Hi Syifa, I did watch and enjoy all our Hungary-videos. Thanks for this one, too. Pity, you won't have time to film in Romania. It is the country of my mother's ancestors - she grew up in Transilvania in a village near Bistriţa. She came to Austria during WW2. Last summer my sister travelled to Romania to our mum's home village and found our granddad's house (still standing empty...) I'm curious to see your next video, that you announced so 'mysteriously'! 😉

Very nice video (like all of yours) with lots of images that looked familiar to me and reminded me of my latest trip in Europe in 2023 that also included travelling from Hungary to Romania! I used trains several times in Hungary but took a bus from Budapest to Cluj. My further travels in Romania were partly by train and partly by bus/minibus. It was my first time in Romania, I spent about 2 weeks in Transylvania and another 2 weeks in the Danube Delta, skipping Bucharest, and I really loved it. Most of the time I was even the only foreigner, with the exception of 2 hostels in Brasov.
Beat! I didnt expect to see you on the comment section. How lovely! Thanks so much for sharing your travel story, that’s so cool. I wish I had a longer Schengen duration than just a 30-day visa, I wouldve gone to Cluj as I was intrigued by Transylvania! Loved reading your comment and hope to see more of it 😊
Your videos are delightful! If you ever consider coming back to Hungary, make sure you visit the western side. Lake Balaton (Tihany), Hévíz, Sopron are some places i would recommend visiting.
Thank you so much! I was initially planning to visit Lake Balaton but wasnt keen on doing that due to my limited time with travel filming in the country. I had to be calculative and decided to go to the less-popular route that is Eastern Hungary. Thank you 😊

A really big chunk of Romania on the northwest side called "Erdély" (pronounced like air-day) was historically part of Hungary, so don't be surprised if you meet Hungarian people there 🙂 By the way, people in the Hungarian ethnical group in Romania are easily offended if you call them Romanians. Even though they now belong to the minority and live in Romania, they are still Hungarians and would like to be treated as and called Hungarians. Just a hint 😉
I'm sorry, I have to contradict you, the younger and educated generations of Hungarians living in Romania no longer think like that, after all we are all in Europe! This does not mean that we have forgotten our origin and do not preserve with holiness our language and customs!

Actually, it is impossible to smuggle between Hungary and Romania. Since April Romania is part of Schengen and consequently there is free movement of people and goods, there is no tariffs, nothing to smuggle. For political (read nonsense) reasons there is still land border control. Some countries objected against admission of Romania and Bulgaria into Schengen due to corruption and illegal migration so they made some convoluted deal that land border controls remain in place like they remain outside of Schengen, but by air there is no border control and they are fully part of Schengen. I guess one has to be a politician to understand that logic.
Thanks for sharing this info, fascinating to read! I knew that there's no air border control between Romania and the rest of Schengen zone, considering that Bulgaria and Romania are a new addition to the list. Hope you enjoyed watching this video.

This window for example 😄 But still overall everything looks quite neat and clean.
😂 a window is rained on, dust settles, so it start getting dirty as soon as its washed. Do you think it's even possible to keep everything extremely clean?

@florian-e7j According to the latest genetic studies, Hungarians have lived in the Carpathian Basin for 10,000 years. The cultural tour of the Celtic Empire came from the west and the Hun Empire from the east, and the peoples also migrated, but the core was always this. In 900, when the Hungarian tribes arrived, they were in the minority compared to those still living here. Hungarians are Celts, Scythians, Huns, Avars, Dacians, etc. his descendants. The Tatars exterminated half of the Hungarian population. That is why the Hungarians settled the Kunaks in the highlands for the leadership, in order to settle the ancestors of the Romanians there for the purpose of defense, so that if they attack us from there, they will clash with them first. They rebelled and wanted to be independent, and the Hungarians were so decent that they gave them Havasalföld. When the Turks attacked, they killed many Hungarians again, and Romanian shepherds infiltrated Transylvania. Because the Hungarians perished, the Romanians multiplied like rabbits, they became the majority by 1920, and because the global powers did not want a strong and large Hungary, Transylvania was given to the Romanians. They invented a false history, they lie that they are descendants of the Dacians, but it's not them, it's us Hungarians. This is the story! So take care of your valuables, and you'll know if the Romanian opens his mouth, he's already lying! Look at the map! The Carpathian Basin looks like a castle! It has always been inhabited by one people, the Hungarians, and the Hungarians' ancestors! That's why we hate mass immigrants and Romanians!

It is the country of my mother's ancestors - she grew up in Transilvania in a village near Bistriţa. She came to Austria during WW2. Last summer my sister travelled to Romania to our mum's home village and found our granddad's house (still standing empty...)
I'm curious to see your next video, that you announced so 'mysteriously'! 😉
Wow Diz! I didnt know that you have a Romanian heritage. That’s so fascinating! I hope to visit Romania next time if I am successful in obtaining another Schengen visa 😊
Thank you so much! Köszönöm szépen!
Koszonom, Gabor!
I enjoyed watching your travel videos! It feels like I am traveling with you too. Love the authenticity and the interactions with locals and strangers and hoping I will have my own solo adventure too soon. Beautiful places you have captured on video. ❤
Thank you so much for your sweet comment. Yes I try my best to incorporate local interactions on my videos whenever possible 😊Thank you for your kind words ❤
It is lovely Syifa. Satisfied with your sharing of the journey. Have a safe flight❤thanks
Thank you so much Habibah 😊
Bine ai venit in Romania!Sa vizitezi Transilvania,Maramuresul!...
Hello again syifa Adriana thank you for showing the place you visit. God bless you and your husband.😊
Thank you so much Maryan!
Love the train trips. You make it so romantic. As always great video and content. You have zen feel to your work.
Mario, thank you so much for your lovely comment! That's so sweet to hear that the video felt very zen. I think that credit goes to my husband as he edited this video and has always got a really impressive music taste.
Thank you 😊
I love your love for trains ! and you so nicely recorded the railways atmosphere ..
Ahhh so glad to hear this! Thank you so much 😊
Thanks for your video
Wishing You and Your Family Always Happiness and Success in Every Field ♥️
Thank you so much 😊
Another interesting country of ours, we had brief acquaintance back in Malaysia where some Romanian guys worked with us. Thank you for showing what is real time
life is like in Romania. Love all you videos, take care Arianna.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing and watching guys.
It seems that Romania is quite safe for people to travel around 🤟
Most of Central and Eastern European countries are safe to travel 😊
love to watch your gentle 😊vlog
Thank you so much, Tenzin! So great to hear that
From Hungary to Romania .Safe travel Syifa God Bless!
Thank you so much 😊
I watch your all videos , I’m from India, I had joined you just to learn English from you , now I can also watch different country from your side as well as enjoying throughout videos …thank you , you have nice voice and heart…..
Thank you so much! That is so kind of you 😊
You could have stopped on the way to Bucharest in Oradea, Cluj, Sibiu. You skipped some wonderful cities. Sorry to hear you were sick.
@@mimisor66 Thank you for your comment! No I couldn’t make any stops, as I had a flight out of Bucharest in less than 24 hours after my arrival in the city. Also these trains have hot different lines so one cant just hop on and off without a proper planning 😂😅
Békéscsaba has the cleanest railway station in Hungary.
Haha it felt like that!
Another interesting and eye opening video. My partner and I love your stuff on Hungary. We hope to visit there next year. Question, what cameras are you using, I will be documenting our journey too?? Are drone laws easy in Hungary?? Looking forward to your future videos in Romania. Cheers.
Thank you so much! How exciting that you are planning to travel to Hungary. I wouldnt really fly a drone in Hungary as I only managed to even fly it once, depending on your experience with a drone. I have a set of different filming set up on each video but mostly Sony a6600 with 16-55 f2.8 G Lens, Go Pro and DJI Air 2S. I’d recommend DJI pocket 3 which is mini and inconspicuous 😊
Lovely, cheerful, beautiful full of welcoming smile the only one Adriana, keep it up such educative video contents n God bless you abundantly
Thank you so much!
@@SyifaAdriana eargerly waiting for new videos I really enjoy them especially your presentation soo amazing
Great and informative video
In the cog menu under captions autotranslate are languages to read along to video, including hungarian. A phonetic language. A channel about culture, Frederickusz, has captions too. A storytelling booktuber, Agi Szabados, has captions too. Great to experience the sounds. 🎉😊
Hi David, I am glad to hear that you are able to experience this! That is very interesting to read as I rarely, if ever, got someone writing this type of comment. I truly value you sharing your experience.
Good luck in Bucharest

Saludos Adriana que bueno que estás visitando otros países, buenos vídeos.
Thank you so much for your kind comment and for always watching!

Hello Vlad! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. Yes, my Schengen visa was running out and I wasnt able to stay longer in Romania. I like to take my time when it comes to traveling and making videos so I decided to hold on to that plan for a future travel. Thank you so much for leaving a supportive comment! I appreciate your time.

Dhannyabad, Kiran!
Hello Syifa. I had the same feeling in August when I was in Budapest waiting for a bus to Zagreb that only arrived at the station with 5 minutes to go. I thought I had missed the bus and would need to find a way to get to Croatia later that day. It was terrible.
Hi Cristova! Haha I can imagine the suspense feeling, oh that sounds horrible. You probably have catastrophically thought of the worst possible scenario and have to figure out alternative transport, whereas in reality there were just being late 😂 Thanks for sharing!
Hello Syifa Lots of Love from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
Hi! Thank you so much Kanxa 😊

Nice 👍 ❤
@Syifa if you want to see a beautiful train station, go here in Antwerpen Centraal, Belgium!!!

Thank you so much Juan! So glad to hear that you enjoy watching this video.
A really big chunk of Romania on the northwest side called "Erdély" (pronounced like air-day) was historically part of Hungary, so don't be surprised if you meet Hungarian people there 🙂
By the way, people in the Hungarian ethnical group in Romania are easily offended if you call them Romanians. Even though they now belong to the minority and live in Romania, they are still Hungarians and would like to be treated as and called Hungarians. Just a hint 😉
It was not historically hungaryan 😂
You should come to Gdańsk Poland !I visited Romania and Bucharest is not the best city is but same time have lots interesting places nice food ! Romania have lots small very beautiful towns and the country landscape is magical ! In Romania you have to be carful if to comes to safety and security ! @@qwertyqwerty-zi6drwhen you came last time in Romania and what was your unpleasant event with roma people? Some of yours citizens are more dangerous than most of gypsies in Romania. The most dangerous gypsies are already in Britain or other countries in the West. So your comment is a big lie.Romania is more safer than western Europe and not less safer than Poland.
Wow nice 🎉
Why only 24 hours in Bucharest?
It was a transit before my flight out of EU to Southeast Asia for a speaking engagement then to Mongolia, for my next travel series.
@@SyifaAdrianayou missed the point.Romania is way much beatiful and interesting than Hungary. Not only Bucharest but many cities are surprisingly beautifull.
@@do.ro99 I understood the point but really tired of reading this comment of comparison from Romanian saying “it’s more beautiful than Hungary”. I have had such a good time in Hungary and my Schengen visa was running out therefore I couldnt be in Romania longer than even if I wanted to.
@@SyifaAdrianareally tired? Sorry we got you tired, it was just a sugestion and if you are disturbed by Romanians.... Have a nice trip.
@@do.ro99 Hi hi! Sorry if I sounded irritated on my earlier comment and thanks for your suggestion. I think it came across more as a comparison done by people coming from both Romanian and Hungarian trying to convince tourists that one is better than the other. I just dont appreciate that kind of attitude however Ive had Romania on my list for long! The Ro Schengen visa is some more the complex one to obtain and Romania as a country is so massive. I had run out of time with my 30 day previous Schengen visa and had a flight to catch up for my speaking engagements in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

5:09 When I was a teenager all I used to hear was exaggerated praises about European countries. I used to hear that everything was super neat, super clean, etc in Europe. But with HD, FULL HD, cameras with vloggers, TH-camrs etc one can see that not everything everywhere is as spotless, neat, clean as we used to hear. This window for example 😄 But still overall everything looks quite neat and clean.
😂 a window is rained on, dust settles, so it start getting dirty as soon as its washed. Do you think it's even possible to keep everything extremely clean?
Haha yeah not all European countries are as neat or super clean. I think it’s more general in general than countries in Asia but it’s always good to showcase different aspects of each destination I travel to.
Terima kasih atas videonya.
Hungary dan Romania keduanya masuk Schengen kan ya? Tetap ada passport control ya?
Many thanks! Hungary and Romania are part of Schengen zone however any land border to Romania still requires a border passport control.

Thanks again. This video help me for my fiction project (a short story) since I’ve never been there. Still need more info about travelling from Romania to Bulgaria, then Turkiye.
I’d like a little practical advice for European travel, for example how to get cell service while visiting etc.
Thanks John! I have actually been using eSim from Holafly this year which has saved me from troubles! I have recommended it on my videos and perhaps you want to take a look into this too? They have an EU package which means that you only pay as little as €6/day and valid in all of the EU countries! Here’s the link: bit.ly/3R3qot5
Let me know if you need further advice!
Really you are in hard work for us who love to travel
Thanks for Your heart, i need your advice please, i'm a single dad with two kids, can you please advise me which country is best for us to migrate?
Is it Kazakhstan?
Hi Syifa old viewers here, i have an question for you and it might be quite silly 😂 but i really curious about how you handle the laundry during your trip since you’re travelled non stop for quite long periods 😄

A large part of Romania is also Hungary...
It was stolen... Take care of your valuables!
@florian-e7jstolen language, stolen country, stolen history, stolen property
@tibsim mad hungaryan go learn history and cry more
A lot of frustrated hungarian liers try to invent history and claim teritories that were always inhabited by romanian majority.
Who is talking ! The ones coming from Asia and stealing others people lands! Yeah, dear make sure that nothing was stolen from you in Hungary!
The international community of -railfans- rail maniacs is giving this video a thumbs up
