KESHA was an inspiration for one of Vivzie's first big videos... So having the artist herself voicing a demon lord on the first season ending of Helluva Boss is actually pretty huge.

I love how Bee despite being the Demon of Gluttony, isn't mad at Blitzo for stealing attention from her party but she's more concerned cause she can tell he's gorging out of depression rather than genuinely enjoying it. Especially when how she and Tex are the first ones who can tell how bad his coping mechanism is.
Well can we just say that Rochelle Diamante did an amazing job singing Cotten candy, I hope she gets recognition because she did a great job and did sound like Kesha, fooled me, lol.

I know, right? The first time I watched the episode, I was looking through the comments when the song started and noticed someone’s comment about how Kesha was in the episode, and I was like “oh yeah, that does sound like her singing this.” It wasn’t until after I finished the episode and read more of the comments that I realized she didn’t actually sing it.

Two things about this episode:
1. Loona calling Blitzø dad is one of the most wholesome things ever. I'm glad she finally allowing herself to admit she saw him as her father.
2. It's honestly shocking but refreshing how Bee is actually rather empathetic instead of being just another antagonist. Her personality tells you she might be bratty and stuff but no, stan Bee!
Love this episode.
I think the reason she called him dad was to give him a little mood boost, to chug the alcohol better, and obviously to brag that the party animal chugging bottles of alcohol is her dad. Sure she is warming up to Blitz, but at that moment I believe it was mostly just to give him a little push to chug more.

I didn’t notice this before but upon rewatching it I noticed that when Bee transforms into a giant to threaten Loona, after Loona backs down and walks away, just before returning to normal size, just for a split second Bee’s facial expression Immediately changes from one of anger to one of sadness and looks like she is genuinely concerned for Loona and it is implied that she immediately deduces that the only reason why Loona lashed out at her was because she’s probably going through something and the way Bee immediately picks up on that gives the implication that she felt guilty for using her powers in a heated spur of the moment to intimidate Loona after correctly suspecting that Loona is genuinely going through some serious issues and Bee upon realizing her error for overreacting, immediately tries to save face in front of her boyfriend Vortex, probably because she feels foolish for letting her emotions get the better of her after she suspected what was really going on with Loona during that situation which is further implied that Bee knows that something is going on with them judging by Bee’s final comment in the episode ”I hope everything works out.”
I love that Bee isnt just hot, but shes genuinley really nice! She tried to help Loona feel included, she took her loss to Blitzø like a champ, and she was actually concerned when he over did it and wanted to help. Shes just a hyper extrovert who loves to throw parties so people can have a great time. And the fact that shes voiced by Kesha is just the cherry on top! I absolutely ADORE her!

Can I just say that the representation of the gluttony circle being a bee inspired character is genius?
Not only because of honey since she's the gluttony sin, but also because BEELZEBUB is the full name.
Bee is so chill, like I understand how Loona is interpreting what she's saying as sarcastic when its really not- Loona just has too many walls, and the fact she's with Tex probably doesn't help. But Bee is genuinely a breath of fresh air, not only is her design just AMAZING and so cool and creative, her personality is great, charming and genuinely concerned about other's wellbeing in a deeper way than just keeping her party alive.
When it comes to the demon princes we've seen so far, Bee's easily the most chill and funnest so far. Really nice change of pace from all the stuck-up royals we've gotten. Girl's not even the slightest bit ashamed to be open with dating essentially a lower-rank demon.
I imagine a few of the reasons people don’t care about her and tex as much as stolas are 1. She is literally gluttony it’s kinda her entire deal to indulge in anything and everything and 2 she is definitely in some way related to the hellhounds since they originate from her realm (apparently she’s a fox bee rather than specifically hellhound but it’s still close enough) so it’s a lot more acceptable I would be genuinely surprised if satan didn’t have some resemblance to the imps for example
I actually liked how she wasn’t the stereotypical mean girl who’s got the "Oh you like my bf well to bad he’s mine" sickness. It’s to overdone. She was just a genuinely outgoing person.

and if Loona wasn't so defensive she might have suggested a threeway; which would be awkward if the fan theory is true that Beelzebub is somehow her mother *her name is on the adoption form* but we have no more evidence that's the parent or if for some reason her name is on all the Hellhound adoption forms *granted that later seems weird that she would sign her name on every single Hellhound adoption paper*.

I love that we finally get a new character, one of the deadly sins no less, who didn't turn out to be an a***ole. And it's even more awesome that Vivziepop got her favorite singer, Kesha to voice Beelzebub. She has a great design, too. All that alone was definitely worth the wait.

Asmodeus was not an asshole either. He was exceptionally patient with moxxie when he really didnt need to, he was approving of stolas behavior, and overall just a good host for his establishment. It was fizz who was mean, the crowd who reacted negativley to stolas, and overall blitz's personality that caused most of the drama in Ozzie's. Overall, i think Asmodeus is very misunderstood. He may not be as overtly nice as Bee was, but he was still very supportive and overall trying to keep a good vibe for his club.
Kesha isnt actually the one singing but she does the specking role in the credits it says performed by and then the singers name
They actually got KESHA FLIPPING KESHA and made her a literal party wolf befitting her and song that matches her in everyway possible, bonus for Loona showing her softer side.
That was actually a really good episode. It balanced the right amount of jokes with the right amount of seriousness. I also liked bees character and her sinking was amazing.
I honestly don't know why people were complaining about her design. She still has enough bee like elements that you get she's insect themed without having to be a literal bee.
We are at this weird phase of aware how media has influence on politics and social hierarchy but we also apply these rules on individual art styles, i dunno
People also hate that she isnt fat cause obviously "fat is bad" and stuff like ugh. Gluttony is more than over eating food people!!!

ya I mean I think it just culture shock but honestly, they still kept the story of the sin and the story behind it with vizis more modern take I think thats a good change Cuse like it is her universe and the designs stem from the original lore.
Bee-Lzebub was right about being what we want.

This episode was worth the wait. Great seeing a Loona centric episode showing more depth to her already amazing character, Bee has an awesome design and definitely has more layers than one would expect, Vortex is a genuinely chill and cool dude who is a good friend to Loona, and Blitzø proves once again that he's a good father to Loona and also the ultimate party animal.
This is Helluva Boss at its finest. And as a massive Loona fan, this episode is probably my new favorite. Thank you Vivziepop and Erica Lindbeck for giving so much love and life to my favorite Hellhound!
I noticed Loona looked at Vortex when she got Bee to go "Spicy" like... "oh crap, I embarrassed my crush/the person who invited me. That might make him look kinda bad..." and then went to check on blitzø

Fun fact: Blitzo's apartment has only one bedroom and he gave it to Loona. It looks like sleeping on the sofa is normal for him.
Or it's like Charlie Kelly's apartment and there are more rooms than Blitz knows about like Frank didn't despite living there for almost 20 years. As revealed in the Season 16 premiere for Always Sunny. Or Blitz knows and just prefers to sleep on the coach. Like Charlie.

I think blitz being there really helped Luna relax and get to know people. Cause at first Luna was clearly hoping Tex would be the safe corner, but being around his girlfriend was really overwhelming. So having her dad there gave her a safer point of connection to the party, so she stopped feeling like an outsider. It made a lot of sense to me. And it’s kind of sweet
It was truly a gag that Vortex’s gf ended up being a ruler of one of the rings like damn💀.
It's like Tex isn't just cool but literally dating Hell's party goddess.

I have a suspicion you’re gonna absolutely LOVE Queen Bee.
Luna is so real for her struggles at social interaction, the moment people payed attention to her was when blitz Showed up.
She saw the opportunity to break that ice with these people with blitz. And she actually did gain some friends ✨ but Blitz is not okay. But at least she took care of him after some talking from Bee and Tex that his overindulgence vibe is Self-destruction.
Also Luna has a Crush on Tex no doubt about it, But she wanna respect his relationship and keep him as a Friend
As to why she didn’t go wild and start a Fight With Queen Bee.
Her character is growing she is becoming a people person ✨

Yeah, just so you're aware of how nuts it is that Bee's Tex's girlfriend, Bee is short for Beelzebub, aka the Demonic Prince of Gluttony. Dude literally snatched a ruler one of the seven rings of Hell!
Girl, I can never get enough of this show!! What a fantastic time. I love the little bits of development we're getting, with Loona trying to make friends and finally calling Blitzø "Dad" like that melted my heart. ❤ Meanwhile, Blitzø finally acknowledging his own loneliness and drunkenly mentioning Stolas, showing that he's actually invested in him? Delicious. Love it. I need more! The show is finally moving towards developing all the narratives that have been set up, and I gotta have more.
Kesha is the voice actress but not the singer. The singer is actually Rochelle Diamante. It's honestly kinda surprising how similar they sound. Also yes I absolutely love this character. She's kinda perky but really friendly and outgoing. I really wouldn't mind a friend like that. 😁
Fizz saying Blitz is gonna die alone, was either from his truth gas trip from Truth Seekers...or that was a memory of the conversation the two had when their friendship ended.

Viv creates one of the best designs she ever made... and some people still dont like it. Why? Its beautifull, fennec fox combined with bee or fly with liquid hair and tail and those colors... light cyan and pink like osmodius with yellow/orange that gives it bee theme.
Tex and Bee are so cute together, I mean come on the two a pretty great together

I love how Bee is all about encouraging over indulgement but also makes sure that when you do over indulge you are doing it out of fun. While she wants people to party hard and get fked up she doesn't want them to do it because of the wrong reasons.
Loona reminds me of my little sister, she doesn't like being in public as well; especially parties.
She even has a t-shirt that reads "I'm Just Here for the Food"

I just realized, that punch bowl at 9:12 might be a sangria maybe? I'm not entirely sure how much stuff you're supposed to put in a sangria but that does seem like a lot, furthering the 'too much of something' idea of gluttony. And then also I think citrus masks the flavor of alcohol so you also might not even realize you're getting drunk with enough fruit
And Queen B is hands down probably my single favorite character design this show has made so far. And she has a fun character to match. Someone who's a party animal and actually a pretty sweet girl despite being the embodiment of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Not to mention a great musical number. Nice to see Loona actually getting along with other people too (albeit with some hurdles) and I found it weirdly cute when she held onto her tail when she was nervous. It's always great to see more emotional range out of her.
Also, I noticed the name Hunter Braly in the credits. Is he related to Matt Braly by any chance?
I think Bee is my favorite character we’ve met. She’s just so funny and seems like a genuine person. Really hope we get more of her!
Amazing episode! I'm glad Loona made friends and good on her for trying to socialize. Gave me myself vibes when she wanted to leave. Everything about Bee was amazing, Tex staying by Loona trying to make sure she had a good time was comforting. Surprisingly a lot of Hellhounds and Imps were nice and inviting. I loved how both of them cared enough for Loona to check on Blitzø without being bitchy. Loona was just on auto defense mode.
It is crazy that Bee is dating Vortex. I would like to know about the relationship of how those two met. Vomit aside, I do feel like the ending is just as sad as episode 7. Blitz was always the rough n' tumble of I.M.P. but see him just break down like this gets really heartbreaking.
Tex was just thos random bodyguard side character Luna fell in love with for a mini plot in the Veronica episode and his girlfriend is one of the seven leaders and Most powerful demons😅
It's like he went from "cool dude" to "Supernatural chosen one of cool"
I love how they portray Gluttony. Like it's not just overeating. It's overconsumption and indulgences. "I'm what you want, not what you need", and Bee's personality and how her and the Gluttony ring is portrayed with the party atmosphere is perfect for that.
Loona may of though she had an in with Blitzo after she found out people there knew him. I can relate as I'm that way at parties, standing off to the side if I don't really know anybody. It can be difficult to insert yourself into existing friend groups. Being attached to her father gave her more confidence and it is something people might talk to her about.
Plus another hellhound said she was pretty. Tex was the only person she knew at that party, at least in a positive light, but felt she couldn't compete with his girlfriend for his attention.

You're the first reaction I've seen pick up on the thematic consistency of using Cotton Candy as the main food for the song.
One detail I like about Bee is that we see her pushing the indulgences on everybody that is probably a regular at her parties, like making the taco bigger and shoving it in their face, making drinks bigger and pouring them down their throats, but as she's wrapping up her first meeting with Loona, she just slightly raises Loona's cup toward her, but doesn't make it bigger or shove it in her face. I take that as not wanting to pressure Loona into going hard to fit in, but to just take the party at her own pace, and I really like that.

I love how this part of the finale was the total opposite of part 1 in terms of the vibes of Bee and Ozzie. They both want people to indulge in their respective sins, but while Bee gives off such a positive and friendly aura; Ozzie gives off a sinister and salty feeling. And it’s funny because the voice of Tex is Ozzie so I kind of want to hear a mashup of Ozzie and Bee’s songs. Hearing a duet between Tex and Bee would be amazing to hear.
I also enjoyed how much more friendly Tex is now that he and Loona are friends after his debut in the 3rd episode. I continue to simp for that hellhound hottie.
It is amazing that Viziepop and Brandon were able to get Ke$ha to guest voice as the queen of gluttony. And that Rochelle is a good singing voice to replicate Ke$ha’s singing voice. After that whole legal issue that Ke$ha has been through, I’m happy that it was resolved (and that it led to us seeing that episode)
I actually really like how Gluttony was interpreted as not just food here, but as conspicuous consumption. When you're indulging not out of need and not necessarily always out of desire, but as a social thing. Like a status symbol. Food's a part of it, like Bee raining sweets down, but it's more like when you consume a lot - food, alcohol, whatever - to be with the 'in' crowd, to show off, or just to enjoy being able to do it.
Also. I've noticed that our girl bee is a raging pansexual. Which won me over. Her colour pallete is a dead give away an her character hit me so hard 😂❤
I still love how at 9:20 you can see Luna saying "what the fuck?"

You have much better hearing than me, jesus! I watched this episode i dunno how many times but it took you mentioning Blitz saying Stolas for me to listen in closely and hearing him mumbling "Millie... Moxxie... Stolas..." and god that just broke my heart even more.
We’ve all felt the same way as Loona in this episode in regards to feeling out of place at a party especially for introverted people who aren’t used to being in environments like that
Also side note I was not expecting Bee to be a descent person in how she treats her guests at parties, I can honestly see her and Loona eventually being best friends
When I first watched the episode I couldn't fully vibe with cotton candy cause I was waiting for the sick turn but when it was revealed she's actually just a good person I fully got into it
It kind of makes sense that Bee (Beelzebub) likes to hang out with hellhounds of all people.
Dogs don't feel full, they're always hungry. They will keep eating if you let them. If you look at it that way, the hellhounds best symbolize gluttony. So the statement "what you want, not what you need" is also apt with the hellhounds.
First Charlie, then Ozzi and now Bee-lzebub. I love how colorful, cheerful and down to earth the 7 Deadly's we've seen so far are (and yes, I'm aware Charlie isn't a Sin herself, but she is the daughter of one).
It's pretty much the opposit to how stiff and poshy most Goetia demons are.

I love how they portray the sin of Gluttony here. Everyone boils it down to overeating when that's only a small part of it. Gluttony can be summed up as the over indulgence of one's pleasures and desires at the expense of everything else. That's why Bee is all about sweets, drugs and alcohol: they're all things that taste/feel good but lack any real substance, and can cause major problems if consumed in excess.
Yeah vivsie had to actually address so many complaints about beezlebubs design, people saying she was too skinny, too much going on, too complicated, not close enough to the actual beezlebub..... Kinda upsetting how much people complain, I love her
Also why ARE people mad she isn’t plus sized? Kinda icky to want to portray gluttony that way as if every fat person is just “gluttonous”

Bee gives off a bit of a hummingbird vibe; like she's so high energy she needs to be feeding constantly.
If you don’t know, bee is short for Beelzebub, the ruler of Gluttony and the Gluttony ring and Belphegor is the ruler of sloth and the ring of sloth.
I sure hope we get to see Bel soon.
I like how Bee isn’t necessarily a mean girl. She’s just super extroverted to the point where she’s rude. But when she does say messed up things she doesn’t really mean it in a rude way.
Man Tex dating a Prince of Hell....man Bee is both cool and if she want intimidating.....Gluttony looks cool! Thus ep was worth the 2 year wait and man Loona finally got her episode with Blitz.....the song is nice and Hellhounds galore!
Bee is pure adorkable and I love it.
It's so awesome that they hired Kesha for an episode, I remember a long time ago when Vivzipop made the "Die Young" music video animation so it seems like it really inspired this episode. She even looks similar to the wolf character in the old animation. She's actually kinda wholesome so far too for a ruler of a ring of hell, not to mention Kesha is SUCH a good voice actor. 💯 (And dont think i didnt see the "Mean girls" reference in here too.)

Actually, Ke$ha wrote Cotton Candy but the voice actor and singer cast is Rochelle Diamante. It was supposed to be Ke$ha but its not her voice talking or singing, it is Rochelle Diamante. She sounds very similar but look up the cast for Bee and it will tell you it is Rochelle Diamante playing as her.
I love how there just so happened to be a hunky Alejandro standing nearby when Blitz demanded one 😂

I feel like Bee's song especially at the "I'm what you want but not what you need" is why she was worried for Blitz cuz she can feel he is using the party to plug or put his problems at the back which isn't good for anyone.
You deserve the praise, for liking and understanding the character of 'Bee' and secondly for recognising who she's, I enjoyed your reaction, keep it up

I'm still surprised that Vortex's girlfriend to be a demon royal, he is dating Beelzebub, the Queen of Gluttony. Kind of contrasts a bit with Blitz dating Stolas, a demon prince as well.

they "had" Kesha.... they re-did the song will a close substitute Rochelle Diamante, the non-singing lines are Kesha and the Song is co-written by Kesha
Is interesting how queen bee was immediately aware of blitz being in a bad spot.
Even before she looked at vortex concerned,you can see that in the moment blitz was drinking straight up,she actually stopped drinking to look at him worried.
And meanwhile vortex also looked at blitz and then to bee.
Another detail is blitz saying he needs a Monica or Alejandro. (Being Alejandro a character from 'hella novela')
That means not only that blitz watches the same show that stollas.
But that he has this toxic behavior of getting involved with people either not fully available or in relationships that he knows ain't gonna work.
I think Beelzebub has a really solid design, and I totally agree with your stance on gluttony being about over indulgence over just simply over eating, which can of course be a part of it too. I love the queen bee theme but can also appreciate the Vivziepop style touch with her being hound themed according to her ring's hellborn species. Gluttony was represented very well and I cannot WAIT until we see Mammon🃏💸

I was wondering why Loona was so uncomfortable at the party and after some thinkig I think it's because she is an agressive drunk and didn't want to embarres herself in front of Tex, probably the first hellhound who was so nice to her. Hear me out, we know Luna is an adult, around 25 I think, and starting from her first appearance in the pilot we know she indulges in drinking an to sprinkle on top her angre issues after drinking too much she gets out of controll in a scary way. After meating Tex and, probably, chating with him she doesn't want him to see that side of her.
Looking at the conversation Loona had with that poodle, it's obvies she is not proud of that part of herself. Hell, she probably didn't drink alchohol for the entierty of the party. But at the end we see her make some possible friends, it's so nice to see her getting out of her shell

When I discovered Bee was among the seven rulers of hell, **Bee**lezub the Devil of gluttony, I got unnecessarily excited. As we know so far, she’s only among the two of seven revealed so far, the other being Asmodeus! And I adore her!
I love how compasive is beelzebuh with loona and blitz a great upgrape compareted with asmodeus.( if you don't notice it beelzebuh is the deadly sin of gluttony )
I like how you fully understood the concept behind Bee in this, I feel like a lot of people didn't get that and constantly complain about her being this skinny insectoid Hellhound and not a fat bee that's just with the eating
Personally this episode fixed all my problems with the show, most at least. Hopefully more of the conflicts become actually relevant instead of being a one off episode that doesn't come back until an entire season later.

She feeds off vibes. I think she genuinely wants to cultivate good feelings (even if it’s for her own selfish ends producing intoxicating Beelzejuice) but she’s still Beelzebub, Gluttony, Lord of the Flies.
She’s part of Mammon’s camp, she wants to make a Heaven out of Hell, and she’ll stuff you full of fluff and artificial happiness reaching for that light because she does NOT. DO. DOWNERS.
Still, this episode was the counterpoint to Ozzie’s. Asmodeus’ version of indulgence is selfish, reveling in taking and losing. Beelzebub is all about giving. Encouraging. A feedback loop of reaching for the high. When you’ve been deprived of, or deprive yourself of pleasure, like Loona has, there’s nothing wrong with getting a little more cotton candy in your life.
Zamber is the sweetest and brightest TH-camr for me, despite the fact that I do not understand English well. At the same time, she remembers the previous events of the show that she watches, and this is an additional and very significant plus. I adore you!!

Rochelle Diamante sung Cotton Candy but Kesha wrote the song. Kesha voiced Bee though. Incase everyone doesn't know.
Short answer: the delay was due to Kesha, but not because she voices Bee.
She was under contract for more albums, and she WROTE Cotton Candy. The only saving grace as i understand it, is because she didn't sing herself. It was held up in litigation until recently.
A similar sitch happened with Michael Jackson and the Simpsons.
i really like how you worded yourself and your opinion about the gluttony part, i very much agree, because gluttony isnt just about consuming food and a persons weight being tied to it. I really agree too about your main point of it, about it not just being about food anymore but the fact that now in modern times, gluttony is tied to over-indulgence in pretty much anything and everything, maybe both or just 1 over the other and how its shown in the episode. Granted, gluttony has always meant over-indulgence, but in medieval times its not like they had smartphones, video games, and pretty much everyone being in a state of poverty or something other, EXCEPT for nobles. This was a time when salt was worth more than gold, so it makes sense for the imagery of gluttony to be food related, nowadays not anymore. Maybe some points here are bit off, but the general idea is there!
Feels like a safe bet that the delays were about trying (and seemingly failing) to get Kesha to provide the singing voice as well as the speaking voice
Apparently she did sing cotton candy, but they couldn’t use it in the episode for copyright reasons
