DON'T fit a sleeping pod like THIS 🤦🏼♀️ - we had to take it off | ep 21 | newbie van build

- We’re back with our second (and last) sleeping pod coming off - it’s honestly been the longest graft on one thing we’ve ever experienced - the people that fit these pods might not have cut them very well but they certainly stuck them on pretty good. Enjoy our home video style vlog where we magically make a job that is incredibly long and boring into something that can actually be watched. So the lesson here is DON'T fit a sleeping pod that doesn't fit - maybe cut a hole that is STRAIGHT and DON'T buy a part converted vannnnnnnn!
We started making these vlogs as memories for ourselves - perhaps to show others that even though we know nothing - we can still do this - no matter how many times we doubt ourselves. We both have our moments of doubt but we’re mostly positive and when the sun is shining on us like this - it’s hard to complain. Cornwall is so lovely when the sun is out but by jove is she relentless the rest of the time lol.
Fitting these sleeping pods has been a very long task but hopefully will be worth it - we can also confirm the other side flare / sleeping pod IS water tight and has held out through all the elements so far!

We are still in the process of building but no matter how hard it gets for us - our dream of living and travelling full time on the road is what keeps us moving forward with the van build- that and posting our progress every week - it’s been a challenge keeping it all together - mainly our state of minds and to keep striving and not doubt ourselves too much.
We have all our savings and time and effort going into this and we are both just so excited for our future home to be finished! When? Really really do not know…..
