Man your intro is spot-on. I feel exactly the same way about most MMOs these days, and I hate to admit that the last game that really held my attention was WoW. I guess I’m just old. Maybe I’ll jump back in.
The only MMO I enjoyed was Metin 2 in its peak. But sitting in a game and writing to actual people in the game was something in the past, holy cow. I think social media destroyed the MMO genre partially.

Hey @thelazypeon, just so you know there is a skill that allows you to automatically transform back into your visage form for Dracthyr, you should have received it when you gained your visage ability. You also don't have to be in dragon mode to use a good chunk of your spells and abilities, so you can remain in visage for most of the time, and even when you have to transform during combat, you'll switch right back after you leave combat.
Hey bro! Preach released a video yesterday about WoW. He went to Blizz HQ for a few days and talked to many people, Ion included. And Ion stated that they are entering WoW's 3rd phase and focus on improving systems already in the game and making new ones that won't die with each expansion. I heard a lot of good things in this video. I'm back to WoW too, but also enjoying GW2. As someone that doesn't have much time to play, that game is the best option to me.
Watched it as it premiered, was a great video that explained a lot about the design decisions of the past few years, hopefully it's heading in a better direction now
It’s the start of a new expansion, how fr they gonna make it alt friendly while still making it an actual game. Yes you gotta grind stuff out and kinda focus on your main and build your other characters once your capped. It doesn’t take long to get capped in wow in any kind of content you do then you do it on your alt

What I do love about the new talent system is that yes most will just search up the most optimum talent build, however there is many optimum builds for different situations which I love.
I cobbled together my own Shadow build that heavily relied on direct damage. I got multiple messages from other priests asking about my spec. Turns out all they did was google "what the best spec was for shadow." Sometimes googling the most optimized build is not always going to lead to good results, especially early in an expansion.
The funny thing is that for a lot of specs that answer doesn't exist for every encounter. The answer will change depending on group comp, encounter size, add type, and your own gear. They've got balance a lot closer than players either realize or are giving them credit for and I hope it doesn't lead to complaints about there being too many choices

Project Ascension offers Ironman along with a few other challenge modes all set in classic WoW, I highly recommend trying it. Totally free to play and zero pay to win.
Hey Peon, loved that WoW section! I did a similar thing for Dragonflight, taking notes of each class I could main. I can recommend it to anyone struggling to choose. I can't wait for legendaries and soulbinds to be gone and welcome dragonriding into my life

My main for DF is Preservation Evoker and our of all the healers it definitely has the most unique and interesting kit, but it would definitely not be ping friendly. Though as a side note for you on Dracthyr you can stay in Human form. Its an option in your spellbook. Hopefully with the dev team saying they want to switch things up using the talents going forward maybe we will see more of the unique things from Evoker become options in other classes.

Loving all the fresh content! I share a lot of the same sentiments, I played each expac less and less but am excited for DF to be alt friendly. Feels like returning home after testing out every other mmo out there. Real excited for more wow content from you but I’ll watch any game you cover
Pretty much the exact situation I was in. Got tired of WoW, tried other MMOs and got into a few others, but none of them really resonated with me like WoW did. Resubbed for the Dragonflight prepatch and it feels pretty good to be back. We'll see how long it lasts though. I hope it's as good as it seems on the surface. Really like the profession changes and can't wait to try them out when DF launches. And as someone who also likes casters and healers, Evoker is pretty fun. Liking the healing spec, Preservation, quite a bit. Kind of reminds me of MoP/WoD era Mistweaver (which was the best healing spec ever designed, change my mind!) with a bit of a modern twist. Anyway, welcome back Peon. I gotta say, you and some other content creators also coming back also makes returning to the game myself feel a bit better. If you're still interested, definitely try Priest out. I also never thought I'd enjoy it because of the aesthetic but it's actually a pretty fun class.
For sure give priest a try; there's a glyph that makes shadowform less shadowy. For healing, both holy and disc play very different if you get bored of the other.
I have loved watching your content for several years now. But not long enough to see your regular WoW content. THIS has made me very happy :) I wondered if you were going to try Dragonflight and I am glad you are. I hope it ends up being to your liking as far as regular content. I feel like I must have followed you some long time ago (I've been through multiple accounts though) due to WoW, and it's funny how taken aback I was by you uploading a WoW video, lol. I live right next to where the server is hosted on so I'll have a smooth 20 ping going into this xpac as an Evoker, instead of a Shammy for the first time since MoP.
paladin healing was so much fun when you had that spec that just meant stick one heal on everyone and then spam that heal all around so it didnt drop off. cant remember what it was called but it was so much fun and totally different way of healing.

Mage might feel bad because you're missing the extra talent points from not being level 70 At least level 60 BM hunter feels awful compared to level 70 on the beta Cheers have fun !
BM feels about the same as it's been for the last 3 expansions, plus not having AotW actually seems like a good thing. And it does pretty crazy damage these days.
I thought I wouldn't go back to retail after having the classic servers come out, but I am really enjoying the quality of life improvements again. I just really wanted to see the talent tree, but then fell in love with it all over again. Shamans are pretty nice.
I also really wish evoker could just not be a dragon during combat. You CAN as Preservation stay in your visage (human/elf) form most of the time, as long as you don't cast certain abilities, and there is a toggle racial ability that makes it so when you leave combat you automatically take your visage form. But, honestly I'd rather just not be a derpy scaley. Which is unfortunate because from a gameplay perspective I really like Preservation.
I would say this, all the classes are very fun to play and there is no weird system that people are upset about, i.e. shadowland covenants, BFA azerite. I also like the profession revamp that seems like a 4th pillar of play and something to workout on outside of PVE instanced content.
For FF14 I actually don't pay attention to the story at all since im watching Netflix or something. Still enjoy the world and smelling the flowers however. Worth playing even without the story iml
Hey, Peon. I saw that you enjoyed the new evoker but dislike being a scaly. Luckily you can make it so you fight in human form, have the human transmogs etc. And only be a dragon for when you do flying abilities. I hope you find this useful!
I had similar feelings to you about OSRS, I got stuck in a rut doing the "most efficient" thing to earn gold because I could just do that and buy everything else without touching the other content, sure I could go do all those different things, but why would I when I can earn it faster with Vorkath? I quickly burnt out of the game after that. I was always a little bit resistant to ironman but let me tell you playing ironman completely reinvigorated my love for the game, having to truly earn everything yourself every step of the way is just so unbelievably satisfying and it makes you fully experience so much more of the game than you would ever on a main.
Hey bro if you just boost one character in FF 14 to endgame and get the story skips, you can unlock a place called Palace of The Dead which will allow you to level any class from level 1 up very quickly in an endless tower sort of dungeon with other players. Then when your classes get to level 16 you can run the usual dungeons which will be unlocked from boosting your main class. That's the best way to play if you don't care about story and just want to level and do dungeons / raids.
I stopped in the last season of SL and didnt plan to come back but the changes they made are really nice, DF sounds like the best of all xpacs combined so i give them another chance.

Hi. Watched that video, and now I see why i suck at WOW. Ive played, mainly, 2 classes, frost mage and shadow priest, for years, and i still have to look down at keyboard while casting or shamefully, clicking on the icons to cast, and try to remember "does that stun" cos if it does I can cast a channel spell, "oh crap it didnt stun" etc. How you can talk about so many classes in WOW showing such a knowledge, not to mention chatting about all the other games, im just blown away and if there are many players like yourself it explains why i have never had a good arena rating!!! So ironically, watching that video, has informed me not to go back to WOW, but just want to issue respect to you for reason above
You nailed it on all the usual suspects. Just playing Bannerlord now and maybe drop into GW2 when I feel like some pvp or gathering and crafting a new set of armor. Last time I bought WoW, I got bored within the first hour (Shadowlands) and quit.

I Initially (obviously) found your channel when you were still a budding warcraft creator. I very much understand the idea of playing each expac less and less since Legion, since i've been doing the very same, barely playing the full month of sub i buy during SL. I genuinely haven't been this keen to play a WoW expac since the announcement for Wod and it's cool to see you in the same boat. Here's hoping that this time (for sure) that WoW finally puts its best foot forward and we can enjoy the game like back in MoP!
Unpopular opinion: You don't have to read EVERYTHING in FFXIV. Especially once you're out of AAR. I think the devs are quite aware that some people just straight up refuse to read most of the text dumps, so they do a pretty good job of keeping you in the loop and up to date in the story via the voice acted cut scenes.
This is why I love your channel: you're a true MMO sage. You freaking nailed, to the point of taking the words out of my mind, the comparation between ESO and GW2: ESO is a lesser GW2 in every single aspect.
The problem with boosting FFXIV is that the dungeons while leveling teach you how mechanics work at a slower pace and the visual language the game uses so that when you hit endgame, you aren't overwhelmed. If you are going to give FFXIV another go and you don't actually care about the story at all, than skipping it is the best method. If you're skipping cutscenes and dialogue, the MSQ doesn't actually take that long to complete outside of the dungeons and raids required to progress. I know most FFXIV players hate skippers, but honestly if you simply have no interest than why not? It'll also save you some cash in the process. This is coming from someone who thinks all of the value in the game comes from the story and characters by the way. I don't enjoy high end raiding, but I understand others are more gameplay focused and less story focused and that's fine.
c'mon you can see how he is playing, most likely badly just like his wow classic videos. instead of leveling one class to have faster progress on other he is showing gameplay on low lvl red mage, so ingoring 20-30 level of progress of his main job.

TBH, i love FF14 and WoW. I'm glad you gave FF14 a fair shake. If you want to boost, that's okay, you can always visit the story in new game +, and enjoy the story over time. I'm just glad you're open to other games that opened your eyes to what WoW lacks for that $15 sub they demand, but give so little in return. Hopefully by many players experiencing this, they know what to ask for in WoW to make it better.

I might be biased, because I’ve pretty much played every wow expac, but dragon flight is going to be an expansion for everyone. It’s very casual with no systems whatsoever besides revamped talents and cool new profession revamps. I’ve been playing beta for a while, and most specs are top right now. It feels pretty balanced with the exception of a couple specs and it’s VERY alt friendly. Almost all progress and rewards go to your whole account, which helps alot. This expac feels like a mix of MOP and Wrath of the lich king with its open world content and general adventure aspects. Very happy to see you returning to wow. Very excited for the release in two days ❤️
I got up to mid endwalker and was done. I love the dungeons, animations, and jobs. But I don't care for an MMORPG where it's major emphasis is the story

Hey Peon. Just a thing about FFXIV. I got into 14 during Endwalker, just skipped the entire story cause I also couldn't bear with it AT ALL(and I LOVE other FF's). Skipped the story, boosted to almost max lvl. Played the last part which they force you to. And god I enjoyed it SO SO MUCH man. Diehard FFXIV fans will gatekeep a lot, but god just play how you want. I put over 800h into FFXIV despite skipping the entire story. Just playing the content I enjoy. And that's the key right, do what you enjoy in games. If you think you will never play FFXIV due to the massive story. It's way better to just skip it, and try all of the content the game offers to see how you like that. In my opinion the game is so beautifully made, and despite me not playing it at the moment. I can only try to spread the message to just skip what you don't like. Try the endgame and all of those raids, trials, dungeons which are BEAUTIFUL. Don't get gatekeep by people with 5k hours forcing you into a certain way to play just to make you not play at all
FF XIV is boring as F, i made it all the way through Heavensward as a Warrior and the combat is trash so i switched to Dark Knight and it was a little better but still just cycling through cooldowns instead of engaging in actual combat, feels bad to play no matter how you cut it
So, i wanted to point out two things that might change your concerns with Evoker: 1. In the options you can change the 'hold and release' function of your empowered abilities to 'press and tap', so you only have to press the skill once and tap it again whenever you want to release it, it makes a huuuuuuuuuge difference in the gameplay, also is way less clunky and much better for high latency 2. Evoker has a abilitie called 'Chosen Identity' that you can turn on/off whenever you want, and while active you automatically assume your Visage Form when you leave combat or after Soaring, so you can actually spend most your time out of the dragon form. Yes, during combat you still a dragon but this abilitie makes a big difference if you dont like the Dracthyr form that much
I'm doing Preservation healer now and man it's really bloody fun, it's reactive, you can direct heal, and HoT, so you can DPS quite well meanwhile as well. So that's what I'll be maining for sure.
I did love my carpentry back when eq2 started I had a house and people would come to see what I crafted and buy them off me. Shame it was never kept up date in the same way as wow graphically etc
My top list in Shaman and then second is Druid. Reverse of you. I will be going in on Dragonflight for sure. I liked playing the game as a gold farmer and crafter. So, with all the additions they have made with the crafting system, I think this will be the most fun for somebody that doesn't like being part of a guild. Also seems WAY more rewarding for more of a "crafting" play style.
@@jag764 The man's washed up, he hasn't raided (himself) since Nyalotha and never was a spectacular player. And before you bring in "but Echo players struggled" same thing really, 3 of them weren't even Echo players. Doesn't help that they went in blind, without a lot of prior experience and took a break every few weeks due to MDI, basically resetting prog. The fight still doesn't hold a candle to KJ or Uu'nat. I do admit that it's on the level of Sepulcher bosses but no shot it's the hardest.
I've tried them all and always go back to Demonology Warlock and Enh Sham. All specs on both classes I enjoy but those two make the game really fun for me.
WoW has gotten so woke and hamfisted with pushing fetish material into their quests and storytelling to the point that it has become overt propaganda. Worse yet is that with their recent cinematics and all it's like they're going after kids. NO THANKS.
So nostalgic, and so much I do not understand stopping mid cataclysm. And no I quit wow and haven't looked back. Atm I am having a break from NW and enjoying the Janky Darktide pre-order beta

Hey Peon, loved that WoW section! I did a similar thing for Dragonflight, taking notes of each class I could main. I can recommend it to anyone struggling to choose. I can't wait for legendaries and soulbinds to be gone and welcome dragonriding into my life

DF made me come back, hopefully it keeps getting better going forward.
My main for DF is Preservation Evoker and our of all the healers it definitely has the most unique and interesting kit, but it would definitely not be ping friendly. Though as a side note for you on Dracthyr you can stay in Human form. Its an option in your spellbook. Hopefully with the dev team saying they want to switch things up using the talents going forward maybe we will see more of the unique things from Evoker become options in other classes.

I share a lot of the same sentiments, I played each expac less and less but am excited for DF to be alt friendly. Feels like returning home after testing out every other mmo out there. Real excited for more wow content from you but I’ll watch any game you cover
Pretty much the exact situation I was in. Got tired of WoW, tried other MMOs and got into a few others, but none of them really resonated with me like WoW did. Resubbed for the Dragonflight prepatch and it feels pretty good to be back. We'll see how long it lasts though. I hope it's as good as it seems on the surface. Really like the profession changes and can't wait to try them out when DF launches. And as someone who also likes casters and healers, Evoker is pretty fun. Liking the healing spec, Preservation, quite a bit. Kind of reminds me of MoP/WoD era Mistweaver (which was the best healing spec ever designed, change my mind!) with a bit of a modern twist.
Anyway, welcome back Peon. I gotta say, you and some other content creators also coming back also makes returning to the game myself feel a bit better. If you're still interested, definitely try Priest out. I also never thought I'd enjoy it because of the aesthetic but it's actually a pretty fun class.
For sure give priest a try; there's a glyph that makes shadowform less shadowy. For healing, both holy and disc play very different if you get bored of the other.
I have loved watching your content for several years now. But not long enough to see your regular WoW content. THIS has made me very happy :) I wondered if you were going to try Dragonflight and I am glad you are. I hope it ends up being to your liking as far as regular content. You are quite entertaining and it will be nice to see the entertainment on a game that I play.
I dont know about the healing specs but shadow priest is really fun and good right now, should definitely try it
I feel like I must have followed you some long time ago (I've been through multiple accounts though) due to WoW, and it's funny how taken aback I was by you uploading a WoW video, lol. I live right next to where the server is hosted on so I'll have a smooth 20 ping going into this xpac as an Evoker, instead of a Shammy for the first time since MoP.
paladin healing was so much fun when you had that spec that just meant stick one heal on everyone and then spam that heal all around so it didnt drop off. cant remember what it was called but it was so much fun and totally different way of healing.
Glimmer of light I think. It’s still an ability on the paladin tree but it won’t keep everyone up by itself
I'm one of those people that chose a main ages ago and I'll always be her forever and ever (priest!), but I love your attention to detail and pros and cons list!
Can back for Dragonflght due had lots of fun in classic, first wanted to go back to resto druid, but all the stance swapping to do more damage in off time isnt for me. so trying Holy/disc Priest for the first time ever.
Tried Holy/Disc/Shadow after the recording of this video and priest is a solid top 3 for me now, all specs feel good

BM feels about the same as it's been for the last 3 expansions, plus not having AotW actually seems like a good thing. And it does pretty crazy damage these days.

I thought I wouldn't go back to retail after having the classic servers come out, but I am really enjoying the quality of life improvements again. I just really wanted to see the talent tree, but then fell in love with it all over again. Shamans are pretty nice.
Loving Shaman now. Definitely a good expansion to go Shaman, given them themes, armor styles etc.

I also really wish evoker could just not be a dragon during combat. You CAN as Preservation stay in your visage (human/elf) form most of the time, as long as you don't cast certain abilities, and there is a toggle racial ability that makes it so when you leave combat you automatically take your visage form. But, honestly I'd rather just not be a derpy scaley. Which is unfortunate because from a gameplay perspective I really like Preservation.
I won't be returning, but I'll be happy to watch your videos on the subject!
I would say this, all the classes are very fun to play and there is no weird system that people are upset about, i.e. shadowland covenants, BFA azerite. I also like the profession revamp that seems like a 4th pillar of play and something to workout on outside of PVE instanced content.
For FF14 I actually don't pay attention to the story at all since im watching Netflix or something. Still enjoy the world and smelling the flowers however. Worth playing even without the story iml

Hey, Peon. I saw that you enjoyed the new evoker but dislike being a scaly. Luckily you can make it so you fight in human form, have the human transmogs etc. And only be a dragon for when you do flying abilities. I hope you find this useful!

@@investoreyes1 You can't. As soon as you use any ability that isn't Living Flame you will go into dragon form.
I had similar feelings to you about OSRS, I got stuck in a rut doing the "most efficient" thing to earn gold because I could just do that and buy everything else without touching the other content, sure I could go do all those different things, but why would I when I can earn it faster with Vorkath? I quickly burnt out of the game after that. I was always a little bit resistant to ironman but let me tell you playing ironman completely reinvigorated my love for the game, having to truly earn everything yourself every step of the way is just so unbelievably satisfying and it makes you fully experience so much more of the game than you would ever on a main.
Hey bro if you just boost one character in FF 14 to endgame and get the story skips, you can unlock a place called Palace of The Dead which will allow you to level any class from level 1 up very quickly in an endless tower sort of dungeon with other players. Then when your classes get to level 16 you can run the usual dungeons which will be unlocked from boosting your main class. That's the best way to play if you don't care about story and just want to level and do dungeons / raids.

I stopped in the last season of SL and didnt plan to come back but the changes they made are really nice, DF sounds like the best of all xpacs combined so i give them another chance.

Hi. Watched that video, and now I see why i suck at WOW. Ive played, mainly, 2 classes, frost mage and shadow priest, for years, and i still have to look down at keyboard while casting or shamefully, clicking on the icons to cast, and try to remember "does that stun" cos if it does I can cast a channel spell, "oh crap it didnt stun" etc. How you can talk about so many classes in WOW showing such a knowledge, not to mention chatting about all the other games, im just blown away and if there are many players like yourself it explains why i have never had a good arena rating!!! So ironically, watching that video, has informed me not to go back to WOW, but just want to issue respect to you for reason above
You nailed it on all the usual suspects. Just playing Bannerlord now and maybe drop into GW2 when I feel like some pvp or gathering and crafting a new set of armor. Last time I bought WoW, I got bored within the first hour (Shadowlands) and quit.

Hey Peon, simple viewer frog here from when you were still making WoW machinima's and especially your "reasons to play warrior in 5,4 video" at the end of MoP. I Initially (obviously) found your channel when you were still a budding warcraft creator. I very much understand the idea of playing each expac less and less since Legion, since i've been doing the very same, barely playing the full month of sub i buy during SL. I genuinely haven't been this keen to play a WoW expac since the announcement for Wod and it's cool to see you in the same boat. Here's hoping that this time (for sure) that WoW finally puts its best foot forward and we can enjoy the game like back in MoP!
Unpopular opinion: You don't have to read EVERYTHING in FFXIV. Especially once you're out of AAR. I think the devs are quite aware that some people just straight up refuse to read most of the text dumps, so they do a pretty good job of keeping you in the loop and up to date in the story via the voice acted cut scenes.
This is why I love your channel: you're a true MMO sage. You freaking nailed, to the point of taking the words out of my mind, the comparation between ESO and GW2: ESO is a lesser GW2 in every single aspect.

The problem with boosting FFXIV is that the dungeons while leveling teach you how mechanics work at a slower pace and the visual language the game uses so that when you hit endgame, you aren't overwhelmed. If you are going to give FFXIV another go and you don't actually care about the story at all, than skipping it is the best method. If you're skipping cutscenes and dialogue, the MSQ doesn't actually take that long to complete outside of the dungeons and raids required to progress. I know most FFXIV players hate skippers, but honestly if you simply have no interest than why not? It'll also save you some cash in the process.
This is coming from someone who thinks all of the value in the game comes from the story and characters by the way. I don't enjoy high end raiding, but I understand others are more gameplay focused and less story focused and that's fine.
c'mon you can see how he is playing, most likely badly just like his wow classic videos. instead of leveling one class to have faster progress on other he is showing gameplay on low lvl red mage, so ingoring 20-30 level of progress of his main job.

TBH, i love FF14 and WoW. I'm glad you gave FF14 a fair shake. If you want to boost, that's okay, you can always visit the story in new game +, and enjoy the story over time. I'm just glad you're open to other games that opened your eyes to what WoW lacks for that $15 sub they demand, but give so little in return. Hopefully by many players experiencing this, they know what to ask for in WoW to make it better.

I don't mind people skipping the story in FF14, play how you want. But don't complain when you don't understand anything in terms of what's going on.
I might be biased, because I’ve pretty much played every wow expac, but dragon flight is going to be an expansion for everyone. It’s very casual with no systems whatsoever besides revamped talents and cool new profession revamps. I’ve been playing beta for a while, and most specs are top right now. It feels pretty balanced with the exception of a couple specs and it’s VERY alt friendly. Almost all progress and rewards go to your whole account, which helps alot. This expac feels like a mix of MOP and Wrath of the lich king with its open world content and general adventure aspects. Very happy to see you returning to wow. Very excited for the release in two days ❤️

I got up to mid endwalker and was done. I love the dungeons, animations, and jobs. But I don't care for an MMORPG where it's major emphasis is the story

Hey Peon. Just a thing about FFXIV. I got into 14 during Endwalker, just skipped the entire story cause I also couldn't bear with it AT ALL(and I LOVE other FF's).
Skipped the story, boosted to almost max lvl. Played the last part which they force you to. And god I enjoyed it SO SO MUCH man. Diehard FFXIV fans will gatekeep a lot, but god just play how you want. I put over 800h into FFXIV despite skipping the entire story. Just playing the content I enjoy. And that's the key right, do what you enjoy in games.
If you think you will never play FFXIV due to the massive story. It's way better to just skip it, and try all of the content the game offers to see how you like that.
In my opinion the game is so beautifully made, and despite me not playing it at the moment. I can only try to spread the message to just skip what you don't like. Try the endgame and all of those raids, trials, dungeons which are BEAUTIFUL. Don't get gatekeep by people with 5k hours forcing you into a certain way to play just to make you not play at all
FF XIV is boring as F, i made it all the way through Heavensward as a Warrior and the combat is trash so i switched to Dark Knight and it was a little better but still just cycling through cooldowns instead of engaging in actual combat, feels bad to play no matter how you cut it

I see it 100% like you, thats why i will give wow a sec. chance.
So, i wanted to point out two things that might change your concerns with Evoker:
1. In the options you can change the 'hold and release' function of your empowered abilities to 'press and tap', so you only have to press the skill once and tap it again whenever you want to release it, it makes a huuuuuuuuuge difference in the gameplay, also is way less clunky and much better for high latency
2. Evoker has a abilitie called 'Chosen Identity' that you can turn on/off whenever you want, and while active you automatically assume your Visage Form when you leave combat or after Soaring, so you can actually spend most your time out of the dragon form. Yes, during combat you still a dragon but this abilitie makes a big difference if you dont like the Dracthyr form that much

I'm doing Preservation healer now and man it's really bloody fun, it's reactive, you can direct heal, and HoT, so you can DPS quite well meanwhile as well. So that's what I'll be maining for sure.

My top list in Shaman and then second is Druid. Reverse of you. I will be going in on Dragonflight for sure. I liked playing the game as a gold farmer and crafter. So, with all the additions they have made with the crafting system, I think this will be the most fun for somebody that doesn't like being part of a guild. Also seems WAY more rewarding for more of a "crafting" play style.

@@jag764 The man's washed up, he hasn't raided (himself) since Nyalotha and never was a spectacular player. And before you bring in "but Echo players struggled" same thing really, 3 of them weren't even Echo players. Doesn't help that they went in blind, without a lot of prior experience and took a break every few weeks due to MDI, basically resetting prog.
The fight still doesn't hold a candle to KJ or Uu'nat. I do admit that it's on the level of Sepulcher bosses but no shot it's the hardest.
Honestly - one of my biggest issues was the ammount of addons I needed to have to make the UI playable - at least for me -
