Yeah, S2 did a great job laying the groundwork for Blitzo working on himself and I hope that continues in S3. Now I just hope S3 gives Stolas the same treatment. He's overdue on being held to task for the ways he's bad at communicating with and treating people.

I don't know why people keep saying that. Kissing isn't always sexual, it's a classic sign of love. They kissed earlier as well and it was just a loving gesture, not a sexual show. The hug just felt more symbolic that these two won't last

This is literally so worth my 4ish years of watching this show. I’ve loved this show so much and this feels like the cherry on top. I’m so damn happy this show succeed and got to this point.
Best part is, this season was written back in in 2020 when the show first came out. Arguably the worst time for everyone who was working on projects at the time and they still did THIS well. So now with all the feedback , funding through TH-cam revenue, and time spend waiting for animation to catch up... they have so much more going for them now than they did back then. Long story short, if season 1 & 2 did this well despite all that. Season 3 &4 are gonna mind blowing.

They are so sensual during this song, their looks, their touches, Blitz's hugs and how he carefully addresses Stolas after all the events. Their dance is so gentle, and Stolas's laughter in their dance is simply charming.

their [stolitz] whole scene together, dancing to this song playing in the background has to be one of if not my favorite scene in the entire show. it may be because i am a huge stolitz fan, but mannn - the gentleness between them, the feels, the vibes, stolas’s little laugh, UGH! it’s so good.😭 they need eachother more than ever and here we are .. these last few months have been a rollercoaster but we (atleast i) got the ending we so desired to season two 🥲 i love them and these two will forever have a special place in my heart
The magical dance between Stolas and Blitzø is a nice endgame to the rise, the downfall, and the rebirth of Stolitz. They went from horny lovebirds, to having a breaking up, only to get back to becoming lovebirds again, but this time, in a healthy way as a way to turn over a new leaf.
I can’t describe the way this song makes me feel. It’s nostalgic, in the way that Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby are nostalgic. The lyrics are heartfelt and tender, and honestly I would say some of the best written in the series so far. I would genuinely place this song AND this episode up there with the rest of the actual Christmas classics.
Stolas and Blitzø's dance to this song is my favorite scene from this series. For all the amazingly animated and choreographed battle scenes, for all the comedy and other heartfelt moments, this is peak to me.

All of us are thinking the same thing. A comedic show about devils and imps trying to live their lives ended up ironically being the most Christian show we all never knew we needed. It just gives us a sense of hope even in the great beyond. What a fantastic show! Asking all kinds of questions that we were always too afraid to ask, and I like how it's not trying to be sardonic with it's theming, but actually genuine. You really feel like "Even if I sin and end up in Hell.... I don't have to feel like all is lost as long as types like Blitz are around."
I always appreciate a 'clean' version of all these songs. Not that I don't appreciate a little violence, but it can be hard to hear music over the screams and explosions, so this is nice to have.

I was just thinking when I was rewatching it just now, I love how much every character is moving all the time in every shot. Something is always happening in every shot (think of Blitz moving so much he even grabs his plate off of the table when they're having breakfast, or the imp getting angry that Stolas is dumping all of his tried on clothes at the clothing store). Thats the old fashioned way of animating that has been getting lost in this past era of digital animation with clip/flash. SpindleHorse is setting the standard back where it should be and I love that so much
@@kirusha_kirgua I was thinking that because he's been off of his anti depressants he is very emotionally unbalanced, and we see that throughout the episode. He can't help his depression and it is now aimed at his disconnection with Via, and he's trying to enjoy his time with Blitz but he's only able to manage sparks here and there. Maybe writing his fantasies actually helps, becuase he's still longing for that kind of closeness and its the one thing that doesn't confuse him or cause him distraught. It gets it out of his system. I think thats why he kisses Blitz for the first time since episode 6 of season 1, becuase he had such a big spark of emotion when Blitz showed how much he cared that he felt right to be intimate at all with him once again, and yet later he is reluctant to do so again. Not to mention his depression grew into sorrow and such tremendous pain when Octavia out right shut him out. She has no faith in him, and so he has lost everything he held the most dear, and he is lower than he has ever been. Even if only hours ago he was fantasizing being with Blitz and even kissed him, whether in vain or for real for the first time, he is still in such a wrecked state that he just cannot embrace another like that, he just can't.
I love this song so much, it gets me in the feels and makes me shed a tear! And with lyrics such as "I loved you then, I love you still" and "I would travel through every ring of Hell" are beautiful. The whole episode and these songs featured in the episode are truly lovely and heartwarming. Great present to all of us Vivziepop fans for the holidays back in December, thank you Vivienne!

I usually don't like Christmas songs, they seem (in my opinion) very repetitive and have unoriginal lyrics, but this...THIS...THIS is the most beautiful Christmas song I have ever heard in my entire life. The magical dance between Stolas and Blitzø is a nice endgame to the rise, the downfall, and the rebirth of Stolitz. They went from horny lovebirds, to having a breaking up, only to get back to becoming lovebirds again, but this time, in a healthy way as a way to turn over a new leaf.

I can’t describe the way this song makes me feel. It’s nostalgic, in the way that Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby are nostalgic. The lyrics are heartfelt and tender, and honestly I would say some of the best written in the series so far. I would genuinely place this song AND this episode up there with the rest of the actual Christmas classics.
The line:" I would travel every ring of hell just to see if you'll be mine" is such a powerful line an it gets me every time.

All of us are thinking the same thing. A comedic show about devils and imps trying to live their lives ended up ironically being the most Christian show we all never knew we needed. It just gives us a sense of hope even in the great beyond. What a fantastic show! Asking all kinds of questions that we were always too afraid to ask, and I like how it's not trying to be sardonic with it's theming, but actually genuine. You really feel like "Even if I sin and end up in Hell.... I don't have to feel like all is lost as long as types like Blitz are around."
It was a very subtle hint but the way they were looking at each other's lips before they gave each other a hug at the end was so romantic and cute❤

I was just thinking when I was rewatching it just now, I love how much every character is moving all the time in every shot. Something is always happening in every shot (think of Blitz moving so much he even grabs his plate off of the table when they're having breakfast, or the imp getting angry that Stolas is dumping all of his tried on clothes at the clothing store). Thats the old fashioned way of animating that has been getting lost in this past era of digital animation with clip/flash. SpindleHorse is setting the standard back where it should be and I love that so much
@@kirusha_kirgua I was thinking that because he's been off of his anti depressants he is very emotionally unbalanced, and we see that throughout the episode. He can't help his depression and it is now aimed at his disconnection with Via, and he's trying to enjoy his time with Blitz but he's only able to manage sparks here and there. Maybe writing his fantasies actually helps, becuase he's still longing for that kind of closeness and its the one thing that doesn't confuse him or cause him distraught. It gets it out of his system. I think thats why he kisses Blitz for the first time since episode 6 of season 1, becuase he had such a big spark of emotion when Blitz showed how much he cared that he felt right to be intimate at all with him once again, and yet later he is reluctant to do so again. Not to mention his depression grew into sorrow and such tremendous pain when Octavia out right shut him out. She has no faith in him, and so he has lost everything he held the most dear, and he is lower than he has ever been. Even if only hours ago he was fantasizing being with Blitz and even kissed him, whether in vain or for real for the first time, he is still in such a wrecked state that he just cannot embrace another like that, he just can't.
Hands down one of the best songs of the series.

i usually don’t comment but this song is already engraved in my brain. stolas and blitzø’s dance to this song (and their conversation before that) are definitely my new favorite scenes from this episode of not from the whole show. on apology tour we had blitzø saying “we don’t do words, we do s*x” so to see their growth together, actually trying to communicate and comfort each other and being able to be physical, like the dance and the hug, without the need of it to be s*xual is such a development for them
