Parmigiano Reggiano (the original one) contains ZERO lactose and galactose, so you can eat it with no worries. But be careful, market is flooded with imitations. Ricotta does have lactose though
Even I had cut my parmigiana or pecorino into small chunks & put them into my food processor to take the strain of grating it. Saves some time for me too.
