I think it's bs that Ford is cutting maintenance things like this out just to save themselves a few pennies per unit. It makes maintenance more complex, messier and potentially more expensive for the tech/owner but hey, it's not their problem. When I bought my f150, I basically had to spend an extra $600 buying the aftermarket parts just to make it a little easier to maintain.
This is exactly what I would like to add to my truck. But let's say I need to add the fluid if level is low or I am changing fluid and drained the pan. Can I add the fluid with funnel through your stainless steel braided hose like it was done when cars were equipped with OEM tubes.
Yes, you can top-off your transmission fluid through the B&M Locking Transmission Dipstick. When doing so please follow the factory procedure for checking fluid level. Add transmission fluid as needed but be sure to be patient and give plenty of time for all of the fluid to make it down into the pan before a secondary top-off. When changing the fluid we recommend to use the fill port on the trans pan and then top-off at the dipstick port as needed. I imagine this would work on an expedition of the same years that you list for F150s. Any way B&M can confirm this? You would probably sell more if you listed them for the Expeditions, too. I'd probably by one if I knew it would work.
