If you don't speak German, the announcement at 5:36 said that the train would have an estimated delay of 110-120 minutes because of technical issues. I sure hope they also made the announcement in English.
It is also interesting to see from the display that the train was already delayed when it left, even though it was leaving from Vienna Central Station. Yes, technical problems are probably normal for this train. Mine broke down completely in Vienna after a long delay and all the passengers had to get off and were suddenly left alone in the middle of the night.
Funny to see locations I visited several times each year from you! The 30-minute early departure: you probably bought your ticket over a month in advance, because Austrian Railways was forced to introduce a special schedule during trackworks on its mainline to Linz after lots of delays. But you were lucky, because in the autumn, it got worse, much worse: due to floods damaging both the old and the new double-track line east of Vienna.
We took the same compartment from Hamburg to Innsbruck also last august. I think you were a bit polite about the bed and pillow. Those were far from premium. But other than that I agree it was a very nice compartment. Lots of space. I loved the shower. Thanks for the video 🙂
Actually there are lots of delays in Japan too, just there are lots of trains overall that dilutes small delays into "couple picoseconds per eternity" metric in the end, and also better handrails on high speed rails that makes accidents much less likely
Hi there! I’m a new subscriber to your channel and I think that you do the best train videos on TH-cam. I can’t think of anything that would make your channel better. It’s always a pleasure to tune in knowing that quality is right there. I look forward to many more adventures from you! Best Wishes, Peter
That's a perfect room on a Sleeper train . OBB and the Night Jet are making the way . Looks like Sleeper trains are back to Europe and I think that's a very good thing . Next step will be to have high speed Sleeper trains . It's possible ... Ask China ... 🙂
Yery nice video and a great train, I had no idea that such a beautiful train ran here in Germany. I hope you have been to the Miniatur Wunderland as a train enthusiast? If not, you must do that next time! Thank you for showing me the world of trains and especially those in Japan! 😀🙋
Beautiful room. I once got a sixty euro fine for taking an artist easel on the metro in Paris even after I received permission. There is nothing consistent about European trains and ironically, that's the consistency 😂😂😂
Great trip. Ah yes you covered this brand new Nightjet Train. I don't know you have same opinion like European reviews or not, there's some details make this train bit annoying, like the louder beep everytime you press the button for lamp or controlling the AC, and sometimes this new carriage have some trouble, especially on Air Conditioning. But on the other side the ambience lamp and mini couchette are Plus point of brand new Nightjet Carriages.
I love how grandiose terminal train stations are, and I'm glad that they are being given a second life*. Those stations are perfect for night trains, after all, and I dream of a day when there's a coherent and reliable night train infrastructure across Europe. * Well, apart from poor Estació de França in Barcelona because we can't have nice things, or something.
6:32: Some of the Nightjet's connections have been reactivated after a long break, the cars look almost the same on the outside but have been reworked on the inside. And the glorious Taurus pulls the train. 😏
The city of Mozart would be Salzburg :) Vienna is known for composers like Haydn.
Mozart lived in Vienna from 1781 till his death in 1791, and the city is adorned with museums and houses celebrating his life there.

Ofc its delayed! LOL

The pub next door is WAAY better than the lounge in Vienna! Nice food, comfy seats.

Sure, but they should still have sent him an email with the updated time schedule 🤷
@@paulthiel5145 Yes, fully agreed on that.
Yay! Going on a trip with Kuga!
We took the same compartment from Hamburg to Innsbruck also last august. I think you were a bit polite about the bed and pillow. Those were far from premium. But other than that I agree it was a very nice compartment. Lots of space. I loved the shower. Thanks for the video 🙂
Wow, great video. I would love to ride this night train too. Thank you for always sharing so many inspirations with us.
今日は。ずっと新型のNightJet車両を見たかったので、嬉しかったです。
シャワーの水圧も強くて驚きました。有難うございました。
I bet being a Japanese you didn't even know that trains could be delayed 😂😂😂
Bloody hell, that's quite the delay now that I see it. Wow! 2 whole hours! 😮
😂😂😂
Japan has no trains across borders, which helps a lot. Night trains are easily delayed because they have a lower priority than most other trains.
Actually there are lots of delays in Japan too, just there are lots of trains overall that dilutes small delays into "couple picoseconds per eternity" metric in the end, and also better handrails on high speed rails that makes accidents much less likely
Japanese night train are among the most delayed in Japan. Its not uncommon for them to be delayed by several hours…
The Rambler, Kuga, takes us on another amazing train trip...
You also got a nifty paper bag!!! Such an ingrate!!!! Say “thank you for the nifty paper bag, I’ve been wanting one for a long time!”

That is a very nice compartment. Looks like you had a comfy trip. Thanks as always for sharing your adventure. 🐻☕

I like your captions and your humor. Thank you for your content.
I CAN'T WAIT to take this wonderful train! But like most European trains it desperately needs a lounge car!!
WOW!!! Nice room on this train! The personal bathroom is so spacious......the shower has lots of room! 👍😃👍😃👍😃👍😃
I just want to go on record: those are awesome crusty rolls!
I am always happy to have a new adventure with you 😊
One of the few Japan travel TH-camrs who ventures outside of Japan!
That cabin looked pretty slick
Beautiful train experience i enjoying the journey with you thanks for this video ❤👍🙂
Really nice to watch. Keep up the great videos!

I would love to go on that train thanks for the video my friend ❤
nice cabin with bathroom but very expensive I think; a short plane flight is preferred...
Chilling adventure.
Delay!
This should be his Halloween Special 😂
9:07- I hate to say it, but this sleeper cabin is better than anything on Amtrak & VIA (in particular VIA Rail's _Canadian_ and _Ocean_ trains.)
Oh, come on, you're talking about Canada and the US. It's amazing there's trains at all.
Wow the room is huge for a train, really nice
Ahoj, už se moc těším 😊🚆

before i even clicked the video, i knew it was going to be delayed :') welcome to our train system in germany and austria
I heard it was because of the lack of investment in infrastructure. Is there any other reason ?
They want to sell more cars.
Hi kuga enjoy your trip love from Rockingham NC USA love your videos 💕💕
Thanks, for your work on this video.
Thanks Kuga! Happy Holidays 🎄🎅❄️
Thank you for bringing us along! 😊
Kuga shakes the bag looking for more amenities 😂😂😂
😊I like this way❤🌺🍎👋☺️
Thank you for taking me along Kuga. Very nice.
Vienna is a beautiful city 😊
How much of Kuga's home do we think is dedicated to storing all the travel slippers he collects? 🤣
😂
Greetings. Lovely show. Beautiful train ride.

Looks like a comfy ride
Good job
Thank you

Neither Vienna nor Hamburg are terminal train stations 😂
@paulthiel5145 oh, aren't they? My bad, then!
Still like them as far as what was shown on the video goes, I'll say.
Thank you Mr Kuga
finally new video from kuga san... yeay ^^
Hamburg 🎉🥰
"Dream now. Enjoy tomorrow." does seem like something I would expect on a Japanese t-shirt
KUGA!! Missed you, man!
❤What camera are you using? Greetings from Texas 🇺🇸
Awesomeness again…but why did you skip the Nutella…? Thought it would be right up your alley! Great video and cool, train.
A capsule train would be pretty awesome
wow the room looks good!
I live in Hamburg and love the city.
Thank you for another great trip! Beautiful train but.... where was the complimentary plastic wrapped cup??
Probably in the bathroom. Having said that, I guess you can actually drink Sekt straight from the bottle 😂
Jesus 2 hours delay before even departing, that's crazy. Also I hope you liked Hamburg ✌
So, I trust I’m not the first to offer a correction that it is not a 13 hour ride to Germany, but 13 or so hours to Hamburg.
Dang, that's like Amtrak Delays but with Glam Rock interiors. Looks like even the airport train was delayed 30 minutes.
I hope you went to Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg!
Can u make a vlog about the EN Prague-Zurich with CD Night. I heard that their services are also on top
Good video.
As a german i heavily apologize for the horrid train conditions we have
at least the train was (almost) on schedule when arriving Hamburg.
6:32: Some of the Nightjet's connections have been reactivated after a long break, the cars look almost the same on the outside but have been reworked on the inside. And the glorious Taurus pulls the train. 😏
What are the black straps on the bed? A harness to keep you from rolling out?
Yes, but also they're like seat-belts for safety. They're sleep-belts in case of sudden stops or accidents so you don't go flying.
Is there no canteen aboard? What a lovely room!
No, food and drinks can be ordered from the attendant though.
You are very welcome
ウィーン🇦🇹ハンブルク🇩🇪
I find the train compartments very small compared to the old ones. They have less space for luggage and don't seem very comfortable.
250€ each for a ride to hamburg with private cabin is great price. expensive if you are by yourself but still good
Knowing Nightjet, the 500 euro price is probably per person 🤐
🤣🤣🤣 the train delay... too funny, if you are not affected by it 🤣 i hate our train system
In Deutschland gibt es immer Verspätung 😊
how many pairs of slippers do you have from all those trips???😂
可以橫向放下一張床.和台灣的列車比起來車廂還真是寬敞.
Whoosh Whoosh,,,,, Yessssssssssssssssssss
Nice toilet and shower looks good
How late was the arrival?
Boa tarde boa viagem trem novo trem gostei trem cama show
Kuga kun!!
👍
I'm From India Sir😊😊
I hope you can visit Borussia Dortmund to watch German football
😂😂😂😂😂
Germany and Austria are not what they used to be. Late trains. 30 yrs ago-unthinkable.
The car was nice, but they certainly could have done better.
Maybe some Aliens tried to capture the train? ^^
was this train the capsule train?
Yes, but he chose the full cabin on this trip. The capsules were in the next carriage.
20:40 not a good place, but there is a currywurst inside the station 😂
I can't stand delays. On any form of transport. Flights, trains, etc.
You must lead a rough life in that case 🤷
How much is it?
Oh yes, the delays.
Seemed very expensive for literally one night.....approximately 10 hours for almost $600??
Yes, it's very expensive, but you pay for travel and a hotel room at the same time. Still expensive though.
These 'new' European night trains timetables work like a bit as Amtrak's does in the US - in a topsy turvy way...
€549 wow far too expensive 😮
Expensive nap...
I hope they were clapping "ironically". Sarcastically would be better but.
