and Gilgit Baltistan
@@EternalBlaze10no benchod, it won't happen, sorry benchod.
They visit the poorest and most populous state of india because it has the Taj Mahal and some historical buildings.
Gabriel said it in one sentence “there is no where like India”, I agree I’ve visited 6 times for a month or so each time, always new places and it’s fabulous.
Brother, Gabriel , you are travelling a lot and true a explorer. I do watch your video. Stay safe and healthy. God bless be always with you.
was there in 95/96.. a magical time.. a pilgrimmage back is needed! thanks Gabe
This video is absolutely enchanting! Your deep connection to this place beautifully reflects your sincere love for its beauty. You wholeheartedly resonate with the soul of India. 🏞️❤️🇮🇳
This was such a nostalgic moment for me, i visited this region in the winter of 2017, and it was just gorgeous. watching this vlog brings back so many memories.
I'll be visiting India for the first time ever in a month from now... thanks for the appetizer, brother. 🙏🕉
Love this small town of Himalaya.
"going back home as you know what to expect"... yet always surprised with what you get! 👍
So glad you are back in India and that too in my home province. It's almost therapeutic for me to watch it while being away from home in Canada .I was hooked to your last series and looked forward to new episodes. You have traveled more India than most Indians and a traveller that is open to diverse experiences. Wishing you blissful and safe travels in the Himalayas.
I hope you get to go back home soon! I traveled to India in 2018, and I will never forget my experiences there.
@@christinelamb1167 Thank you.
McLeod Ganj, I visited this place almost 2 years ago and the song he is singing is from my State Rajasthan. I heard it after so long. Thank you Gab for these memories. I am feeling Nostalgic. You are a gem. 😊
It delights me that you are so delighted to be there. I'm imagining that the general vibe is as cool as any individual element you experience there. I'm just a little jealous. I'm not in the least bit disappointed that you're back in India.
Such a pleasure to see you in northern India again 😎 was there 22 yrs ago in 2001 & have fond memories of the place 🤓 love this part of India & I can see you are enjoying yourself immensely 👍🏻 have an amazing time Gabe , safe travels dude ✌🏼
India ancient Temples are the most amazing ones in the world.
I disagree. Rural Protestant churches in New England are the most majestic temples in the world.
the sky at sunrise and sunset is the most amazing temple in the world.
No, any Christian temple is best.
@@M-gq1bqyes thats true too
Gabriel, when you are in the south please visit Kodaikanal and take us around my old convent boarding school - Presentation Convent. Now closed but the buildings are still there. The road up the hill is hair raising with hairpin bends and steep drops.
Himalayas are calling...this is a very deep gabe..I have been following you for almost 7-8 years...and now I understand a lit bit of your mindset .....welcome back home man...
Love these Himalaya videos. Please visit everywhere there!
So relaxing, India is Gabriel,s heart.❤ So looking forward to this adventure.😊
11:28 on the right there is a pool where you can swim for free 🙂
India is a huge country, it is an interesting and amazing country, India is a moving machine, the economy of India is really very important in the world with a population of one and a half billion.
You're great filmer, Mr Gabriel, and a great walker. Covering lots of places. I like the presentation with maps. Thank you for the pictures.
I have started following you mainly because the India and Nepal travels. I love to travel there too. Keep on going there and recording them.
Excited that you returned to India.
The domestic tourism in McLeod has grown exponentially since my last visit in 2008!! All those huge hotels at the base of Bahgsu were not there. Literally there was one medium sized hotel back then! I was there for Dhiwali and it was nuts!! Happy Travels
If all you did was explore India, I'd watch every video. I hope to spend much time there in the future but, until then, these videos are the next best thing! 🙂🕉🙏
Never tired of the Himalayas and you portrayed it so well. Love your vlogs Gabriel
yes...youre back!
Keep doing what you do. Don't let anyone tell you different.
We're all welcome to start our own channel and try to show a better way.
Just loving this visit already, just great that you're back in India !🙏
If some of your viewers are not excited about your back to India, I am. Your knowledge helps me to learn and enjoy the videos. Have a good time.
What a great video from our man on the road Gabriel. 🙏
Yes Gabriel now I see why India is one of your all time favorite places to visit...
👍hello Gabe 😊your travels are gorgeous❤
I’m not bored😊. Like so many others loving these videos of yours. Have a nice time
I'll never tire of your India adventures. That restaurant at the end looked super chill and cozy.
Truly love all your videos.
Now that you in India, know its going to be awesome again.
Your last trip to India, i still remember your trip to Hampi and Chitradurga...you made a lasting impression...safe travels Gabriel.
Wonderfully done! Love the music! 😊
Enjoying India! Thanks for posting so often; helps curtail the travel bug 😁
Damn, 2 in one day. Thanks bro.❤❤
Gabe - Its amazing that you are able to produce so many videos; thanks. Curious though whether the amount of videos ever feels like a burden to you? You are certainly not obligated to film and post everyday; I am not aware of anyone else that posts so frequently.
But we love it.❤
We ❤it
Hey Gabe! I just got in & it's really nice to see some more of the Himalayas too. Thx 🌲😎🌲
Just got in to India?
Just Philly really. 😂
Honestly I watch your videos for your travel insight, keep it up!
Not long finished part I then surprise, part II showed up haha. Watched both back to back. Gorgeous scenery on the hike to the waterfall. I really hope you get to do your journey from Menali to Leh. So far the weather is looking good there, so hopefully it will be on your side when the time comes. It will be wonderful to capture on camera. Take care and cheers! 🍷❤️
Another wonderful video produced & shared by Gabriel Traveler & how fortunate you are, to have had the blessed opportunity to visit India so many times! So many wonderful years, visits & memories to cherish forever.
I've travelled the world far & wide, on/off since I was young & I have to say, that this global region is absolutely stunning & IMPO, is the world's most scenically stunning, colourful & exciting region, hands down!
The mountains, many of the worlds highest, are so majestic & so incredible to see & the 1st time I saw the Himalayas in person, it left me absolutely speechless & the entire image is eternally etched within my memory.
I absolutely love India & the entire Himalayan region, especially this region & I don't know, who could ever tire of such a gorgeous & special part of this world.
The natural scenery & of course the wonderfully friendly, hospitable, gentle, beautiful & special peoples of this global region, are what really makes it so very unique, special & memorable.
Seeing the way of life here did something to me. It changed the way I saw myself & it changed my life's outlook & the way I saw the world & the people in it.
Each visit to this region is precious, special & always leaves imprints within my mind & heart.
This video brought back special memories of my time there & reminded me, that I've visited since I was a child & I'm now in my 40s & I sometimes think to myself, gosh, where did the many years go?!
This is really enjoyable viewing, that I've watched it numerous times already.
Thanks for sharing such beauty with the world & here's wishing you Gabriel, many more years of enjoyable travels.
Peace✌
Awesome!! Thanks for the videos... here in McLeod ganj also. Missed u by a day maybe in Green Restaurant 🇮🇳
You gotta do the Leh to Manali bus journey!! I've done it twice. It is spectacular and epic, and terrifying, and arduous, and unforgettable!
Apparently they've built a tunnel through the mountain so it's probably less terrifying and also less epic. Somebody else posted a comment saying that they've closed the route for the season to non-locals, so I might not be able to do it now, which would be a shame. But I still plan to go to Manali, so I'll investigate once I get there.
That epic journey details are in this Vid link below:

You gotta do Spiti man. It’s a shame that such a gem of a place is hidden from you
india had some serious musician and artist as we perceived from this video ,good to see you back on india's adventure have a great time ahead
I actually discovered your channel researching places in India, and most of the videos I’ve watched so far are from there. India has a pull on me too, keep going back. I could live there permanently. Thank you for introducing me to yet another amazing place. I wonder if Dharamkot would be ideal base for the summer months?
I also posted a video of Dharamkot: th-cam.com/video/Tc44w8gm9hA/w-d-xo.html It would be a great place to stay for a while, the only problem is it gets hit hard by the monsoon and gets a lot of rain during monsoon season, which starts in the summer.
So nice to let US see the music and give them money💖
India is, one after another mind blowing experience.
Great to see you back, I hope you will visit Goa again.
Hi Gabe wow a second video..........well as usual it will be amazing
It's
amazing what
SLEEP can do! 🥳
A two for one Gabe special today! He sure works hard !!
What a beautiful place you have shown through your camera. Again I thank you.
Love your India vlogs man, love it love it
Cool. 👍
Wish I was there, thank you for bringing me there with you, so beautiful 💖
Amazing, you are doing exactly the hikes and places i dis a ouple of years ago! The Bus tour from Manali to Leh is mindblowing! Really reccomend it❤
Hello! I first started watching your videos before I went to Nepal and then to Tibet. I stayed at the Zen Bed and Breakfast. The people and place are amazing. I really enjoyed the videos of Georgia made me want to go. The funny thing is this place is my next travel stop. Hopefully in the spring.
The couple looked Rajsthani, singing "Welcome to our country".
Hi Gabriel Happy Diwali from Liverpool, UK. I have been thoroughly enjoying this series of visiting Himalayas. You make me want to go back and explore my own country!!! Thank you for awesome videos 🤩
i remember a rocky path on top of the waterfall which takes you to Shiva Cafe..! Awesome place...
You’re always welcome in India, gabE ❤ I am watching your video after busy day in London. Can👍🏽
Loved it, Gabe! I will never tire of your videos of India. It is such a diverse country, the landscapes, people, and culture are so different depending on where you go. Endlessly fascinating!
Hi Gabe: Nice video. The scenery is simply stunning. I was surprised to see a Husky there near the waterfall but I guess the cooler temperatures in that area are suitable for huskies.
You'll see huskies in every major city of India, not too many, but people love to keep them as pets.
I wish we could nominate you for some national treasure prize...😊
Whenever I travel in India...my hope is maybe I'll bump into Gabriel...
Must say Gab,this is really turning into a great journey .Know what you mean about a feeling of home in certain places;Romania ;Poland and Ukraine plus Crimea have that pull for me..Have a great trip buddy
That's probably how he gets the monetization to make enough to travel like this since if you notice he isn't getting massive views in the hundreds of thousands or millions like Harald Baldr gets, he usually takes a month off every year or so I've noticed.
Always enjoy the India walk abouts.
PERFECT
Another place to add to the visit list! Thank you! 😎🤟
Have you traveled anywhere?
yes lol of places!???

Gabriel I'm glad you are back in India would like to go there one day. Hope you do go to the Himalayas adventure so I can do the same one day, Would you please show more of the prices of your trip in India thanks.
some of the most beautiful places are Zanskar Valley, Nubra Valley, Khardung La Pass, Pangong Lake(Pangong Tso).
Hello Gabriel
Welcome to India
Awesome beautiful place.
That's why Indians love you and keep coming back because your videos are truly unique and one of a kind because of the genuine vicarious experience one gets a good idea
I've been following you from that time it would be great to go back to lehdak it's an epic trip I want to do someday
Having first been to Bagasu in 2005 I couldn’t believe how much that small village of like 5 guesthouses had grown by 2018, I can’t even imagine it now. Head further up the hill, that old hippy spirit was still there, you just needed to keep going up1
Rekindled memories of our visit…changed quite a bit in the last few years the pathway to Bhagsu waterfalls…I remember scrambling up and managing to sit atop the big rock under the falls…but one has to be very careful during the rains …
Ohh yes I loved the Rajasthani folk singer …their music is so soul stirring …thank you for being kind to them
Really looking forward to these videos !
Cool.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Thanks for everything you do for us!
Excellent music ❤
Shiva Cafe is worthy of a Vlog. BOM!
Fabulous singer in the restaurant where you ended your video
❤🇮🇳I never tire of India, it's 'the' travelling experience, it's so vast and different in each State...
I first went in '89 before the US influence, only one Wimpy in Delhi the rest was pure India which includes British India.
Gabe, I think Himalayas are your spiritual home and calling. I am sure you feel that as well. This is the reason why you keep coming back!!!
Gabe understands Eastern philosophy and spiritualism
Hi Gabe, thank you for sharing. chaos
Really appreciate you for using correct map of 🇮🇳
ICC World Cup cricket matches are going on in India now. There is a match in Dharmsala on the 28th between Australia & New Zealand.
When I found out where you were, I actually cheered out loud! I was in Dharamsala in 1996 and I hope you will spend some time there too. I don't recognize anything from McLeodganj. The road to the little village of Daramkot(?) had no cars at the time. It was just a trail with few people on it, just some monks. I sat in front of the Dalai Lama's palace every day for a while and one of the monks would come out from the library and practice his English with me. I stayed at the Hotel Tibet where Richard Gere used to stay, but I think he probably had a nicer room haha! I also taught English to the monks along with many other people from Australia and New Zealand. I had a dream about the school where we taught them English before I left. OMG what a magical experience that was. Thanks for reminding me of such a special place and time. xo
I was there in 1996 too for a few months
Very cool. 👍
@@matthewmorris7510 What months were you there? Wouldn't it be funny if we had met? I was there in August and September. I'm from Canada.
21:02 there is a tough 5 hour trail to Triund Hill.
Do the journey, and also make a video telling the extended version of the story please
Nah I love your Indian videos. Especially the Himalayas. Who could get tired of that. I am planning on Leh next year, so hopefully you make it on this trip.
