The first time I ate fresh basil, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. I’ve also tried a couple of our o Pasta Queen’s recipes, and they are just so uncomplicated, yet amazing - just like you are! 😄

Best question asked- what's the life span of someone eating this? There's a Huge difference in quality of food in USA and Europe. Many things banned in EU are still ok in US.

I am from the US, in 2009 I did a culinary internship in Acqualagna, PU during 'stagione del tartufo'. I am so jealous of how Italians eat, but am grateful that I know good Italian cuisine. The worst thing with cooking any food with onions I see on the internet is adding onions after other ingredients or even ground beef! Then when it's still white and uncooked they add other stuff I would never eat that food!

-Although my dad’s spouse did do something disgusting! She couldn’t find fresh asparagus and decided to get frozen, which, no thanks. But for some reason she decided to boil the heck out of the already cooked vegetable for like 10 min until the stuff was mush! My eyes widen, my eyebrows went up in disbelief and thinking to myself I’m not touching that! Thank goodness my father threw out the wasted frozen now mush asparagus. His spouse meant well but man oh man, why!!!??? We were lucky to grow up with decent fresh food. My mom learned to cook decent Italian food because my grandmother (my dad’s Italian mom) showed her when we were little. She also makes some great rice and beans!
