I was just researching my next stay in Hungary (Nov/Dec) when your video came up. I've spent time in Budapest and Szeged, but my ambition is a hike around the whole country. I feel at home in Hungary and have learned enough of the language to get by as a tourist. It's not easy, but is possible.
That sounds like an amazing plan! I’m so glad my video popped up while you were researching. A hike around the whole country sounds like a fantastic way to truly experience Hungary. It’s such a beautiful place, and I admire your effort in learning the language-it may not be easy, but it’s definitely rewarding! Wishing you the best on your upcoming adventure in Hungary! 😊
If you really want to hike around the country I suggest you check out the "Országos Kékkör (National blue circle)". It consists of 3 parts. The first, longest, "hardest" but most beautiful is the "Országos Kéktúra(National Blue Tour)". It takes you through the whole of Northern Hungary. The second is the "Rockenbauer Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúrát(Rockenbauer Pál South Transdanubian Blue Tour)". It runs through the south-western part of Hungary. And the last is the "Alföldi Kéktúra"(Alföld Blue Tour), which leads through our lowlands. You can buy a tour booklet that you can stamp at the stamping points along the route. Once you've stamped them all, you can hand in the booklet for inspection and if you've completed it correctly, you'll be listed as an official completer. You will receive a certificate and a patch. It's not short, but it's worth it because it's beautiful: 2550 km in total.

Nice video, as usual, Syifa, and hello again from Florida. Yes, the TimeKettle does seem to have improved your encounters with the locals. Though you can do some of that with Google Translate, doing it with Google is clumsy, and doesn't make for such a smooth interaction as the TimeKettle, with its 2 buttons.
Len, thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! 😊Yes, the TimeKettle has definitely made interactions with locals much smoother compared to using Google Translate. It feels more natural and easy with the two-button setup. I’m glad you noticed the difference! Thanks again for your continued support, and I hope you’re doing well in Florida! 😊
Hi Syifa - Timekettle was perfect for Hungary, as their language is really challenging to learn! Hungary feels to me a bit like European 'hinterland' , as its a smaller country, slightly in the east, and the people do feel like rather 'normal' than sophisticated or arrogant - nice atmosphere! And I can't emphasize that enough: your charm and openness to the people makes your videos so much more intimate and personal, and they do enjoy meeting you too! ...when you read this you will already be in Asia (or even already back in England?!) - you're a fast moving global citizen, Syifa! 🌏🏃♀😅
Thank you so much for your kind message, Jorn! You’re absolutely right-Timekettle was a lifesaver in Hungary, as the language is definitely a challenge! I love how you described Hungary as a bit of a ‘hinterland’ in Europe. The people there truly have such a warm, down-to-earth attitude, at least those whom I met. I really appreciate your words about my videos and how I connect with people. Those personal moments are the focus of my travels, and I’m so glad that comes across. And yes, you’re spot on, Jorn -I’m already Mongolia 😊🌏
This episode was very impressive and informative, It feels like you took me into a place and time in which the reflection of the event of World War I, existed at every corner of the city. Thank you, Shifa 👍
I enjoyed your video. I am 60 years old and this summer travelled to Budapest on my own. My father was Hungarian and my mum is English but they divorced so I never knew much about Hungary. He left Hungary in 1957 after the Uprising. I would love to travel more to the remote village where my dad came from and your video has inspired me!
Hi, just bumped into your channel! Really great travel you had with nice and funny interactions. The translator kit made it so easy great stuff! I hope you didn't miss the inside pools in Eger bcos they are also great! If you still in Hungary you should visit lake Balaton and and some cities around it like Batonfüred or Veszprém. Happy explore, cheers from Hungary!
Thank you so much for discovering my channel and for your lovely comment! I’m glad you enjoyed the travel and the fun interactions-the translator kit was a lifesaver! Lake Balaton sound beautiful-I hope to explore them in the future!
Beautiful episode..loved the conversation with the locals. The background guitar solo is so soothing..and your narration is equally beautiful. Thank you 🙏 would love to see more in Eastern Europe ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the episode and the conversations with the locals. I’m happy to hear the guitar solo and narration resonated with you-it means a lot! I definitely plan to explore more of Eastern Europe in the future.
Such a heartfelt video; honestly makes me want to go visit Eger. So cool you got to spend time outside of Budapest too 😊 and quite frankly this translator/interpreter thingie really does make a difference. Thanks for visiting Hungary ☺️
Thank you so much for this video. You've literally walked through my childhood area in the inner city, and then the train station I commuted from as a teenager. Not much has changed since 2003 when I left for NZ. That Timekettle is doing an awesome job, especially given the difficulty of the Hungarian language! Subscribed :)
Fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing your childhood experience. What a special moment to remember. I have created 4 videos from Hungary so far and perhaps these videos will bring back some nostalgia for you. So glad to have you joining my community!
I’m glad you had such a great time in Eger, its definitely a lovely city. Your translator does a really great job. Usually these automatic translators and apps have some difficulty with hungarian. If you’re ever in need of a tour guide or just some tips around Pécs, do feel free to contact me. ☺️
@@janosnagy4382 Hi Janos, there's another TimeKettle device that is smaller and perhaps more appropriate for short-term leisure travel: www.timekettle.co/pages/travel
@@Gumimacikiller06 Thank you so much! Eger was such a wonderful experience, and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. If I make my way there, I’ll definitely keep you in mind. 😊
I loved your video! TH-cam recommended the first episode to me since I'm from Hungary, and then the second one too. I'm so thankful because they’re both really relaxing to watch. Subscribed for more adventures, wherever the wind takes you!

I love your videos! My grandparents are from Hungary and I would love to visit one day, it’s a gorgeous country. Hungarian people are so welcoming and have always have great hospitality.
Hey there, I don't like to comment on videos but I can't hold back myself to tell you how brave you are to leave the tourist area and go out without any knowledge of the language and place or travel guide. It is always really nice to see someone how is trying to discover the real country! I am also impressed by your translation system how accurate it is, absolutely amazing! I hope you also will visit the southwest side of the country etc lake Balaton and other beautiful cities. I bet as soon as you leave the capital and see the conditions it is like traveling back in time. Really disappointed to see not much changes about to make it easier for tourists outside of the capital, I mean like no english sings or barely anyone able to speak English but at least because we don't use Euro it is still cheaper than other countries. I wish you all the best and good luck! Hopefully we will see lots more videos about the Hungarian countryside from you!
Hi kak Syifa, I always love your travel video, specialy with your story telling and communication with the locals, I wonder if you made some script before you go to some place, or you do it spontaneously whenever you see something interesting? Greetings from Semarang Id
Hi! Thank you so much for your support-I’m really glad you enjoy my travel videos and the storytelling, especially the interactions with locals! I usually plan out a general idea of what I want to capture, but a lot of it happens spontaneously as I explore and connect with the people I meet. It’s those unexpected moments that often make the best stories!
Szia Syifa, köszönöm yet again for a lovely Hungarian video. The architecture in Eger makes me feel at home - it is a witness of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire. You will, when you finally get to Austria (fingers crossed), find the same kind of Baroque churches and buildings all over Austria. I was laughing out loud about Lazlo (Latsi) on the market. What a character and a charmer! Your translation gadget is quite a handy little machine! Near the end of the video you mentioned a Strudel - I hope you enjoyed it. The word 'Strudel' actually means a 'swirl' or 'whirlpool'. It derives from the way the ingredients are rolled up in the puff pastry. Looking forward to your next video!
Szia, Diz! Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely message! I’m glad the architecture in Eger made you feel at home-it really does carry the charm of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. I can’t wait to finally visit Austria and see the Baroque beauty you mentioned! László (Latsi) was such a character-he had me laughing too! And yes, my little translation gadget was a lifesaver in those moments. I did enjoy the Strudel, and thank you for sharing the meaning behind the word! That makes it even more special. I’m so happy you’re enjoying the video.
Hi syifa. Great to see u again in video. Beautiful place in Hungary. Its good had time kettle as translator. Waiting for your next video. Stay safe syifa. Bye😊😊
Eger is known for it's famous Bulls Blood Wine ( Egri Bikaver). Thought that wine isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I thought you were going to visit that winery. Fun translator tool! I'll have to get one. A gorgeous country.
There is an even smaller train which departs from Szilvásvárad a small walk from the main train line. It goes up to the valley Szalajka through the woods. That would been worth to check, also can eat local farmed and smoked trout there.
Yes, you're absolutely right! I had actually planned to take that train as well, but unfortunately, my camera had some audio issues, so I couldn’t continue filming. I’ll definitely have to check it out next time!
Thank you so much for your warm message! Hungary truly is a beautiful country with such a rich history, and I’ve experienced firsthand how kind and hospitable the Hungarian people are. It was really special being able to talk to locals, and I appreciate learning about the historical reasons behind the language differences.
Oh these old trains.. Sometimes I love them, sometimes these like bumpy rides.. :D You had a lovely vibe, and nice to chat with random people! I'm glad my fellow Hungarians, greeted and treated you well. Also try other thermals too, and checkout Badacsony northside of Balaton lake! Will worth a visit! :)
Hi! For the candy you got: His name is Negro. Once some PC activist allegedly caused a scandal because of the name of the candy. In His circles, he is considered a racist. The candy is named after its inventor, Pietro Negro. He invented it in 1920. The other scandal was over its packaging. According to the rapper, it depicts a hanged man. It actually shows a working chimney sweep. The advertising slogan is a chimney sweep for the throat. Since this is a medicated candy, according to the slogan, it cleans your throat as much as a chimney sweep cleans the chimney. The Eger Railway Station is an old standard station. All the smaller stations looked similar. On the even smaller ones, the station building is also smaller. There are also those where there is only a sign with the name of the station. The train to Szilvásvárad is actually one car and two motor cars. The youngest is almost 40 years old. They were originally red color, exactly like the middle car. The one you traveled in for the first time has already been renovated once. That's when the seats you see now were included. The original seats were also like this, only with artificial leather coating. The second vehicle has already been renovated twice. The seat covers got their current color during the second renovation. All new and refurbished vehicles receive this pattern.
Megnézem a többi Magyarországról szólót is. Lenne egy kiegészítésem. Az egri vasútállomást 1997-ben renoválták. Abban az évben 125 éves volt. Nem 1997-ben épült.

Hello again im still watching your blogs from Hungary its really interesting. 😊
Thank you so much for so nice captured. Currently, I am in my home country Nepal on short trip to see my family.
With heaps of love.

Thanks Syifa for this introduction to Eger. I like that your interaction with the locals was enhanced through the translation tool. You help travellers see beyond the touristy routes and the possibilities and joy of solo travelling.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I’m glad you enjoyed the introduction to Eger, and yes, the translation tool really helped me connect with the locals. I love showing the beauty of places beyond the typical tourist spots and encouraging others to experience the joy of solo travel. I’m so happy that message came through for you! 😊
You made me cry, I feel homesick... you are an amazing and positive person, I miss my home country so much, so thanks for these videos! They love you because you love our country and you are so open minded!

It means a lot to me that my love for your country shines through, and I’m so grateful for the connections I’ve made here. Sending you lots of love, and I hope you get to visit home soon! ❤
Nagyon klassz pörgős videót készítettél, gratulálok.
so great to see someone interested in not only our capital but in the smaller towns as well :) the Eger area is a miracle, especially in autumn foliage. if you come back, I highly recommend visiting Szalajka-völgy and Lillafüred! thanks for the video
Stay safe Syifa. Love from Malaysia
Kedves Adriana ! 🙏 🍀🌹🌺
Daym, that translating device is accurate and super useful.
Haha yeah definitely helpful for my travels in rural areas. Thanks so much for watching!
Love from Bangladesh ❤️🇧🇩
And I can't emphasize that enough: your charm and openness to the people makes your videos so much more intimate and personal, and they do enjoy meeting you too!
...when you read this you will already be in Asia (or even already back in England?!)
- you're a fast moving global citizen, Syifa!
I loved you and your video too!❤Your behavior as amazing.😊I am happy that you enjoyed our country.I wish you every sucess!❤
Thank you so much, that's incredibly sweet.
Very nice langhage communication ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice scenery pleasant weekend pal!❤😂
I enjoyed your video. I am 60 years old and this summer travelled to Budapest on my own. My father was Hungarian and my mum is English but they divorced so I never knew much about Hungary. He left Hungary in 1957 after the Uprising.
I would love to travel more to the remote village where my dad came from and your video has inspired me!
Hello I'm watching from philippines❤
Wow, kumusta ka, mahal, mabuti?
Very excellent video❤❤❤❤❤❤, I love this ❤❤❤❤❤, very funny ❤❤❤❤
Amazing video! I love the positivity
I was longing for some travel and i felt like i was there with you!
I’m glad you had such a great time in Eger, its definitely a lovely city. Your translator does a really great job. Usually these automatic translators and apps have some difficulty with hungarian. If you’re ever in need of a tour guide or just some tips around Pécs, do feel free to contact me. ☺️
What kind of translator is this?
@@janosnagy4382 she says in the video its a TimeKettle T1
@@Gumimacikiller06 Thank you!
The translator has definitely been helpful, especially with Hungarian-it can be a tricky language! I really appreciate your offer for tips around Pécs. If I make my way there, I’ll definitely keep you in mind. 😊
First comment from nepal love you so much
This video is knowledgeable ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ interesting, impressive, ❤❤❤❤❤
I loved your video! TH-cam recommended the first episode to me since I'm from Hungary, and then the second one too. I'm so thankful because they’re both really relaxing to watch. Subscribed for more adventures, wherever the wind takes you!
Thank you so much! I’m really happy to hear that TH-cam recommended the videos and that you enjoyed both of them. It’s great to know they brought you some relaxation! Thanks for subscribing ❤
Greetings to Hungary from your old friends!
I love your videos! My grandparents are from Hungary and I would love to visit one day, it’s a gorgeous country. Hungarian people are so welcoming and have always have great hospitality.
Hey there,
I don't like to comment on videos but I can't hold back myself to tell you how brave you are to leave the tourist area and go out without any knowledge of the language and place or travel guide.
Soo beautifull syifa 🌹🌹🌹Love From india🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Hi, Syifa, how are you? ❤❤❤❤❤ Have a wonderful journey ❤❤❤❤, good morning❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice train seats
Bulls blood is made by every winery in the region of Eger and the quality differs. Try some new brands. Thummerer is a good one.
@@gabortoth3706 I'll do that . Thanks !

Awesome Vlog 👌 ❤
I follow u for so many years. If i know u come to my town…. Waaah…. Should know bout it sooner. Cheers: Krisztián from Eger
That's so lovely! Thank you so much :)
I live in Budapest but Eger is my Hometown. Welcome!
Thank you so much! You are lucky that Eger is such a beautiful town!
You had a lovely vibe, and nice to chat with random people! I'm glad my fellow Hungarians, greeted and treated you well. Also try other thermals too, and checkout Badacsony northside of Balaton lake! Will worth a visit! :)
i love this translation device, its so cool!
Me too, so glad that you are too!
That Time Kettle translator is so cool. You are smart! Try some peculiar Hungarian delicacies.

Hi!
For the candy you got:
His name is Negro.
I think it is just Negro as it means the color black.
You are so cute and unique, what you do is really special, and I really enjoy your videos. (for Budapest)
enjoy the experience

Megnézem a többi Magyarországról szólót is. Lenne egy kiegészítésem. Az egri vasútállomást 1997-ben renoválták. Abban az évben 125 éves volt. Nem 1997-ben épült.
Hope I see you in Gdańsk Poland 😊

Maybe it's time YT travelers and watchers banned together and asked YT to separate real vids of people on the ground from AI?
