One of the biggest douchebags in my opinion is that guy who sits on vendors or quest givers in massive mounts that don't allow you to click on the npc.
Was once ganked by a guy 30 lvls higher than me, lucky for me, my max lvl friend was helping me and the ganker was owned so hard. Then, he camped him for hours.
+sonicblaster33 thats fine if the healer is ok with it. What makes the douchebags is when the healer cant handle it or is not ready. Tanks manage pace, but that also means the need to monitor if the group is ready.
#2, yeah. My wife and I were in a bad place back in Wrath so we decided to renew our vows in WoW. It was a great way for all our friends and family to come together without having to travel. Two guys with the traveler mammoths sat on our group the entire time. We relocated twice but they somehow found us both times. No screenshots for us :-/
I will never understand why people have this response. It was basically that or nothing and pretty much everyone we knew at the time already was playing WoW so.. why wouldn't we?
When I was level in BC, I was pretty new to the game. I didn't have the right stats, I didn't know how to play my hunter (yep, I was a huntard), and I didn't know how to level properly. I played on my dad's account since I was probably 7 or 8 at the time. I was leveling in Westfall, when this guy came up to me and requested a duel. I accepted and lost, though it was close. The guy then called me a noob and told me to quit the game. I was so upset that I didn't feel like doing anything, and started crying in real life. My friend, who I'm still friends with to this day, helped me out by telling me I'll get better. I guess what I'm really trying to get at is when someone is rude to a new player, they are definitely a huge douche, regardless of how "great" they are.
I think Runescape has far better quest design and is better at organically integrating story into gameplay, but I have to admit Runescape gets pretty grindy. You can't just play a quest series in Runescape. It's more like "cool, I just finished a quest! Now to get 7 more Herblore, 12 more Mining, and 20 more Firemaking before I can do the next part."
HeyyDivine The levelling itself slows down a lot, since seven more levels of a stat comes out to all the xp you've already earned. On the other hand, unlike WoW, you don't need to be maxed out to experience the majority of the content.
I'm 44 years old and have played Wow since launch (I'm a strict pvp'er). I'm a retired corrections officer (early retirement due to injuries) and play now more than ever since I'm home almost 24/7. It's funny because I spent 25 years of my life getting spit on, piss and shit thrown in my face, getting my ass kicked, and horrifically insulted and threatened on a daily basis. And YET I would come home after a long bad day and be confronted almost daily by much worse douchebaggery in WoW and suddenly have the urge to go back to prison where people had more respect for each other lol.
You know what's annoying? when I'm buying shit in the AH. and a whole raid kills the Auctioneers... fucking really? And what's also annoying is people who play overpowered classes at low lv like the feral druid or the disc priest. They get in your face when they win in a duel and say shit like "rekt" or "get good kid"... omg shit pisses me off.
Hahahahah number six is golden! I have a story about that, combined with number 9. So I was still leveling my main toon at the time, Tauren Hunter, and we had one of THOSE tanks that would constantly pull up the DPS stats and complain about the lowest DPSing instance member. So this guy was ragging on me for having only 2k dps when everyone else had around 6k, but 1. I was on the phone with my mom and 2. the tank wouldn't stop pulling when I asked for them to wait. So what do I do? Well, I make a new macro and test out my new "feign death" ability of course! Tank is battling a mob of enemies, so I run ahead a bit and click my macro. My instance groups sees me yell "I CAME IN LIKE A WREEEECKING BAAALL!!!" while pulling the boss towards them. The tank. Flips. His. Shit. And when I feigned death and watched them all die he was yelling at me (caps lock) while the rest of the group was laughing, then I said "Had enough fun?" and mass rezzed. It was so goddamn golden and I will never forget it. I may be the hunter that needs to hang back for awhile to do other things around the house, but if you piss me off, I will watch you die in vain with a troll face. FIN
I think a lot of times when hunters ninja pull, it is an accident because they just spam buttons and autotarget a new group of mobs. I used to do this when I was new.
my story is about number 7. i play a warlock so we are a walking summoning portal but even if its 40 members i send a summon to each one down the list. a guy near the end of the raid list was spamming my whispers saying " SUMMON!!! YOU LAZY LOCK ". i explained to him that im going down the list and to be patient. all of a sudden i hear this loud yelling in vent saying " F**** LAZY LOCK NEEDS TO BE KICKED! HES NOT DOING SH*T ! " instantly i was removed from the raid because the he was the raid leaders " mate irl ". this is why im a salty warlock when it comes to summons.
tottaly lost Sometimes I just put up the portal and walk away. Anyone can summon. Those people that are ALWAYS late are in that basket. "Make your own way here or plead with another raider to summon you"
I think number 9 isn't really a douchebag. When i'm healing in an instance I love when the tank charges through. Actually makes this game a bit challenging and gets things done quicker.
As a tank I like to give it 5 minutes so I can work out the skill level of my healer before doing huge pulls, It's fine most of the time but there's a lot of noob healers that don't like, I love healing big pulls myself too
Well, when I leveled up my brewmaster monk, I would pull massive groups and just kite when my guard was down :) doing massive dps but yeah at level 100 it's annoying when some tanks do not glance at the healers mana or hps.
Riseaky // 1.3k // On a break:) I am most of the time healer and i hate when someone rushes through. I am sorry as monk for ex. i have to stay to heal because at low lvls my heals is channeled! I can't run and heal. Plus i dont understand healers who heal tank only. Like i have other people who might be in danger because multiple reasons. And you just run through, taking all trash some dps try to run and hit ( following by cursing you mages) and healer who have to stop every 3 seconds to heal.

one of my horde characters , was in a guild that sometimes trolled, I heard in guild chat that they were gonna troll goldshire, instead of joining in I protected some noobs with my alliance character. Idk why
was a druid in my old guild did that a lot, really annoyed me, did it to a couple of guildies that i knew irl, including my (now ex) wife, i got him back for it though he was levelling an alt, wanted a run through wailing caverns, so, i said i'd do it, went in on my death knight, plowed through everything, killed the big elemental boss, jumped down the big drop behind him, and, as soon as i landed in the water, i hit path of frost this guy follows me, then, gets within range, path of frost kicks in, just before he hits the water, and he's got the run from crossroads to do, while i'm telling him in guild chat why i did it, and the rest of the guild taking the piss out of him
Agree 100% with the RP comment. I play on an RP server, because i like the atmosphere more, although i don't actively RP. All it takes is toggling run off now and again and not interfering with people talking to respect people's RP. It's not hard.
People want me to thoroughly look up tactics for raids beforehand? I get the potions part and holding up the party. But, like he said: I come home after work and want to play for a few hours. Why do I need to figure out the raid tactics if that's what the leader does? Gotta give some slack to newbies/casuals on that.
I've raided before without being a freak over the exact technical details for each boss, and have never been the one to slow down, wipe, or ruin a raid . I just don't think it's that big of a deal if I follow the raid, and check out the raid book as I go.

I'm a healer and damn good at it. I'm usually very chill because I know it is just a game, but what makes me rage is the fact no one listens to the healer. Like no one. If i need mana, nothing; if i need the tank to pull things off of me, nothing; if I tell the group what needs to be done, nothing. The healer is THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER, PROTECT HIM! LISTEN TO HIM! The healer sees ALL the mistakes everyone makes and knows how to prevent them, at least the good ones do.
I remember back when I started playing I joined a bg and someone said to type /afk so the game knows your not afk and ready to play... I sent him a whisper saying well played

Agreed with all of these. In my old guild if someone was too lazy to fly to a raid and wound up going ‘summon pls, when we were all in, he got kicked. Agreed with the impatient pulling thing. I play all roles and I can say for a fact that raids and dungeons will go better when the healer is accounted for. I’ve gone round and round with tanks who were too impatient to wait for healers to mana up before pulls, blaming me for their death when they couldn’t wait 3 seconds for me to drink up. These tanks also tend to think they are BA but they don’t do basic things like pulling mobs out of ground damage and use their blocking buffs :/
My favorite noob troll is in Elwynn Forest. Back in vanilla there was a quest to gather bundles of wood from under the trees, but the way the quest was worded it sounded like it was telling you to gather wood from the trees themselves. So there were a lot of noobs who would ask in General, "How do i gather wood from trees?" and I would always respond with, "You have to visit the Lumberjack trainer in Stormwind and learn the profession." :P

Tensa Zangetsu LFR probably won't help you at all, they're almost impossible to wipe on, you'll probably have to use it to gear up a bit though, try and get into a few normal mode raids to see how it goes, just make sure you know how to play your class first though :)

So, this is a new one for me... Last night in raid, as soon as we zoned in, the Raid Frames just went NUTS. The raid leader (I assume, or whomever had assist) reassigned everyone in the raid as tanks. And then pulled. The healers had no idea who to heal, tanks had no idea who to protect, and total chaos ensued. Of course, as soon as someone died, they released (appropriately, since it was just a trash pull) so the fight quickly moved to the entrance of the raid... wherein people kept releasing, and slaughtering the entirety of the raid. Total repair bill from this douchebag? 230g
In a random dungeon group with a bad tank who decides to blame you for wiping when it's clearly his fault, and now he's threatening to kick you from the group? Not a problem if you're a Rogue. I had this happen once. I stealthed up to the boss and dragged half the dungeon back to the group, then vanished. Make sure to say something snide before quitting the group. :) Go do something else for a while while your debuf wears off. Re-Queue. Even better. . . If you KNOW a tank is going to issue a vote-kick on you, just initiate a vote-kick on him first. . . hehehe I've tested this out several times, and I can tell you that people tend not to look at the name of the person being voted to be kicked - they just hit the accept button, and the jerk tank gets kicked. You almost always end up with a better tank for the rest of the run. . . And you can just picture the old tank nerd raging after realizing YOU vote-kicked him before HE could kick you. :) Fair is fair, and what comes around goes around.
OMG, I can totally relate to the "Impatient Tank" one. I mostly do healing in dungeons because dps ques are to long and to tank you have to know the dungeon. I have been stuck with MANY IT's and sucks! Thx for mentioning him/her in this video peon :)

Roleplay crashers are THE WORST, i am in a role-play guild and some guy just comes in with no clothes on and be pervs and the guild i am in is mostly girls, I HATE THEM, then some guy with a mammoth comes in and sits on us

I think it's awesome that you actually mention roleplaying in your videos since I don't really see it all that often when it comes to WoW videos. Equally awesome is the fact that the "RP Crasher" was so high on the list. I guess I've been particularly lucky in my experiences with WoW, as I've not come across many douchebags. My absolute, most frustrating type on this list has got to be the impatient tank, just because I detest people like that. They act like the only ones in the dungeon who matter and that can really sour a run. I would like to mention one type that didn't make the list; the "Experience Sponge". This is the guy who queues up and then goes AFK as soon as he zones in and puts someone on folllow. This is especially maddening when he queues up with one or more friends who then stop you from kicking him, making it so that your only real choices are to keep running the dungeon with someone who isn't contributing, or leave yourself and accept the consequences that come with that.
Dr. Mango That's Riggnaros, the guild leader of Blood Legion which has claimed a number of US firsts over the years. That clip was when he was "helping" a friend of his with a PuG group... And, yes, he's ex-military (marine, I think).
@@clamix178 multiboxers are worse as they often flag themself for pvp then go ahead and kill everything... as a force they're basically unstoppable. Maybe if you got 39 other players you can beat em.
As with regular players, multiboxers come in all shapes and sizes. Yes, there are those who do the things you say, and in my side of things, those who farm up insane quantities of materials and tank the prices, but there are many more of us who simply use multiboxing as a tool to allow us to carry out multiplayer content without having to rely on others.
A few things I used to do. 1 go to booty bay (when it was still a active place) on a pve server, look for two horde members dueling, flag myself for pvp, wait for one of them to cast a aoe spell, sit back and watch the guards pound them. 2 roll a druid, ask someone on the boat for a duel, throw them off the boat as it's leaving 3. jump on a max lvl toon, find a lowbie, cc them for as long as i could and /dance (but at least I wouldn't actually kill them)

most warlocks have 1000 stories about people begging for summons, just ask the next one you see. my personal favorite is when I join a group while still en route to the location and raid chat is suddenly nothing but 1's.
Newsflash: Horde do it too, and ally players swear the same kind of death oath and believe me there are more than enough people who can and will stomp you into the ground. Also, by now, most people just assume if you're attackable, you're going to attack so they're prepared for whatever you might try. You might want to keep that in mind, and maybe you won't be so angry and vengeful when you make a ganker fail. :)
Mitcellie sadly its true I play ally mostly for pve raiding but from time to time I do pvp on my pally. The rise in botters in bgs on ally side has increased alot. Blizz has yet to do anything about the situation and knowing their regulations on botting they should be stomping this shit into the ground.
***** I personally don't go after lowbies unless they're farming something I need, then it's just wrong place, wrong time. I find more entertainment in lowbie on lowbie ganking, because then gear isn't the issue, you're both pretty much even, it's all skill. I even prefer other lowbies _trying_ to gank me, tests how well I react to a disadvantage.
I hate to say it, but 90% of the Brazilian player base. Refered to as "jaja"s, these guys can't communicate with the rest of the group, pull for the tank, need on everything they can press need for, and act like complete douchebags normally wiping the group numerous times all because the rest of the group is not Brazillian.
TheAsylumchild The messed up part is that Blizz thought it was doing a benefit of good to help getting the que times down but all it has caused is headaches for us English players. I should not have to learn a new language in order to play this game. This is WoW not Rosetta Stone.
TheAsylumchild just pointing out that br players never type "jajajaja". that's spanish-speaking latino players, not brazilians (which speak portuguese). that said, i was yesterday chatting with a friend how 98% of the people i know who can't understand english are automatically intellectually inferior to people who can. understanding english opens a HUGE cultural and intellectual gate for an individual, and unfortunately most of us dont know and dont care about it.
BattousaiHBr I beg to differ, sir. That is why I have heard them referred to as "jaja" because that is normally the very first thing they type when you say "hey (class) stop pulling! You aren't the tank!" or "Hey mage why'd you roll Need on that plate?" It has actually nothing to do with language (I use Goggle Translator in really sticky situations. The translations may be crappy but at least someone can get the gist of what is being said). It has to do with simple prejudice against all players and games not Brazilian. I have played and even been an admin on several f2p/p2p games over the years and over 90% of the people acting like jerks (kill stealing, PKing, griefing, etc.) or those caught cheating (botting, dual boxing, etc.) were Brazilians. NOT ALL Brazilians are cheaters and jerks, but there are enough of them that act that way to make the rest of them guilty by default and that's sad.

I've hated those tanks that rush ahead since I've started playing WoW. I've recently begun healing on a regular basis, and I hate them eeeeven more. I didn't even think that was possible! Haha. Back in Cataclysm when Gilneas first came out, i played horde on Moonguard.. Me and a friend were level 60 twinking on a hunter and rogue (Me on hunter, him on rogue). We were the RP crashers that you put on the list. What we would do was go to the main hangout spot for low level alliance/level 58 deathknights being made in droves for RP and we would flag ourselves PvP. I would run and stand right in the middle of the group of people and look like I was afk. We would sit and wait for a few minutes until people would flag themselves to kill me, then we would just obliterate all of the flagged people. We did that for weeks and weeks getting honor and just having all around fun. It came to a stop once they started bringing in max level players who would kill us when we showed up.
This video reminds me when I was leveling in Shadowmoon Valley (Outlands) on my B-Elf Warrior. WoD had just started, and I wanted to level as quickly as possible, so I was grinding like crazy. I came across a neutral base for both Horde and Alliance, with two humans standing there. I gave them a simple wave and continued grinding. Turns out they were PMing their Level 100 Monk, and the next thing I knew I was being ganked, and corpse-camped by this asshole. Moral of this story? *_Most_* Alliance players are assholes.

#8: TRADE Chat, not asking stupid questions you could google or ask in general chat-chat. That should be painfully obvious to anyone able to read. You deserve being trolled for asking there, cluttering the chat meant for TRADING.
The Funny thing is, that on "trolling the noobs", that thing with "gaining more XP if you flag yourself for PvP", well, blizz will implement in the Battle for Azeroth :P
Lazy you forgot to mention how much blizz cracks down on people who interrupt RP sessions on RP servers. Which can result in suspensions and banning. Other then that, another great video =D
As someone who used to lead WOTLK 25 mans that weren't... the most coordinated groups, I can somewhat understand the raging raid leaders. It can get incredibly frustrating when you tell players to pay attention to whether or not they have gravity or light bomb debuffs on XT-002 Deconstructor, and yet they stay near the group when they should run away. This is just one example of many that have pissed me off.
i used to stand by the auction house in org back in the day and type" /e spits on you." a few time and "/e laughs at you" sat back, watched as angry whispers of people saying "fuck off", "do i know you? wtf is your problem". i was an undead rogue, people on my server used to warn people that i was toxic and a troll. ffs i miss that
#9. Had that guy in a group with my priest. Kept turning corners in Shadowfang Keep, line of sighting all my heals midcast, then convinced the group to vote kick me because I couldn't get a heal on the tank off for most of the dungeon, calling me 'garbage'. I confess I haven't healed since. The abuse just isn't worth it at all.
I stopped playing early Wotlk, but I started in TBC. While I was leveling there were some minor world bosses that required killing in Zangarmarsh for quests. If I found a player killing the spawn I wanted, I'd pull the nearby mobs, herd them over to his vicinity, and tap vanish. The mobs would aggro to him. Then, the boss + 6 new mobs would mow his ass down. Finally, I'd kill the boss after everything reset. This also works if you world pvp while leveling. That's the douchiest that I've ever gone though.
This video bring back so many memories, the impatient tank guys... the hunters pull barrages, is why I'd rather wait 10-15 min than deal with those people in pugs and randoms heroics
Number 3 also makes you famous too. Can't tell you how many times I've heard people reference videos of raid leads losing their shit on voice chat. Just ask the "More Dots" guy, or the "Left=Positive, Right=Negative" guy xD it may suck when first dealing with those people at those moments, but once it's caught on video and uploaded to the world, those meltdowns don't fade anytime soon
I just got back into WOW, and I am among new players fresh from the Warcraft movie. All of them are ninja pullers. Maybe they will find your channel informative.
Oh gosh, me and my friends were doing dungeon adventures by walking to every dungeon on foot/mount. And on one of our treks towards Uldaman we came across this alliance ganker who was 20 levels higher than us. Killed us all at least once but then we managed to take the sucker down as if it was a raid boss, coordinating our stuns and disorients to prevent him from striking us down. Send him running. But no, we didn't let that DB escape. We nailed him down on the spot and finished the job.
You missed the people who block your fishing bobber with their mammoth mount. It's among my favorite things to do in WoW. Might subscribe just to do it.
Well this isn't from WoW, but I play a healer in another game. When you talked about the tanks that won't wait for the healer or the rest of the group and just run through aggroing like 3-4 mobs. MY GOD! It's so darn annoying because he usually runs out before I've got my pet summoned and he's taking damage as he runs, and I can't insta cast to try to mitigate the damage because healing spells have cast times. Oh look! He's nearly dead when he finally stops. Oh look! 20 monsters are charging right at me now! We're all screwed. Thanks tank! You being in a rush to get through this place is taking it twice as long to get through now!
My friend has a theory that most trolls before trolling will go to there computer, fire up a joint and then say "LET'S DO SOME TROLL SHIT!!!" Then plays the Benny Hill chase music while trolling
I once accidently interupped an RP event. I had no clue what was going on. I felt so bad, apologized a couple of times, and logged off. Luckily, they didn't mind it, since I was fairly new to the game back then. (5 years ago) But till this day, I still feel really bad for it.

#6: Rogues can do that too, with Tricks of the Trade and Vanish. I've never seen one do it though. #9, Story Time: I was leveling my monk, and decided against my better judgement to use LFG. Ended up getting Dire Maul as a Tank. So I pop into the instance, but I'm in Windwalker, so I take a moment to switch to Brewmaster, which I hadn't used in ages, so I had to allocate a few talents and some of my abilities. I know, my fault for not preparing my specs beforehand, but that would have taken less than a minute. While I was preparing, the fucking PRIEST decided they wanted to pull the first three groups. I barely knew what any of my abilities did and the priest wanted to be the impatient tank. They then accused me of being a bot since I hadn't pulled anything myself in the first ten seconds of the instance. Also, they were not in Shadowform, which leads me to believe they were set as a healer (or at least trying to dps in Disc), but I'm pretty sure the only one they healed was themself. Thankfully the Ret(I think? Someone mentioned the off-heals) paly wasn't as big a douchebag and tried to at least keep me alive. Turns out low-level Brewmasters are kinda squishy, and I died a couple times, and had to use every defensive ability I could find to survive several trash pulls. And this is not the only time it's happened. For some reason when I'm NOT the tank, everyone's super chill except for the few times the tank is the one pulling so far ahead no one can keep up, but whenever I am the tank, one of the DPS has to be "That Guy" and then say how shitty of a tank I am. A few times playing druid, I just thought about switching to Feral just to let them do it. Sadly the healers always facilitate their behavior, so I can't just let them die and tell them to shove it. Also the guys who pull new groups before the current one is dead. If you're in that big of a hurry dude, why the hell did you even accept the dungeon invite? If you have somewhere else to be, why are you even here?
The issue with raids/dungeons is if you're casual trying to get gear using dungeon finder is that nobody is helpful and only talk to insult eachother...
Warlock main here.. number 7.... so much... If a warlock asks if you need a summon, say "yes" dont stay in your home town for 5 minutes and whisper me for another stone after ive summoned 20 something people, please. Ive told people to start walking.
My worst experience was having a someone queue as a healer and proceed to pull everything and melee the entire dungeon, healing only himself and letting the tank die.
A variety of number 8: People ask for directions and then call you shit because you know where it is and your trying to be nice and help.. >>; This happens alot to me on my server and it REALLY puts me off of helping people (especially when im watching people purposely give the wrong answer). Or the person asks for more then just directions (flying them, gold, guild invites, ect ect) to waste your time or call you a douche when you decline...
I remembering leveling a Orc Hunter during BC on the Frostwolf realm in Stranglethorn vale and being camped by two people for nearly three hours. I logged out and never went back to that character. His ghost is probably still at the graveyard lol.
I remember doing a raid with my hunter. The first boss got pulled before everyone was ready so some people got barred outside the zone and couldn't fight. Everyone blamed me for it, and I was one of the people who got locked out. I WASN'T EVEN IN RANGE TO HIT THE BOSS! First and last time I ever dealt with that.
A tank that takes off all their gear before entering a dungeon/raid. Grouping with people before entering, so when a vote goes to kick that person, it doesn't pass.
I once tanked a dungeon in a pug back in mop where after one wipe, the healer decided it was my fault and refused to heal me to prove their point. We consequently died straight away. They then blamed me again.
One experience I had about a couple of weeks ago, and this is why I’ve officially given up on pvp, was the last Eye of the Storm match I was in. So my team’s losing (I’m mainly an Alliance player, so you definitely know how bad it is these days), but only by a slight margin. So we manage to secure the middle so this demon hunter in our group could pick up and cap the flag, scoring us a possible winning advantage, but as soon as he gets to the one base we have, all he does is just stand there and dance. So we’re all just yelling at him to capture the flag, and he’s trolling us badly, playing it like he doesn’t understand what we’re saying, and then he starts getting attacked, and he simply runs away from the base and lets himself get killed, and thus he intentionally made us lose the match. Needless to say, we were all super pissed by the end of it
Agree with everything except for the PVP gankers. This was what made wow popular back then, world pvp interaction between the horde and the alliance. You get gank, you call your guild/friends for help, the ganker end up getting camp, they then call their guild/friends for help and it escalates into an all out pvp event. I've been on both side of ganking and I must admit that it was certainly a lot more entertaining then signing up for BG and Arena.
One of the biggest douchebags in my opinion is that guy who sits on vendors or quest givers in massive mounts that don't allow you to click on the npc.

When I was level in BC, I was pretty new to the game. I didn't have the right stats, I didn't know how to play my hunter (yep, I was a huntard), and I didn't know how to level properly. I played on my dad's account since I was probably 7 or 8 at the time. I was leveling in Westfall, when this guy came up to me and requested a duel. I accepted and lost, though it was close. The guy then called me a noob and told me to quit the game. I was so upset that I didn't feel like doing anything, and started crying in real life. My friend, who I'm still friends with to this day, helped me out by telling me I'll get better. I guess what I'm really trying to get at is when someone is rude to a new player, they are definitely a huge douche, regardless of how "great" they are.

I think Runescape has far better quest design and is better at organically integrating story into gameplay, but I have to admit Runescape gets pretty grindy. You can't just play a quest series in Runescape. It's more like "cool, I just finished a quest! Now to get 7 more Herblore, 12 more Mining, and 20 more Firemaking before I can do the next part."

HeyyDivine The levelling itself slows down a lot, since seven more levels of a stat comes out to all the xp you've already earned.

I'm 44 years old and have played Wow since launch (I'm a strict pvp'er). I'm a retired corrections officer (early retirement due to injuries) and play now more than ever since I'm home almost 24/7. It's funny because I spent 25 years of my life getting spit on, piss and shit thrown in my face, getting my ass kicked, and horrifically insulted and threatened on a daily basis. And YET I would come home after a long bad day and be confronted almost daily by much worse douchebaggery in WoW and suddenly have the urge to go back to prison where people had more respect for each other lol.

Hahahahah number six is golden! I have a story about that, combined with number 9.
So I was still leveling my main toon at the time, Tauren Hunter, and we had one of THOSE tanks that would constantly pull up the DPS stats and complain about the lowest DPSing instance member. So this guy was ragging on me for having only 2k dps when everyone else had around 6k, but 1. I was on the phone with my mom and 2. the tank wouldn't stop pulling when I asked for them to wait. So what do I do? Well, I make a new macro and test out my new "feign death" ability of course! Tank is battling a mob of enemies, so I run ahead a bit and click my macro. My instance groups sees me yell "I CAME IN LIKE A WREEEECKING BAAALL!!!" while pulling the boss towards them. The tank. Flips. His. Shit. And when I feigned death and watched them all die he was yelling at me (caps lock) while the rest of the group was laughing, then I said "Had enough fun?" and mass rezzed. It was so goddamn golden and I will never forget it. I may be the hunter that needs to hang back for awhile to do other things around the house, but if you piss me off, I will watch you die in vain with a troll face.

I think a lot of times when hunters ninja pull, it is an accident because they just spam buttons and autotarget a new group of mobs. I used to do this when I was new.

my story is about number 7.
i play a warlock so we are a walking summoning portal but even if its 40 members i send a summon to each one down the list. a guy near the end of the raid list was spamming my whispers saying " SUMMON!!! YOU LAZY LOCK ". i explained to him that im going down the list and to be patient. all of a sudden i hear this loud yelling in vent saying " F**** LAZY LOCK NEEDS TO BE KICKED! HES NOT DOING SH*T ! " instantly i was removed from the raid because the he was the raid leaders " mate irl ".
this is why im a salty warlock when it comes to summons.

I think number 9 isn't really a douchebag. When i'm healing in an instance I love when the tank charges through. Actually makes this game a bit challenging and gets things done quicker.
As a tank I like to give it 5 minutes so I can work out the skill level of my healer before doing huge pulls, It's fine most of the time but there's a lot of noob healers that don't like, I love healing big pulls myself too

Well, when I leveled up my brewmaster monk, I would pull massive groups and just kite when my guard was down :) doing massive dps but yeah at level 100 it's annoying when some tanks do not glance at the healers mana or hps.

this guy follows me, then, gets within range, path of frost kicks in, just before he hits the water, and he's got the run from crossroads to do, while i'm telling him in guild chat why i did it, and the rest of the guild taking the piss out of him
Agree 100% with the RP comment. I play on an RP server, because i like the atmosphere more, although i don't actively RP. All it takes is toggling run off now and again and not interfering with people talking to respect people's RP. It's not hard.

People want me to thoroughly look up tactics for raids beforehand? I get the potions part and holding up the party. But, like he said: I come home after work and want to play for a few hours. Why do I need to figure out the raid tactics if that's what the leader does? Gotta give some slack to newbies/casuals on that.

I've raided before without being a freak over the exact technical details for each boss, and have never been the one to slow down, wipe, or ruin a raid . I just don't think it's that big of a deal if I follow the raid, and check out the raid book as I go.

I'm a healer and damn good at it. I'm usually very chill because I know it is just a game, but what makes me rage is the fact no one listens to the healer. Like no one. If i need mana, nothing; if i need the tank to pull things off of me, nothing; if I tell the group what needs to be done, nothing. The healer is THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER, PROTECT HIM! LISTEN TO HIM! The healer sees ALL the mistakes everyone makes and knows how to prevent them, at least the good ones do.
I have a personal rule. Dont piss off the healer.
Or they whine and cry when someone does protect the healer instead of getting out in the front and fighting.

Agreed with the impatient pulling thing. I play all roles and I can say for a fact that raids and dungeons will go better when the healer is accounted for. I’ve gone round and round with tanks who were too impatient to wait for healers to mana up before pulls, blaming me for their death when they couldn’t wait 3 seconds for me to drink up. These tanks also tend to think they are BA but they don’t do basic things like pulling mobs out of ground damage and use their blocking buffs :/
My favorite noob troll is in Elwynn Forest. Back in vanilla there was a quest to gather bundles of wood from under the trees, but the way the quest was worded it sounded like it was telling you to gather wood from the trees themselves. So there were a lot of noobs who would ask in General, "How do i gather wood from trees?" and I would always respond with, "You have to visit the Lumberjack trainer in Stormwind and learn the profession." :P

Tensa Zangetsu LFR probably won't help you at all, they're almost impossible to wipe on, you'll probably have to use it to gear up a bit though, try and get into a few normal mode raids to see how it goes, just make sure you know how to play your class first though :)

So, this is a new one for me... Last night in raid, as soon as we zoned in, the Raid Frames just went NUTS. The raid leader (I assume, or whomever had assist) reassigned everyone in the raid as tanks. And then pulled. The healers had no idea who to heal, tanks had no idea who to protect, and total chaos ensued. Of course, as soon as someone died, they released (appropriately, since it was just a trash pull) so the fight quickly moved to the entrance of the raid... wherein people kept releasing, and slaughtering the entirety of the raid. Total repair bill from this douchebag? 230g
In a random dungeon group with a bad tank who decides to blame you for wiping when it's clearly his fault, and now he's threatening to kick you from the group? Not a problem if you're a Rogue. I had this happen once. I stealthed up to the boss and dragged half the dungeon back to the group, then vanished. Make sure to say something snide before quitting the group. :) Go do something else for a while while your debuf wears off. Re-Queue.
Even better. . . If you KNOW a tank is going to issue a vote-kick on you, just initiate a vote-kick on him first. . . hehehe
I've tested this out several times, and I can tell you that people tend not to look at the name of the person being voted to be kicked - they just hit the accept button, and the jerk tank gets kicked. You almost always end up with a better tank for the rest of the run. . . And you can just picture the old tank nerd raging after realizing YOU vote-kicked him before HE could kick you. :) Fair is fair, and what comes around goes around.
Or pull the boss seconds before your kick.
OMG, I can totally relate to the "Impatient Tank" one. I mostly do healing in dungeons because dps ques are to long and to tank you have to know the dungeon. I have been stuck with MANY IT's and sucks! Thx for mentioning him/her in this video peon :)

I think it's awesome that you actually mention roleplaying in your videos since I don't really see it all that often when it comes to WoW videos. Equally awesome is the fact that the "RP Crasher" was so high on the list.
I guess I've been particularly lucky in my experiences with WoW, as I've not come across many douchebags. My absolute, most frustrating type on this list has got to be the impatient tank, just because I detest people like that. They act like the only ones in the dungeon who matter and that can really sour a run.
I would like to mention one type that didn't make the list; the "Experience Sponge". This is the guy who queues up and then goes AFK as soon as he zones in and puts someone on folllow. This is especially maddening when he queues up with one or more friends who then stop you from kicking him, making it so that your only real choices are to keep running the dungeon with someone who isn't contributing, or leave yourself and accept the consequences that come with that.

@@clamix178 multiboxers are worse as they often flag themself for pvp then go ahead and kill everything... as a force they're basically unstoppable. Maybe if you got 39 other players you can beat em.
As with regular players, multiboxers come in all shapes and sizes. Yes, there are those who do the things you say, and in my side of things, those who farm up insane quantities of materials and tank the prices, but there are many more of us who simply use multiboxing as a tool to allow us to carry out multiplayer content without having to rely on others.
And now in 2018 you actually get more experience when you tag pvp lol
A few things I used to do.
1 go to booty bay (when it was still a active place) on a pve server, look for two horde members dueling, flag myself for pvp, wait for one of them to cast a aoe spell, sit back and watch the guards pound them.
2 roll a druid, ask someone on the boat for a duel, throw them off the boat as it's leaving
3. jump on a max lvl toon, find a lowbie, cc them for as long as i could and /dance (but at least I wouldn't actually kill them)

Newsflash: Horde do it too, and ally players swear the same kind of death oath and believe me there are more than enough people who can and will stomp you into the ground. Also, by now, most people just assume if you're attackable, you're going to attack so they're prepared for whatever you might try. You might want to keep that in mind, and maybe you won't be so angry and vengeful when you make a ganker fail. :)
tremedar I agree but for me playing as both aliance or horde on a pvp server it seems i get ganked ALOT more when im leveling horde

Mitcellie sadly its true I play ally mostly for pve raiding but from time to time I do pvp on my pally. The rise in botters in bgs on ally side has increased alot. Blizz has yet to do anything about the situation and knowing their regulations on botting they should be stomping this shit into the ground.

I personally don't go after lowbies unless they're farming something I need, then it's just wrong place, wrong time. I find more entertainment in lowbie on lowbie ganking, because then gear isn't the issue, you're both pretty much even, it's all skill. I even prefer other lowbies _trying_ to gank me, tests how well I react to a disadvantage.
I hate to say it, but 90% of the Brazilian player base. Refered to as "jaja"s, these guys can't communicate with the rest of the group, pull for the tank, need on everything they can press need for, and act like complete douchebags normally wiping the group numerous times all because the rest of the group is not Brazillian.
TheAsylumchild The messed up part is that Blizz thought it was doing a benefit of good to help getting the que times down but all it has caused is headaches for us English players. I should not have to learn a new language in order to play this game. This is WoW not Rosetta Stone.
TheAsylumchild just pointing out that br players never type "jajajaja". that's spanish-speaking latino players, not brazilians (which speak portuguese). that said, i was yesterday chatting with a friend how 98% of the people i know who can't understand english are automatically intellectually inferior to people who can. understanding english opens a HUGE cultural and intellectual gate for an individual, and unfortunately most of us dont know and dont care about it.

I beg to differ, sir. That is why I have heard them referred to as "jaja" because that is normally the very first thing they type when you say "hey (class) stop pulling! You aren't the tank!" or "Hey mage why'd you roll Need on that plate?" It has actually nothing to do with language (I use Goggle Translator in really sticky situations. The translations may be crappy but at least someone can get the gist of what is being said). It has to do with simple prejudice against all players and games not Brazilian. I have played and even been an admin on several f2p/p2p games over the years and over 90% of the people acting like jerks (kill stealing, PKing, griefing, etc.) or those caught cheating (botting, dual boxing, etc.) were Brazilians. NOT ALL Brazilians are cheaters and jerks, but there are enough of them that act that way to make the rest of them guilty by default and that's sad.

Back in Cataclysm when Gilneas first came out, i played horde on Moonguard.. Me and a friend were level 60 twinking on a hunter and rogue (Me on hunter, him on rogue). We were the RP crashers that you put on the list. What we would do was go to the main hangout spot for low level alliance/level 58 deathknights being made in droves for RP and we would flag ourselves PvP. I would run and stand right in the middle of the group of people and look like I was afk. We would sit and wait for a few minutes until people would flag themselves to kill me, then we would just obliterate all of the flagged people. We did that for weeks and weeks getting honor and just having all around fun. It came to a stop once they started bringing in max level players who would kill us when we showed up.

This video reminds me when I was leveling in Shadowmoon Valley (Outlands) on my B-Elf Warrior.
WoD had just started, and I wanted to level as quickly as possible, so I was grinding like crazy. I came across a neutral base for both Horde and Alliance, with two humans standing there. I gave them a simple wave and continued grinding.
Turns out they were PMing their Level 100 Monk, and the next thing I knew I was being ganked, and corpse-camped by this asshole.
Moral of this story? *_Most_* Alliance players are assholes.

I don't mind ganking in itself, I just found it kinda shitty they called their monk-buddy over simply because I greeted them.

Lazy you forgot to mention how much blizz cracks down on people who interrupt RP sessions on RP servers. Which can result in suspensions and banning. Other then that, another great video =D
As someone who used to lead WOTLK 25 mans that weren't... the most coordinated groups, I can somewhat understand the raging raid leaders. It can get incredibly frustrating when you tell players to pay attention to whether or not they have gravity or light bomb debuffs on XT-002 Deconstructor, and yet they stay near the group when they should run away. This is just one example of many that have pissed me off.
i used to stand by the auction house in org back in the day and type" /e spits on you." a few time and "/e laughs at you" sat back, watched as angry whispers of people saying "fuck off", "do i know you? wtf is your problem". i was an undead rogue, people on my server used to warn people that i was toxic and a troll. ffs i miss that

Kept turning corners in Shadowfang Keep, line of sighting all my heals midcast, then convinced the group to vote kick me because I couldn't get a heal on the tank off for most of the dungeon, calling me 'garbage'. I confess I haven't healed since. The abuse just isn't worth it at all.
I stopped playing early Wotlk, but I started in TBC. While I was leveling there were some minor world bosses that required killing in Zangarmarsh for quests. If I found a player killing the spawn I wanted, I'd pull the nearby mobs, herd them over to his vicinity, and tap vanish. The mobs would aggro to him. Then, the boss + 6 new mobs would mow his ass down. Finally, I'd kill the boss after everything reset. This also works if you world pvp while leveling. That's the douchiest that I've ever gone though.
This video bring back so many memories, the impatient tank guys... the hunters pull barrages, is why I'd rather wait 10-15 min than deal with those people in pugs and randoms heroics

Number 3 also makes you famous too. Can't tell you how many times I've heard people reference videos of raid leads losing their shit on voice chat. Just ask the "More Dots" guy, or the "Left=Positive, Right=Negative" guy xD it may suck when first dealing with those people at those moments, but once it's caught on video and uploaded to the world, those meltdowns don't fade anytime soon

I just got back into WOW, and I am among new players fresh from the Warcraft movie. All of them are ninja pullers. Maybe they will find your channel informative.
Oh gosh, me and my friends were doing dungeon adventures by walking to every dungeon on foot/mount. And on one of our treks towards Uldaman we came across this alliance ganker who was 20 levels higher than us. Killed us all at least once but then we managed to take the sucker down as if it was a raid boss, coordinating our stuns and disorients to prevent him from striking us down. Send him running. But no, we didn't let that DB escape. We nailed him down on the spot and finished the job.

Well this isn't from WoW, but I play a healer in another game. When you talked about the tanks that won't wait for the healer or the rest of the group and just run through aggroing like 3-4 mobs. MY GOD! It's so darn annoying because he usually runs out before I've got my pet summoned and he's taking damage as he runs, and I can't insta cast to try to mitigate the damage because healing spells have cast times. Oh look! He's nearly dead when he finally stops. Oh look! 20 monsters are charging right at me now! We're all screwed. Thanks tank! You being in a rush to get through this place is taking it twice as long to get through now!
My friend has a theory that most trolls before trolling will go to there computer, fire up a joint and then say "LET'S DO SOME TROLL SHIT!!!" Then plays the Benny Hill chase music while trolling

I once accidently interupped an RP event. I had no clue what was going on. I felt so bad, apologized a couple of times, and logged off. Luckily, they didn't mind it, since I was fairly new to the game back then. (5 years ago) But till this day, I still feel really bad for it.

#9, Story Time: I was leveling my monk, and decided against my better judgement to use LFG. Ended up getting Dire Maul as a Tank. So I pop into the instance, but I'm in Windwalker, so I take a moment to switch to Brewmaster, which I hadn't used in ages, so I had to allocate a few talents and some of my abilities. I know, my fault for not preparing my specs beforehand, but that would have taken less than a minute. While I was preparing, the fucking PRIEST decided they wanted to pull the first three groups. I barely knew what any of my abilities did and the priest wanted to be the impatient tank. They then accused me of being a bot since I hadn't pulled anything myself in the first ten seconds of the instance. Also, they were not in Shadowform, which leads me to believe they were set as a healer (or at least trying to dps in Disc), but I'm pretty sure the only one they healed was themself. Thankfully the Ret(I think? Someone mentioned the off-heals) paly wasn't as big a douchebag and tried to at least keep me alive. Turns out low-level Brewmasters are kinda squishy, and I died a couple times, and had to use every defensive ability I could find to survive several trash pulls. And this is not the only time it's happened. For some reason when I'm NOT the tank, everyone's super chill except for the few times the tank is the one pulling so far ahead no one can keep up, but whenever I am the tank, one of the DPS has to be "That Guy" and then say how shitty of a tank I am. A few times playing druid, I just thought about switching to Feral just to let them do it. Sadly the healers always facilitate their behavior, so I can't just let them die and tell them to shove it. Also the guys who pull new groups before the current one is dead. If you're in that big of a hurry dude, why the hell did you even accept the dungeon invite? If you have somewhere else to be, why are you even here?
The issue with raids/dungeons is if you're casual trying to get gear using dungeon finder is that nobody is helpful and only talk to insult eachother...

I hate the people who, when you perform poorly in a dungeon, just tell you that you suck and insult you. What help is that?
A variety of number 8: People ask for directions and then call you shit because you know where it is and your trying to be nice and help.. >>; This happens alot to me on my server and it REALLY puts me off of helping people (especially when im watching people purposely give the wrong answer). Or the person asks for more then just directions (flying them, gold, guild invites, ect ect) to waste your time or call you a douche when you decline...
I remembering leveling a Orc Hunter during BC on the Frostwolf realm in Stranglethorn vale and being camped by two people for nearly three hours. I logged out and never went back to that character. His ghost is probably still at the graveyard lol.
I remember doing a raid with my hunter. The first boss got pulled before everyone was ready so some people got barred outside the zone and couldn't fight. Everyone blamed me for it, and I was one of the people who got locked out. I WASN'T EVEN IN RANGE TO HIT THE BOSS! First and last time I ever dealt with that.
A tank that takes off all their gear before entering a dungeon/raid. Grouping with people before entering, so when a vote goes to kick that person, it doesn't pass.
I once tanked a dungeon in a pug back in mop where after one wipe, the healer decided it was my fault and refused to heal me to prove their point. We consequently died straight away. They then blamed me again.
One experience I had about a couple of weeks ago, and this is why I’ve officially given up on pvp, was the last Eye of the Storm match I was in. So my team’s losing (I’m mainly an Alliance player, so you definitely know how bad it is these days), but only by a slight margin. So we manage to secure the middle so this demon hunter in our group could pick up and cap the flag, scoring us a possible winning advantage, but as soon as he gets to the one base we have, all he does is just stand there and dance. So we’re all just yelling at him to capture the flag, and he’s trolling us badly, playing it like he doesn’t understand what we’re saying, and then he starts getting attacked, and he simply runs away from the base and lets himself get killed, and thus he intentionally made us lose the match. Needless to say, we were all super pissed by the end of it
Agree with everything except for the PVP gankers. This was what made wow popular back then, world pvp interaction between the horde and the alliance. You get gank, you call your guild/friends for help, the ganker end up getting camp, they then call their guild/friends for help and it escalates into an all out pvp event. I've been on both side of ganking and I must admit that it was certainly a lot more entertaining then signing up for BG and Arena.
Number 9 is extremely true. Sometimes I'm convinced tanks are purposefully running away from me and my heals.
