The Readwalker Clan was elaborated on more in the Durotan book set in the movie's continuity. They were an orc clan that rejected Gul'dan's invitation to join the Horde as Draenor was dying. They got their new name as Red Walkers by painting themselves in the blood of their kills, leaving it to harden and cake on their bodies as an intimidation tactic. Eventually, the Red Walkers turned towards eating the Draenei and later fellow orcs to survive. It happened by accident, according to the chieftain of the Red Walkers. They happened to kill a traveling group of Draenei and started painting themselves in the draenei blood as they were used to. One orc got some blood in his mouth, and found it tasted good. When the world is coming to an end, meat is meat.
My take on the Blackrock's various skin color is basically due to their rolls, orcs like Eitrigg have grey skins because they live and work in their fortress, deep under the volcano to mine ores and craft weapons, while Saurfang and others like him still have green skin maybe because they spend more time fighting on the surface, and thus were less affected by the volcanic fume
I mean old Warcraft/Horde lore (most of these clans are from Warcraft 2) was basically just a bunch of metal-heads like Metzen, Samwise Didier and so on just making up the most metal shit they could think of. Hence stuff like an entire clan of warriors (the whole gladiators for imperialistic ogres wasn't invented until much later) literally *cutting off their hands* to replace them with blades. Totally useless, making the warrior less effective in every way assuming they didn't just die from sepsis, but METAL AS FUCK IT GOES IN THE GAME, BOYS!
Dude, i was got; at the end I was like “damn who is this mysterious clan he’s talking about, they sound sick” then he started to name the members lol..
The reason for Saurfang having green skin is because he took part in drinking Mannoroth's blood. Others still have their grey skin because they didn't take part. Garrosh being one of them.

They are not really considered as Orcs by the other Clans. Orcs as well as Ogres regard them with suspicion because they live a rather sheltered and remote life with only little contact to outsiders. I think Rexxar is actually one of the only ones who made contact with others outside of his clan before The Burning Crusade.
Imagine Blackhand, Gul'dan, or Ner'zhul trying to bolster the ranks of the Horde when an advisor suggests to recruit the Flowerpicker Clan. 'What are you insane!? We can't risk trying to talk with those savages!'
It's a shame people only remember the stories that exist in the WoD timeline, and people have forgotten the stories of the real clans in the main timeline. For example in our main timeline, on Azeroth, the Shattered Hand clan had nothing to do with Kargath or dismemberment.
Shattered hand was always founded and led by kargath. It says in the Warcraft 2 manual that he is their leader. And all the shattered hand orcs in outland in the burning crusade have their hands replaced with blades. So it was at least that early that they made the lore to be that all shattered hand clan members cut their hands off.
It is fun to see how they deleted Flower Picker clan from beta but then added them years later at orcish celebration questline (even if its just an easter egg - they do still exist, change my mind).
Have ever noticed how those big nosed money loving goblins only show loyalty to themselves and their kind while profiting from both sides of the conflict? really makes you think...

Beautifully done!
i got recomended the Asmongold react to this so might as well just watch the original.
Dude literally can't think of the White claw clan now with out being reminded of my wife and her basic friends drinking White claws
So basically...
Shattered Hand clan: BDSM Orcs.
i think kink clan settles better
This video helps me making my interactive TH-cam wow game more lore related
Despite only making up 13% of the races within World of Warcraft, Orcs commit over 50% of the dishonourable kills. Really makes you think...
Have ever noticed how those big nosed money loving goblins only show loyalty to themselves and their kind while profiting from both sides of the conflict? really makes you think...
@@edwardsallow8931 Are you saying that goblins represent Jews in WoW?
@@albinotangerine5556
Right.. Because getting slaughtered, imprisoned, tortured, and hated by the people that are supposed to be good guys is totally making a profit.
And finally claiming land that was promised to you, and then having all your neighbors bomb your cities because they want the land and hate your religion is really profitable too.
Get out of here you pathetic anti-semitist.
@@j.franklin21 Did you read the comment that I was replying to?

Yes
Did not expect that ended, haha, well done!

Jaina says their skin is grey from being inside Blackrock Mountain, but that -might- have just been her misunderstanding, and assuming based on the difference between them and the other Orc clans. 'Oh it must be because they live in the mountain', while in reality, they were grey to begin with, and the 'green' is just darker on some of them as a result. Bit of variability, y'know?
I also imagine the amount of fel power you consume changes things.

the orcs reaction had me dying lmao
