I searched so many video to help me process my application without paying for an expensive immigration lawyer and your video are the best, I watched most of them which help me submit my application without a lawyer. Your video are really well organize, explain each steps of the process perfectly. Again I got stuck linking my application, I tried everyday since I got my AOR and after watching your video, I realized it was because I put "1" applicant instead of "2" and magically, it worked! Thank you, I submitted my application for common-law in-land on the 3rd of February 2023, got AOR, Medical and Biometric on the 9-10 of March (completed within a few days) and now linked my application and waiting for the next step :) hopefully my work visa will arrive soon! i did not include a cover letter as it was not mentioned anywhere. but if you want to, in order to provide additional explanation, you can absolutely do that. should not hurt your case.

IRCC announced from February 2022 people with family class sponsorship application will be able to check their application up-to-date status online. From last 10 months after biometrics and medical I am waiting for a status update from ircc. Can you please make a video how can we check online with this new announcement? 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I've followed all your videos and sponsored my common-law partner in last December. I received pre-arrival letter in January and medical passed on Feb 1st. Only thing pending now is the background certification.. thank you so much for sharing valuable experiences!!!

I filled my spouse inland application however after your video I saw that I missed 1 signature in 5476. Now my question is
1. Can I raise a webform & share the most updated 5476 with the missing signature?
2. You mentioned you had a similar incident with signatures. Do we have to upload all the documents that we submitted initially once my application is being rejected?

1. Try raising a webform and see if it works. Not guaranteed but could work.
2. Yes I uploaded all the documents again, I had to create another new application in the portal under my wife’s name
Hey, did you raise it with RCC? or did you wait for them to get back to you? I was stupid enough to forget to sign 1334, because I thought E-sign thru portal was enough. SHould I call or do I need to wait until someone looks into my file?

Hello I had the same issue my signs were missing I applied in august and my file was returned in October and then I resubmit my file on October 30 yesterday Feb 2 I got AOR to my email Id and then today Feb 3 my wife got biometric request to her email It seems like within 3 to 3.5 months they are either returning file or giving AOR

Thank you so much for this explanation of timeline. Is precisely what I was looking for snce part of me thought that I'd get the AOR right away after submitting. So it can actually take a couple of months then. Was a;sp wondering if the greyed "submitted" button on the online applicaiton portal meant there was an error or something, but I see now that it is normal as well.

Had a query.
1) Once the spousal outland PR applicantion is submitted for a spouse(principal applicant), what is the maximum time for which the Sponsor can leave Canada. Is there a link anywhere on the website which mentions about this.
Note: Spousal outland PR applicantion was submitted based on court marriage.
2) In case there are some religious rituals that need to be performed in the upcoming months for which the sponsor needs to leave Canada, does that need to be mentioned in the application. If yes, where to mention, in a supporting letter and in form imm 5532?

Hello! This is really helpful but I had a question! One cannot book Medical upfront for spousal sponsorship apparently. They’ll have to wait out for an IME letter from IRCC after submitting so I think there’s no upfront medical examinations as such?
You are right. upfront is for express entry. but in some cases where you did your medicals for say, an open work permit, then later started the spousal sponsorship, when they request your medical, you can just submit that(assuming they are still valid, which would then make them upfront. But i should have been more clear on that. my bad)
For most sponsorship applicants, medicals are done once IRCC requests them, like you pointed out. Good call !

Please let me know if it is compulsory to link application with GC Key (we have already linked our application to the tracker). The GC Key site mentions that once Application is linked here, we will stop receiving email updates and all updates will be on GC Key account.

Hi, i have a question, we applied our spousal sponsorship in March 2022 n got it retuned a few days ago. We haven't received any email stating the reason of retuned file, the email just says login to your portal n check the updated status. My question is that I'm able to submit the same file so shall i ho ahead n submit it or create a new one? Do i need to change the dates on the uploaded forms or can i subkit the same old ones which are having March dates on it? N shall i wait for another email from ircc in which i can find the actual reason of return?

Hi Suyash. Great video! I'm in a bit of dilemma and maybe you can help me. We have received an update on our application tracker stating that "we sent you a message.. read it carefully" but I'm not sure where to find that message since I am not even able to link my application to my IRCC secure account. I (sponsor) have also received my AOR a couple of months ago but the principal applicant hasn't heard back. I'm thinking our application is not in their system yet (hence, we're not able to link it). But why the update on the tracker then? Do you think this might be a ghost update?

i dont have a format for additional address yet. i did it online so didnt need it. just add details in a word document and print it. i shared a format for family letter in my supporting doc video. just write any date in present or future and see if works. if not, write ongoing.
