- Family members can be added to the application at any time during the process, including after the visa is issued, but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. Applicants are instructed to inform IRCC immediately if their family composition has changed (e.g., the birth of a child, marriage, divorce).
If you get married after submission of your PR application and inform IRCC to add your spouse, this does not impact your CRS scores and your scores will not be recalculated.
Your spouse DOES NOT NEED IELTS or ECA for their education

i recevied my copr.. got married.. informed ircc.. waited patiently.. went through the whole process of updating my application.. and 8 months later my wife and i received our copr.. only to find my marital status showing single! but my wife is added as a dependent in my copr and her copr shows married.. i wrote back to ircc and now again the game of waiting begins..
What if you forgot to update your marital status to married and received a PNP nomination.
What if during the PR process, let’s say mom(pregnant) dad and first child, but second baby born after PR?
Mr. Khubair , one of my friends has divorced with 2 kids , he married new wife and she is the main applicant doesn’t have kids and he the second applicant , the question is the proof of funds for the main applicant will be for 2 person ( wife + husband only) or it will be for 5 and he hasn’t intention to bring his kids from the first wife to Canada

thank you & God bless you for this video you shared. I have a perculiar situation. I recieved my PPR on the 17/5/2022. I declared that I was traditionally married via a webform on 21/5/2022 but my court wedding was on the 6th of June 2022. I didn't get a response and ignorantly I travelled to Canada on the 2/09/2022. I was however stopped at the border when I was asked if I was married and I replied yes. The officer said the webform I filled on the 21/05/2022 has not been reflected yet. I was given two options. To either withdraw my application or be excluded from Canada. I withdrew my application. When I got back home on the 7th Sept. 2022, I recieved a message of an update in my application portal. The update was that the initial 'Approved' has been changed to 'Processing'. How would you advise me to proceed at this point Sir?

Hi sir.. I am the primary applicant with my husband and child. I recieved my PPR but I am pregnant and doctor has adviced its not safe to travel. We are planning the birth in our homecountry after which we have 3 months for our medical expiry. I am not sure what to do. Send passports and inform IRCC or send passports and not to inform until the baby is born.

Have informed the ircc regarding the same. Confusion is i have gotten 30 days to submit my passport. Should I submit my passport or wait?
Submit n get it stamped while they send you application kit. You can then send it later again to get the old visa cancelled and new one stamped once ur spouse is added

It’s the case of divorced person with child living with mother. The person has already submitted the affidavit regarding not to sponsor child in the future. But, Ircc asked for the medical of a child which is not possible right now because of no contact with the mother. Can he send same affidavit again??

Raise a webform and inform IRCC that you are expecting and can not travel. Once the baby is born then inform IRCC and follow the application kit for adding your baby to your application

In case of a child gotten outside wedlock and the child is not available for medical because the child’s mother refuse to cooperate,what can one do? Especially when you have added the child to the other available children in the application .
Have to provide detailed explanation with an affidavit stating you will not sponsor that child.

Thanks for this video. I disclosed based on the content in the request letter and also sent my passport and now they're requesting me to add my spouse to the application. They already have my passport for over a month and I'm worried this will further delay my passport delivery until the entire application for the spouse is completed. Sir, how about in my case, I have stated in my appliction that my husband is non accompanying because no passport yet IRCC still request his biometrics but me the principal applicant no biometrics request? And my big problem is my husband is not cooperative he doesn't wants to go through all the process like obtaining passport and getting biometrics because he is not willing to come with me to Canada as he is now living with other woman. Hello sir, I just wanted to ask what if the ircc doesn't reply to your webform despite of raising it three times to update my marrital status? I got married 7 months back. Informed Ircc, got application kit few days later. Filled up the kit and had send 4 months back but still I can't see my spouse in my portal. I got remedical request only for me. My guess is they haven't acknowledged my application kit.
If you have provided them the documents as per application kit then they will process it. You can not see everything about ur application in the portal account. Just need to have patience and wait for the processing to complete

Hello sir, kindly advise. I got Ready For Visa email 7th July 2022, I sent out Passports to VFS on the 20th July, wife put to bed 7th August, 2022, I informed via CSE immediately but no response. COPR confirmation received 23rd August 2022. I did a reminder CSE+ evidence of payment of PR Application Fee for the new born in September 02. I bought flight ticket for me and two kids to LANDING 3rd Oct. I received an acknowledgement mail to disregard previous READY FOR VISA EMAIL while they are in the process of adding a new born. I am confused. A word of advice will do.

@@fanaticfaiz3699we sent our passports and got COPR (without kid). After they completed the kid application, IRCC cancelled our COPR and made another one with the kid.
Hello sir, i am an online express entry applicant. i got married after receiving COPR and I have not yet landed in Canada. I have raised multiple webforms to inform IRCC regarding the change in my family composition and to get my spouse added to my application. I have received a single response - "Since a final decision was already made on your application, the information you provided will not be added to your file"

Thank you so much for you informative video. I have a quick question on my situation. I have applied for PR under EE in July 2021 as a single applicant. Then I came to India and got married in April 2022. On June 07, 2022 I received Passport Pickup email and the moment I received it, I immediately informed the IRCC through web form and shared my marriage certificate. But I received a COPR with Martial status as "Single".
I have generated a web form to IRCC and emailed to New Delhi, High Commission of Canada to get some resolution. What should I do next? is there any chance that Landing officer at POE will fix this error and allow me to enter?
Note: My husband is already a PR in Canada and he got his PR as a single applicant.

@@sarindersingh3670 yeah. I did travel with the same copr and was not questioned anything at the borders. It was just I had proof of the webforms that I generated about my status change and I got reply for these. If you circumstances are exact similar, it should be ok. Provided you and your partner had the pr approvals as an independent person. Gud luck 👍🏻

Because I haven’t updated yet because some people are saying that u shud have updated within a month of ur marriage otherwise there will be mis representation of your status and they might revoke your PR CARD
@@sarindersingh3670 yeah I did inform ircc and all other govt platforms about the change. Ircc was informed as well and the status was changed on their systems. I believe you should have informed ircc to be on a safer note. Rest try consulting an immigration lawyer, they can guide you more.
Hi Gianjot, Have you started the process to add your spouse under spousal sponsorship? We are in the same situation. Informed IRCC about status change, but received only am acknowledgement. No spouse verification was done. But the COPR says you should not enter without spouse verification. We don't know what to do
Hi sir, i am really confused with my PR process. I got my AINP in rural renewal stream this month and getting ready to submit everything in PR portal (non- express entry) and i am now 4 month pregnant with twins. Do i have to tell IRCC about my pregnancy and due date 1st September.
Second thing I declare my husband in AINP and also accompanying in PR profile now. I will be unemployed and on maternity leave by the time IRCC will open my file. I have upfront medical completed and PCC clear. Will this gonna effect my PR decision.

Hi Kubeir.. I received an email to submit my passport for stamping 5 days back. I will be getting my court marriage done in 10 days. I would like to know if I should wait for 10 days, get married and add my spouse to my application or should I send my passport for stamping and later add my spouse?

Raise a webform again after a week and meanwhile prepare the required documents for immediate submission when you do hear back from IRCC

I have just received my Passport request and have 30 days to submit but I am getting court married in september. If i get my passport stamped now, is there a way to apply for my spouse, and get his PR as well before i enter canada? As I want to enter canada with him.
My agent is saying the only way for me is to enter canada and sponsor him, but I have read that there is a way to apply for him before entering canada (and this is much more hassle free). Please HELP!
That's why you should not use illegal agents who themselves do not know the law or process.
Send your passport for stamping. If you get married before your first landing you can inform IRCC and follow the process as mention in the video. You spouse will be added

Sir, please clear my concern.
I have applied visitor visa, I don't have Surname on my passport. so, under confusion, I filled both fields "Surname" and "Given Name" with my given name. Due to this, I got Biometric Letter with my name printed Twice on it.
What can I do now ?
Will my application be rejected ?
Or will the Visa also have my name printed twice on it?

Me and my wife received PPR via CEC now and we have submitted the passport. Our medical expiry is on DEC22.
Now my wife is pregnant with due date as AUG22 and we may not be able to travel to SG within this timeline.
Please suggest which is best route going forward:
1. Land in Canada before child birth and sponsor child later.
2. After Child birth, Can we add child to our application , ? Assuming We might receive COPR with Passport.

How to deal in a situation where PPR arrives now (Feb 22) and the applicant has planned a wedding in the end of the year...(legally not married).. Can the primary applicant still do a soft landing BEFORE the wedding? After PA moving to Canada, how long before dependent visa can be applied for partner?

Can you please elaborate on how can I contact IRCC about change of my marital status apart from raising a web form. And after informing IRCC about my spouse how long does it take for them to get back, meaning what happens if they do not reply me before my COPR expires.

Hi Sir, I have married in middle of my processing last year in July. When I raised a webform, they have asked for some documents. I have shared those documents through webforms and also paid RPRF and biometrics fee for my spouse and sent the receipt through webform last year. I received my PPR today. However, I am worried as they haven't asked for updated POF or biometrics of my spouse. How can I confirm with IRCC if my spouse is included too and what can I do next to get my spouse added too.
You can check this under view dependent’s option available on gckey login .. I got that added post submission of documents requested by IRCC and it’s visible there
Hi Kubeir.. Thank you for this informative video.. I recently received my COPR but i got civil married on 9th May. I have submitted a web form to IRCC updating them. I wish to relocate with my spouse. I have a question, do i need to attest/notarise the marriage certificate. I have been searching online on the IRCC website but i am not finding any such requirement regarding attestation. Please let me know if any stamping is required. Thank you!
