One thing I noticed upon my rewatches is that even though Stolas just downed some hard liquor, he was still aware of his surroundings to not instigate the frisky business with Blitzø. Truly a model of self-control and decorum.
Fun Fact: Paimon and Blitzo's dad are voiced by Jonathan Freeman who voiced Jafar in the original Aladdin. How does Vivziepop keep getting these people?!
I think this is the first time he's wanted it, if what he says is anything to go by, but Stella refused to go and Stolas still wanted to keep things somewhat normal for Octavia. However he's reached his breaking point with her.
I’m just glad to see that Stolas as the father and a victim of domestic abuse is standing up to his abusers and still trying to be a good Father. Men like that don’t get enough recognition because most people assume it’s always the Man’s fault.
Stolas's happy little laughs being owl hoots is adorable! And 8:59 "Don't bow to him, he bows to us!" ..Yet Stolas still bowed to Blitz in last episode.. ;w;
When Stolas opens the book and says "I'm the fool to believe when you look into my eyes" he gives a page with Asmodeus gems, it is known that he belongs to the ring of lust and the succubi and incubus need human energy, they use those gems to travel to the mortal world, that's how verosika and company went there, I think Stolas wanted to give it to Blitzø to make it easier for him and not be left without working when Stolas needs the book like in the chapter where Striker appeared
Or also because Stolas wants to end his relationship with Blitzø? That would be so much sadder! But it can be...Since they had that conversation before the previous chapter ended and *he sees* that Blitzø would not be able to accept his feelings for him and that he only wants the book..That's why in the song Stolas says "What's between you and i just a comfortable lie". *Sad music* :'( [Edit]: And in the part where you say "I'm the fool who believes when you look in my eyes" there he realizes that everything has been a lie and he calls himself a fool because he has believed everything that Blitzø said and did with him since it was only so that he could keep the book....
It could be a set-up for Blitzø to return because normally the only reason would be because he needs the book but he can now show his true feelings by seeing Stolas not for the book.
@@eyitsgallery Yeah that's right, over there we see that Blitzø has a photo with Stolas and also in this new episode when Blitzø was going to leave, leaving Stolas tied up he felt sorry and *HMM* some other feeling Blitz began to have from the beginning that they saw each other heh
I think that Stolas started connecting dots. He saw Verosika, Blitz' ex at Ozzie's who noted she used to date him before he broke her heart in song. When he stopped to consider why Blitz was with him, for the book and access to the living world, he could have thought of Blitz' ex and what their relationship could have been. And could think of the possibility that Blitz was using *her* for her gem. He's a pretty smart owl when he's not being oblivious after all.
I think my favorite line is just the first part of the "I. DON'T. CARE what your arrogant brother thinks!" The way Bryce gives those first 3 words so much pain and anger together, sounding on the verge of falling apart completely, as if lashing out like that is new to him. It may not be the most powerful, booming voice, but to hear that from one who is usually so cool and collected and refined is absolutely powerful.
mine was "the only thing the goita family wanted from our marriage is already 17" just ouch that had to hurt. and knowing how much Stollas loves his daughter it had to be a hard thing to say
I too loved Stolas’ Song and how you feel the emotion. You can tell he’s sad when some notes his voice cracks as if the actor himself is crying while singing. In my opinion the best part where you really feel it is when he sings “what’s between you and I, just a comfortable lie?”
I heard somewhere that Stolas' voice actor wanted to do the whole song together in a single take, take 4 is what ended up in the episode, and he was indeed crying while singing.
I think the reason Stolas didn't get the divorce was because he was scared of what the rest of his family would think, and it seems like he's scared of Stella's brother Andrealphus as well.
Yeah good point. I mean we haven't even seen Andrealphus in the show yet, only heard his name in the middle of that slap to Stolas's face! He's likely gonna play a major role in at least one episode.
@@drdewott9154 Andreamalphus is ranked below Stolas in power and stature, so it wouldn't surprise me that he dislikes Stolas and wants to take his seat of power
I doubt Stolas has any legitimate fear of any other Goetia other than the heads of the family. If anything it's merely his more passive nature that probably makes it hard for him to stand up for himself, but we know for a fact exactly how dangerous Stolas actually is.
@@Blitzvonic I agree with this. It's a bit odd how there are two sides to his nature: we do indeed see him as a pushover when trying to win a friend with his books and things (then succumbing to the theft game, which I'm still boggled that there are no repercussions! Not a single consequence!! But on the other hand? Striker is REALLY not wrong when he says the Goetia just talk over everyone else, and Baby Blitzo clearly identifies sarcasm when Stolas clearly doesn't believe he will ever work for Blitz. (It is, of course extremely unlikely, but still.) Stolas, completely innocently, even talks over Blitz on his cellphone in paragraphs when it's fairly clear that Blitz can't keep up, types in short sentences and probably was not taught to spell, as imps are the lowest tier in hell society...
"Stolas doesn't need this perfect gorgeous voice." Professional singer Bryce Pinkham in shambles. (In the watch party they said that Bryce did the lament in only ~4 takes and that the final version is from a single take, hence the emotion and imperfections)
Stella probably stalled on the divorce thing which is why it was taking so long. I think Stolas finally put his foot down like "enough stalling! It's happening NOW!"
I have a theory that Blitzø's family circus's gimmick is being a twin-themed attraction. A lot of the preformers looked identical and preformed symmetrically. I mean, we know Blitz and Barb are twins, and the mark on their foreheads are either a family thing or a circus-gang-thing.
I could see that being true. And I think the forehead marks are a circus thing, I think there's one on a chest in one scene and also Fizz has one and he's not related to Blitzø or Barbie
@@47ratsinahoodie This episode made me rethink that, tho. He may be a distant cousin or something, but on the other hand it might just be the gang-related part of my theory. I can't WAIT to see what's actually cannon lol
I believe the reason he didn't divorce her when he started the affair is that after the high of tell her he wanted a divorce she probably intimidated him out of it. She's obviously very verbally abusive and as we've seen her potentially physically abusive. Stolas is scared of her. So even though he initially tried to make it work for Via's sake, I think in that last scene he's just so tired of his life the way it is so he finally had the back bone to stand up for his own happiness and mental well being.
As someone who knows about 10 musicals start to end and sings them when angry, so see a character who has such a pained voice sing , without auto tune or change the VA to sing and stuff just makes me happy. It feels as if he is just a very versed person who decided to push out the emotions in a creative way! FITS STOLAS perfectly!
Those crystals in the book is another way to access the living world, usually used by succubi to go to earth, so stolas is possibly trying to sever ties with blitzo by giving him one.
This episode made me really appreciate stolas as a character with the terrible marriage that he’s been forced to endure on top of trying to give his daughter a normal happy life
Sad thing that Stolas's father might be actually a good dad. Comparing to other hell's creatures. He might seem like asshole, but he actually tried to make his son happy. Even though ha didn't even remembered his name.
The fact that this episode focuses on my favorite character Stolas made me enjoy the start of this season. The fact I only know who Paimon is from Hereditary. Love that he’s voiced by my favorite Disney villain Jafar.
So far every reactor I've seen has gotten confused about the middle section being a flashback at first. Stolas still causally had the grimoire and Blitzø was sneaking around his window, so I assumed it was still a flashback. It helps that Stella didn't bring up the affair at all while talking about the not divorced party. Still I can see how a lot of people would miss the hints before Stolas and Blitzø started talking.
As revealed in the end credits, Stolas' father is Paimon. Unlike in the show, he is usually depicted as a man riding a camel. While different works credit him with different titles, in the Ars Goetia, he is one of the nine kings of hell, the same rank Asmodeus holds, too. Though since he does not represent any of the 7 Deadly Sins, I think it's likely that, while being a high ranking demon, he is not on the same level as Asmodeus in this show, as well (though that's just a theory for now). He is usually portrayed as being highly knowledgeable about the world. In some versions, he can even see the past and the future. Lastly, he is said to be quite loyal towards Lucifer.
I'd be lying if I tried to pretend I haven't been checking your channel over and over again ever since this episode dropped. I never commented or anything because I knew you were sick and wanted you to recover but I'm so glad this is out
26:43 I actually disagree with the thought that blitz only cares for himself, i think he cares deeply for the people in his life(Loona is a good example of this, he openly expresses how much he cares for her.) but he just doesn't want to care because he's afraid they'll leave him if he gets too close, so he acts like he doesn't care so he can push people away before they inevitably leave them. he thinks he doesn't deserve the people around him, as seen in episode 7, he has pictures hung up on the wall of moxxie, millie, and loona yet he's scratched himself out of those pictures. He uses shitty behavior as a shield. Deep down i think he cares about Stolas, in truth seekers he is trying to crawl up towards Stolas while his subconscious tells him that he doesn't know how to deal with proper intimacy, but he also craves it. He wants that with Stolas but, again, he thinks he isn't good enough for Stolas. He was legitimately hurt when stolas hid his face at Ozzie's because it confirms what he thinks, that he's something to be ashamed of and only capable of a lustful relationship with Stolas, not a loving one. I think if he worked through his self esteem issues they could actually be good for eachother, we've seen he can be loving when he's secure in a relationship, like with Loona he's very sweet and affectionate.
I remember when you get get so unformatable whenever Stolas did ANYTHING. How times changed. Also I don't like the implication of Blitzo talking about losing limbs to Fizzarolli who has robotic limbs
For real, he used to be my least favorite character, since he was just used to say dirty things with the bleep sounds, but after episode two I started to like him more, now he is one of my favorites
Fizz is an Imp, his 'horns' were rigid like Blitzo's when he was a kid. Every time we see Fizz grown up, his 'horns' are flopping around...like the horns had been cut off. Blitzo calls Fizz a sell-out Jester....horns cut off to hide his Impish heritage? Missing limbs?
(about losing limbs) The power of foreshadowing. In that play scene with Fizz and Blitzo, Fizz clearly still had a whole normal imp body, so something happened to him later on to where he needed to get robotic prosthetic limbs, and Blitz being responsible could explain their bitterness towards each other. I just hope we get to see what that event was (and an episode coming up in season 2 that was teased to have more Ozzy and Fizz screentime could be an opportunity to show it).
I’ve seen this episode already and let me just say: *Stolas deserves better than this.* Also Paimon (Stola’s Father)is also voiced by Jafar from Aladdin.
I think Stolas first yelled out about getting a divorce because he was in the high of the new exciting moment, but he got more meek and hesitant about it when he calmed down (also, apparently Stella has a powerful brother she uses as a threat.)
Stolas’s first song was more clean cut because it was a lullaby for Via, but this song was much more raw feeling because it’s his emotions. I love the way they did that, the second song also felt like it cut back on the instrumentals and followed the song we heard in Dhorks when he breaks into the base.
they got unofficially divorced cause of statues ...(she will leave on the weekends but come back) but now that he's so done with it he doesn't care anymore and willing to go public
So this episode really helped justify my analysis of Blitz’s and Stolas’ relationship. Stolas is more or less oblivious to how an actual relationship functions. From his throne, to his marriage, to pretty much everyone he knows is FORCED to act a certain way around him. With the SOLE exception of Octavia his daughter. (Who he notably smiled at when he went to check on her the night of the party.) Blitz DID feel regret about stealing the Grim Moire from someone who trusted him and turned it into a “business” transaction. And yes Stolas did figure it out why they had the transaction pretty much immediately after, but didn’t recognize it as a problem to their relationship. Hence to why the end of the Ozzie episode played out the way it did. Blitz and Stolas DO have a path forward, but the same thing I said last time stays true. Stolas needs to understand he wants more out of a relationship with Blitz and has to provide him an option instead of demanding it like he has been doing through most of the show. Especially since Blitz has lost so much already from a family that he no longer has, and Vizarolli his performing partner. Not to mention whatever gaslighting he’s endured from not just them, but also Verosika when they dated. (There’s a LOT of signs she did much more to Blitz to hurt him and he’s quiet about it.) At the very least both are out of their toxic relationships and both will likely have to save each other from what remains of it.
"I thought there was gonna be some repercussions" "But you're not divorced? What happened?" We don't have the full story yet, just Stolas'! I'm excited to see whose backstory is next!
Yes yes, i've been waiting for your reaction to the HB season 2 premiere Zamber! it's a really epic episode! Seeing yound Blitz and Stolas form a childhood friendship was just adorable! and i still can't believe that Paimon was voiced by none other than the same voice actor as Jafar he did a masterful job! And seeing Stolas finally stand up to Stella was the most satisfying part of the whole episode, and now that we finally have the backstory we can finally honestly say that after all the years of physical and verbal abuse from Stella, she had it coming when Stolas cheated on her with Blitz.
This episode is so sad because it completely reframed Stolas’ attachment to Blitzø as even more pathetic and desperate. I don’t know about anyone else, but watching the pilot I got the impression that Blitzø and Stolas had a more longstanding “fuckbuddies” relationship and that the Grimoire was a fringe benefit. Knowing that Blitzø acquiring the book was their *first meeting as adults* really reframes all their previous interactions, and recontextualizes how uncomfortable Blitzø seems with being attached to Stolas. I firmly believe that as of right now Blitzø has *zero* conscious desire to be with Stolas. He’s just kinda stuck with him, and Stolas can’t quite grasp that reality yet.
In regards to Stolas not grasping the reality of his relations with Blitz, I thought that was the point of the song at the end. I felt the song was about Stolas one half expressing his loneliness, the other half facing the possibility that Blitz didn't actually love him. That's what I got from the lyrics, anyway.
The song segment at the end of the episode is actually Stolas coming to terms with that reality. It shows him seeing himself in Blitzo in those pictures on his phone. Stolas is miserable in the photos with Stella, and he saw Blitzo was the same way in his. And since this is obviously right after House of Asmodeus, he realizes Blitzo sees this as just a simple transaction. In the dong he grabs a book with “Asmodeus Crystals” which are normally given to succubas to travel to the living world. And any demon that holds one can travel to the living world freely. Which a lot of people are speculating means he’s gonna give one to Blitzo so he doesn’t have to be holding the grimoire over Blitzo anymore.
Oh absolutely. Both of them are tragic. Stolas is not grasping the power dynamic he holds over Blitzø and is so desperate for his fantasy and delusion, and Blitz was already sold to this guy once, it’s incredibly uncomfortable and probably as a baseline, terrifying.
I disagree with the last part. Primarily because of two scenes: The hallucination in truth seekers, and the closing scene in Ozzie's. That being that we know Blitz has commitment issues and wants to get closer to people (evidenced by how he stalks moxxie and millie), but habitually pushes them away due to his trauma. If you look carefully at the end of Ozzie's, you can see that Blitz is *only* rejecting Stolas because of this: He convinces himself that Stolas is also using him despite knowing that to not be the case. He was literally on the verge of crying in that scene, and then when he's on his phone later he does. He doesn't *want* to reject Stolas. He *does* want an actual relationship. The problem is that they both have hangups which prevents either from acknowledging this fact. What I predict is that Blitz will initially accept the osmodean crystal, believing it to be a win for him to not have to deal with stolas anymore, but then slowly realize that he actually did want to make things work and just fucked it up, then proceed to go back to him and restart the relationship without the power game going on. Like, the show is really setting up a stage-play style drama with this relationship, so I think that's the most likely way it'll happen.
Episode 8 has yet to release because of legal issues ( copyright, or something else) yet they plan to re-purpose it as a “special” yet it has no effect on the overall progression of Helluva Boss series as it stands. We’ll just have to wait until the next episode drops to see what happens going forward.
truth is the missing episode was actually supose to be a silly one, and the previous episode waws the true ending of the season. Vivzie was never going to resolve anything that episode we missed. she said so herself
Curious then what episode 8 will be. 7 was part 1 8 will be part 2. The official channel Viv does say that they are still working on it and started s2 e1 since the wait was getting so long. If what you say is also true, then that gives a bit more credit to the theory that 8 will focus on Loona and her hound party.
Sometimes I feel, the "we are in Hell" argument is a bit weak. :) Charlie is an angel practically (maybe even genetically, not sure about the whole lore about her parents), Stolas is a really good dad, Moxie and Millie are also good enough if we don't think about the killing part. Stella so far is the most disgusting piece of trash. Also, Stolas wasn't shocked about the slap, so I doubt it was the first time...
well "we're in hell"thing is mostly to explain why everyone is largely awful and why eeveryone is fine with casual swearing and violence (and murder). Yes there are good people in hell but they're the except not the rule and in general being mean and cruel is what is socially acceptable iand expected in hell.
Lucifer is confirmed to be a fallen angel, so she is part angel yeah I find it funny how everyone thinks Stella is the worst of the worst for being abusive now, don't get me wrong, it's still bad, but there are far worse demons than her, Valentino and Alastor are a perfect example of being worse then her
Charlie is a Nephalem, Angel/Demon mix, not to be confused with Nephilim, which is Angel/Human mix. And tbf, we don't know Stella's full story yet, considering we only see mostly Stola's side of the story, she's also a victim of being married to someone who she doesn't love.
@@chocolateworshiper6765 To be fair, we see her abusive tendencies over several episodes. Valentino's is in the addict video, which a lot of people probably missed, and Alastor acts so charming and friendly, it's easy to forget he's a cannibalistic murderer, because we haven't really seen him do these things, we only know he has. Knowing and seeing have different impact.
20:45 Remember the Lounger Owner with the sexy voice from the last episode? Those crystals allow his minions, employees?, to travel to the human realm to drain humans of their energy via sex. It's been heavily theorized that Stolas is going to give one of these gems to Blitzo so he won't need Stolas' Grimoire. And remember that sexy cowboy hitman from the 5th episode? Stella still has him retained to merc Stolas.
@@ALunarLight I think that's more likely. Cause even now I could still sew Stella not signing any paperwork. But if Andrealphus' opinions used to matter to Stolas than maybe he talked him out of it
both dad's to Stolas and Blitz are kind of heartless but they both have good points: Stolas's father actually wanted to cheer him up (atleast for a while to stop him from being moppy) and he did see he enjoyed Blitz's joke and all so he was paying attention. and as for Blitz's father, he realized how dirty it was for them to want to buy he's kid so he wanted to get the good from their family and wanted to help theirs. grant it, they are still not great parents but something is better than nothing.
Lamanitis is a real thing that can cripple a horse (any creature that walks on hooves really) but it’s less that the legs “stop working” and more that the hoof layers separate, making every step extremely painful. There are ways to make it easier for the horse, but if it just can’t walk then they typically euthanize it
Apparently, Laminitis is something exclusive to animals with hooves since it affects tissue found in the hoof and eating too much sugar can cause it. :O
for reference on the shows singer bryce is covered but fizz and robofizz songs are performed by the broadway singer for beetlejuice and ozzi's singer is the broadway singer for the genie in alladin and is the voice of tex also verosika is voiced by the voice actress for miraculous ladybug soooooo ummmmm yeahhhhhh
I think that he didn’t divorce back then cuz of the ppl his wife mentions after he tells her they’re getting "THE" divorce (which were her brother and his family) but at this point Stolas is at his breaking point. He's come to terms with the fact the only person he's ever romantically loved has not ONCE come to him without an ulterior motive. Ppl say that the book is about these lust gems that allows them to go to earth and he had that prepared it might mean he was thinking of ending the contract so they could have a normal relationship that wasn’t bound to a contract but with his reflection I think he know's the relationship isn’t going to go anywhere and will probably end it.
22:18 it's such an interesting detail how stolas' pupils come in as soon as he stands up against his wife. to my knowledge, i don't we've ever seen them pop out in this fashion.
First episode I've seen of yours because I love reaction videos, Subscribed because I don't get enough "random" reactions of this show from women and YES XD I hope to see you more in my regular YT feed ❤
About the fact that your legs stop working if you eat too much sugar: Yes, its true. That is why diabetic people can become legless. Be careful kids. Very good reaction btw!
i dont know if you noticed on the final part I, in blitz phone the first pictures he sees is of him and stolas in bed and stolas is sleeping while he is smiling, so i do think that blitz feels something by him, he is just afraid of being loved, which makes so much worse, because he fears being alone but pushes everyone that cares about him away
The cristals are Asmodeous cristals, they can be used to open portals to the mortal world......like the grimmour, the theory goes Stolas wanted to get one for Blitz so he could still run I.M.P. without the book ending their...arrangement. ALSO Blitz does love Stolas and cares deeply for him but hes.....broken and thinks Stolas is using HIM, ALSO ALSO the balloon horses are a stand in for Fitzerolli and Blits, the green horse lost its legs in the "Great Pirate war" like Fitz lost his limbs somehow, and Blitz danced all over him and MORE BLOOD, no one knows whats with that buuuutttt its just a theory....a not ending the phrase you get it Tah tah
i just had a thought. a theory about why blitz was sad in the last episode with looking at a picture of his mom, how fizz got robotic parts and why blitz has white scars on his face as an adult. why frizz blames blitz for everything. could it be blitz got caught but stolas doesn't know? like maybe stolas dad brought hell down onto blitz family which caused so much disaster
lamenitis is actually even more terrifying than just "their legs stop working" it specifically attacks the hoofes and makes them soften and loosen from the bone and if you let the illness progress without treatment the hooves can actually fall off, forcing the horse to stand on their actual bone- there is no saving the horse at that point luckily it can be treated if noticed early through a rapid change in diet horses at a farm I used to go to had lamenitis in the past and now their diet is very closely regulated and they are only allowed to eat gras and hay- no apples or carrots, not even as an occasional treat. The only treats they can get are hay pellets. Like this though, they can still live a healthy, happy life Though this is one of many reasons why you should *never* feed random horses. For some it can mean death, even if what you feed would normally be okay for horses to eat
Those crystals in the book were special crystals that give any demon the ability to teleport to human world *without the grimoire* . This may foreshadow to something later in the series , which is sad....
Hi Zamber, sorry you weren’t feeling well :( but all glad to see you reviewing the new Helluva Boss episode. Our boy Stolas went through a lot ... and to think I felt sorry for Stella at one point, we’ll not anymore sister! You know what the best part of this whole thing is? _He can’t get in trouble for it!_ Paimon’s exact order was “get married and sire a precautionary heir to the Goetia Family” ... well he did that, 17 years ago. Paimon never once specified the marriage was forever, nor what kind of parent Stolas has to be, he just had to father a child. Everything else he did, including staying married and being a good father to Octavia, was because he wanted to. Hopefully this means Stella will be put in her place at some point because he fulfilled Paimon’s wishes and honestly Paimon seems the type to want to keep Stolas alive solely because him being killed by the likes of Striker, an imp, would be seen as an insult. Thanks for the new video Zamber, I really need it today. Stay safe all, hug your animal friends and go tell your loved ones that you love them 💙🐱💙
I had horse with laminitis, the bones in the hoof turn backwards. We thought we’d have to put her down when she was twelve, but she lived to 27 and died happy, half blind, and in her sleep.
The page with the Gem is a gem used as a portal to the human realm. Succubus and Incubus use it to go to earth. So most likely, Stolas is going to give the Gem to Blitz and say "Here, this Gem will transport you to the human realm and back no problem. In exchange, I keep my book no strings attached. You don't have to sleep with me or see me ever again." And Blitz will take it no questions asked.
Thats most likely how it will happen. I think Stolas feels like its his best shot at proving his feelings are genuine so that they can restart their relationship for the right reasons. Blitz will probably be skeptical, but still take it only to later realize he does still reciprocate Stolas' affection. I really want Stolas to be happy and safe. Right now he's neither.
Correct me if I am wrong but Stolas is wearing the same outfit from S1E7 so I am pretty sure this last scene happens right after Stolas was dropped off.
I agree with your opinion on the song, the imperfection are not bad, made me think of the song eternity with you in adventure time where the voice is crackled but it's still somehow good.
I just want Blitz to see that Stolas sees their relationship as way more than just sex and I definitely can't stand Stolas going through all this suffering, he doesn't deserve that, he's an amazing father and he really do care about Blitz, I just hope that they end up together
I’m starting to think Blitzø’s dad was originally going to be voiced by Gilbert Gottfried had he lived. Would’ve been a 1992 Aladdin reunion with both him and Jonathan Freeman.
I found Paimon forgetting his son's name funny and relatable. My mom will go down an entire list before she remembers my name. 😂 She cares about me. But it's still funny to see her struggle sometimes.
sad truth. I feel more and more like stolas as I get older. I cant connect with my family friends and loved ones. each day thats going by I feel myself becoming more and more hollow. just tired of everything and everyone trying to help everyone but not getting any help in return. either way thabknyoubfor taking the tike to read this and hope you are doing better then me
I think stolas refrained from a divorce because, from what we can tell, he’s always allowed himself to be a pushover. He’s even endured Stella’s verbal and (very likely) physical abuse for years. So he finally ended the cycle and I’m very proud of him. I just hope Octavia doesn’t hate him for initiating the divorce.
NOTE: I didn't know that Bryce Pinkham was a professional singer. I just thought he was a regular actor. That's a opps from me lol

I think this is the first time he's wanted it, if what he says is anything to go by, but Stella refused to go and Stolas still wanted to keep things somewhat normal for Octavia. However he's reached his breaking point with her.
I think they filed the divorce, but never got it.
I think he waited until his heir became of age
I’m just glad to see that Stolas as the father and a victim of domestic abuse is standing up to his abusers and still trying to be a good Father. Men like that don’t get enough recognition because most people assume it’s always the Man’s fault.
Stolas's happy little laughs being owl hoots is adorable! And 8:59 "Don't bow to him, he bows to us!" ..Yet Stolas still bowed to Blitz in last episode.. ;w;
*Sad music* :'(
[Edit]: And in the part where you say "I'm the fool who believes when you look in my eyes" there he realizes that everything has been a lie and he calls himself a fool because he has believed everything that Blitzø said and did with him since it was only so that he could keep the book....
@@asmodemus1765 Ooooh shit, haven't heard that angle before. That is definitely something he'd notice.
It's because Stolas voice actor was crying
I heard somewhere that Stolas' voice actor wanted to do the whole song together in a single take, take 4 is what ended up in the episode, and he was indeed crying while singing.
@@zavodila9279 😭😭
To the people cringing over the mice, remember: Stolas is an OWL. 🦉
"Stolas doesn't need this perfect gorgeous voice."
Professional singer Bryce Pinkham in shambles.
@@WaryJester Its circus thing cuz before the clowns go in you can see that on other performers
@@olek2501 Preformers who also look like twins, and twins are hereditary. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm saying it's a theory and fun to speculate
@@WaryJester pretty sure it was confirmed that blitzø dated fizz
It's so sad, Stolas was stuck in an unhappy marriage with an terrible person and the one he was actually in love with was just using him for his book
I gen think blitz like him hes just scared of being abandon or just alone
Love how they commit to Stolas's eyes being glowing red lamps (complete with lense flare) with only occasional pupils.
The way Blitzø's father just sells him by nothing is sad but real. I've seen it so much
Part of me is thinking he did that so he could have blitzo go in and steal from them.
'Stapler' is a perfect name for an Office-themed race-horse....seven letters, as required by tradition.
Stolas's voice Bryce Pinkham is actually a professional broadway singer.
Those crystals in the book is another way to access the living world, usually used by succubi to go to earth, so stolas is possibly trying to sever ties with blitzo by giving him one.
This episode made me really appreciate stolas as a character with the terrible marriage that he’s been forced to endure on top of trying to give his daughter a normal happy life
Kids Stolas, Blitzø and Fizz are precious!
Someone translated the runes in the book and the Asmodeon Crystals are how Verosika and the other succubi and incubi got to the human world.
Exactly
@@pirobot668beta he would have cut the tail off too if that's what he wanted, I think it would make more sense if he got into an accident
I’ve seen this episode already and let me just say: *Stolas deserves better than this.*
Also Paimon (Stola’s Father)is also voiced by Jafar from Aladdin.
Don't forget that he also voices Blitz's dad, Cash Buckzo
I think Stolas first yelled out about getting a divorce because he was in the high of the new exciting moment, but he got more meek and hesitant about it when he calmed down (also, apparently Stella has a powerful brother she uses as a threat.)
Stolas’s first song was more clean cut because it was a lullaby for Via, but this song was much more raw feeling because it’s his emotions. I love the way they did that, the second song also felt like it cut back on the instrumentals and followed the song we heard in Dhorks when he breaks into the base.
they got unofficially divorced cause of statues ...(she will leave on the weekends but come back)
but now that he's so done with it he doesn't care anymore and willing to go public
(Who he notably smiled at when he went to check on her the night of the party.)
Blitz DID feel regret about stealing the Grim Moire from someone who trusted him and turned it into a “business” transaction.
(There’s a LOT of signs she did much more to Blitz to hurt him and he’s quiet about it.)
At the very least both are out of their toxic relationships and both will likely have to save each other from what remains of it.
"I thought there was gonna be some repercussions" "But you're not divorced? What happened?"
We don't have the full story yet, just Stolas'!
I'm really proud of my owl boy telling stella off
This episode is so sad because it completely reframed Stolas’ attachment to Blitzø as even more pathetic and desperate.
I think part of that is because Blitzø believes Stolas is just using him too.
22:17 The look on your face when Stella was about to hit stolas
truth is the missing episode was actually supose to be a silly one, and the previous episode waws the true ending of the season.
So there's a missing episode?
This was beautiful and tragic. I can’t wait to see Blitzø’s backstory.
Lucifer is confirmed to be a fallen angel, so she is part angel yeah
I find it funny how everyone thinks Stella is the worst of the worst for being abusive now, don't get me wrong, it's still bad, but there are far worse demons than her, Valentino and Alastor are a perfect example of being worse then her
Charlie is a Nephalem, Angel/Demon mix, not to be confused with Nephilim, which is Angel/Human mix.
What about Loona? I feel like she does have a heart deep down, but she just doesn’t like to show her emotions to others
In case people didn’t know, Paimon and Blitzo’s father were both voiced by Jafar from the Aladdin animated movies and ahow
17:00 the way that stolas reacts to blitz’s advances kinda shows him act kinda like a virgin with how innocent he responds to him
20:45 Remember the Lounger Owner with the sexy voice from the last episode? Those crystals allow his minions, employees?, to travel to the human realm to drain humans of their energy via sex. It's been heavily theorized that Stolas is going to give one of these gems to Blitzo so he won't need Stolas' Grimoire. And remember that sexy cowboy hitman from the 5th episode? Stella still has him retained to merc Stolas.
I'm guessing Stolas tried to divorce Stella but she would never sign any paperwork to spite him.
Or he was talked out of it
@@ALunarLight I think that's more likely. Cause even now I could still sew Stella not signing any paperwork. But if Andrealphus' opinions used to matter to Stolas than maybe he talked him out of it
both dad's to Stolas and Blitz are kind of heartless but they both have good points:
Stolas's father actually wanted to cheer him up (atleast for a while to stop him from being moppy) and he did see he enjoyed Blitz's joke and all so he was paying attention.
and as for Blitz's father, he realized how dirty it was for them to want to buy he's kid so he wanted to get the good from their family and wanted to help theirs.
grant it, they are still not great parents but something is better than nothing.
Lamanitis is a real thing that can cripple a horse (any creature that walks on hooves really) but it’s less that the legs “stop working” and more that the hoof layers separate, making every step extremely painful. There are ways to make it easier for the horse, but if it just can’t walk then they typically euthanize it
The detail to Stolis's character in the fashion that he's an owl. The noises, the anatomy (being able to twist his head)
Apparently, Laminitis is something exclusive to animals with hooves since it affects tissue found in the hoof and eating too much sugar can cause it. :O
for reference on the shows singer bryce is covered
but fizz and robofizz songs are performed by the broadway singer for beetlejuice
and ozzi's singer is the broadway singer for the genie in alladin and is the voice of tex
also verosika is voiced by the voice actress for miraculous ladybug
soooooo ummmmm yeahhhhhh
It's great you are feeling better, hope you fully recover soon 💖
FINALLY been waiting for your reaction for this one 💕
I always look forward to your videos after a new Helluva Boss episode
Me too!
Good for Stolas standing up for himself and say what he say to her for long time
I find it funny that Stolas says he has a good memory and then literally a minute later says he barely remembers Blitzø's name 🤣
It's been 25 years they met once that's a pretty good memory
I mean that is still good memory for after 25 years and he does remember his name correctly. Blitzø has just changed it since then lol
Stolas’s father being confused and saying there’s so fucking many makes sense cause owls mate for life and even often mate in the same nesting area
Stolas: "I'm so oooolllllld, life has passed me by and now there is nothing left but waiting for death!"
Is 35 out of immortal.
22:18 it's such an interesting detail how stolas' pupils come in as soon as he stands up against his wife. to my knowledge, i don't we've ever seen them pop out in this fashion.
We have. LooLoo Land. When he turned taht guy to stone. They come out in moments of intense emotion.

My favorite part about season 2 ep 1 so far is watching everybody get so unbearably uncomfortable during stolas and blitzø's reunion
2:05 "that sounds.... Terrifying"
Whelp, better that than being told I can be anything and not knowing what my purpose is, even in my mid 30's
Quick facts. High amounts of sugars in grasses can bring about laminitis in horses susceptible to the disease.

Stolas: YEEEEEEES
Zamber: NOOOOOO
i just had a thought. a theory about why blitz was sad in the last episode with looking at a picture of his mom, how fizz got robotic parts and why blitz has white scars on his face as an adult. why frizz blames blitz for everything. could it be blitz got caught but stolas doesn't know?
like maybe stolas dad brought hell down onto blitz family which caused so much disaster
OMG I'M FIRST HI ALL 😁
Edit:just finished watching and wow that ending scene felt so real vivzi pop and her crew really don't hold back
Glad to see you excited and back in action...
Stolas: "I am INTO this!"
Blitzo: "Uh oh."
lamenitis is actually even more terrifying than just "their legs stop working"
it specifically attacks the hoofes and makes them soften and loosen from the bone and if you let the illness progress without treatment the hooves can actually fall off, forcing the horse to stand on their actual bone- there is no saving the horse at that point
luckily it can be treated if noticed early through a rapid change in diet
horses at a farm I used to go to had lamenitis in the past and now their diet is very closely regulated and they are only allowed to eat gras and hay- no apples or carrots, not even as an occasional treat. The only treats they can get are hay pellets. Like this though, they can still live a healthy, happy life
Though this is one of many reasons why you should *never* feed random horses.
I always liked the “cool aunt” vibe you give off.
"the morning after" real fast
Zamber no encounter that was really only about the money ever lasted until the morning after
Correct me if I am wrong but Stolas is wearing the same outfit from S1E7 so I am pretty sure this last scene happens right after Stolas was dropped off.
I agree with your opinion on the song, the imperfection are not bad, made me think of the song eternity with you in adventure time where the voice is crackled but it's still somehow good.
I love your reactions! I first started watching your videos when you watched Steven Universe.
Anybody notice: the creature Olivia is strangling in that photo is the same creature that dragged Milly off in the end of the LooLooLand episode.
I wonder does Stolas have a bite mark on his neck from where Blitz bit him?
