Hi Syifa, it's great, that you have your Schengen visa! Lovely to see you in Budapest. It feels a bit like home, being 'only' a 4-hour drive from where I grew up in Austria. I've been to Budapest twice, both times for music and a music expo. I loved the city. Looking forward to accompanying you on your further explorations of Hungary. And I hope that you'll soon explore Austria too - definitely visit Salzburg!
Hi Diz, thanks so much for watching this video. Getting my Schengen visa was such a big moment for me, and I’m so happy I could visit Budapest. It’s amazing to hear that you’ve been there twice for music-it’s such a vibrant city! Austria is also on my list, especially now that you’ve recommended Salzburg! I’ve heard it’s beautiful. Thanks for your support, and I look forward to sharing more of my travels with you.
As a Hungarian subscriber, I'm glad that you visited my country and city. Next time hopefully you will be completely healthy to explore the whole city. It's also good to see that you are exploring the countryside as well. I hope you will also explore some other countries in the region (e.g Slovakia, Chechia, Poland, Croatia). I like the whole region, Central-Europe is perfect place regarding safety, reasonable prices and kind people.
Thank you so much for your kind message! I absolutely loved visiting Hungary, and I agree, Central Europe is such a wonderful region to explore. I’m also excited to explore more of the countryside and neighboring countries like Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Croatia in the future. The combination of safety, affordability than Western Europe, and the warmth of the people makes this part of the world so special. Thanks again for your support!

I was delighted to watch this video and the fact that you finally got your schengen visa. It will be a pleasure to follow your journey from this neighboring country. It is a beautiful country that I have visited, traveling in Budapest, walking through the places where you have been now. Thanks for sharing and I hope you can come to Romania too.

Thank you so much! I’m so glad the video resonated with you. Getting the Schengen visa was such a special moment for me, and I’m happy you can relate. Sending lots of love back to Nepal!
wow, Syifa - this video started so emotional with your Visa story...before I knew it, I got tears in my eyes... tears of happiness about your stamp in your passport...! 😅 ...I grew up in Germany, even close to the Austrian border, but never made it to Budapest... so I watched very curiously... Europe is so rich in history, and its sometimes unbelievable to see how many fantastic buildings, castles, bridges, cathedrals, hotels, market halls and even railway stations have been built in the past centuries!!! In comparison we make a poor showing with most of what we build these days... ⛪ ...what I always love so much to see in your videos is how you immediately and naturally connect with strangers, and then elegantly land where you need to be... hands pushing your suitcase, drivers finding a short-cut so you can catch your train... its like a magical journey... you are born to travel, Syifa - you have it in your genes! 😊...hopefully you have by now fully recovered from the flu... keep on surfing the waves of life!! 💖
Wow Jorn, thank you so much for your beautiful message! Your words really touched me, and I’m so glad that my Visa story resonated with you. That stamp meant so much to me, and I'm happy to know it brought you tears of happiness! I'm so grateful that you enjoy the way I connect with people in my travels. Szia! Budapesten élek, és most láttam a videódat. A következő város látom Eger. Miért ezt a várost választottad?Kíváncsi vagyok rá. Jobbulást kívánok neked, és érezd magad nagyon jól Magyarországon!! Szerencsés utazást kívánok!!🥰
Hi! Thank you so much for watching my video! It’s amazing to hear that I walked close to where you live. Budapest is such a beautiful city, and I loved exploring it. I'm glad to hear that you could understand some of what I said, and it means a lot to me that you enjoyed the video.
What a coincidence, Syifa! I can feel your tears of happiness because I've also received my short term Schengen one recently (though, not for tourism and not for the first time). I almost cried too when I opened my passport and saw it inside! Europe has a special place in my heart (even though I'm European, but outside of Schengen). This is the place where I truly feel at home and I love it and I'm extremely happy whenever I come back. Maybe, next year I'll get a Tourism Schengen for an entire year. Now I'm in Germany, so happy to be back here again! Cheers and happy travel to you too!
Wow, what a beautiful coincidence, Dmitri! I completely understand that feeling of joy when you see the visa in your passport-it’s such an emotional moment! Europe really is special, and it’s amazing that you feel so at home here. Congratulations on your Schengen visa, and I’m sure you’ll get that full-year tourism visa next year! Enjoy your time in Germany, and happy travels to you too! 😊
The one time tram/metro/bus ticket is expensive. The locals are using the monthly pass, but you can buy it for shorter time too (1day,2day,weekly). The Montly pass is around 9k Huf and you can use anything in the city(and the county). There is a "country pass" too, which you can use in the whole country on railways and buses.
Nice to see Syifa in Budapest. First of all many congratulations to you for getting the Schengen visa . And secondly, thank for your excellent video on Budapest 👏👏Really enjoyed the old historical buildings 🥰🥰

As an Italian, hence with a EU citizenship, I always kind of took for granted the luck we have when it comes to travelling. The 1st part of your video is a proof of that. And I’m glad you chose Budapest as your first city in Europe. It’s beautiful and one of my favourite ones. I did my Erasmus there and keep visiting every once in a while. Hope you’ll visit Italy soon, but I wouldn’t know where you should start from, there are so many things there. Maybe from the capital, Rome, but Naples, Florence, Venice, Trieste, Milan, not to mention the Amalfi coast, other coastlines that are less knows but beautiful, Sicily, Sardinia, the mountains, the nature… ok I’ll stop here 😂 Just a little note: Hungary was a communist country, part of the so-called “Eastern block” from a Western European perspective, but it was not part of the Soviet Union :)
Thank you so much for your kind message! It’s true, having an EU passport really does make traveling easier, and I can imagine how it must feel to take that freedom for granted sometimes. Budapest was such a special place to start my European journey, and I’m glad it holds a special place in your heart too after your Erasmus experience! I absolutely want to visit Italy soon! There’s just so much to see, I’d have a hard time choosing where to start too. Thank you also for the note on Hungary’s history-definitely a good point! Wishing you all the best, and hopefully Italy will be part of my travels soon! 😊
What an excitement sensation I am having right now after going on TH-cam to see your videos of the English/Scottish border episode and I saw this Hungary video and it is stunning. It looks like you are back in the Eastern Europe because of the architecture looks exactly like Soviet Union style. I’m so happy that you finally got the visa and keep up the good work in Hungary. By the way, your English/Scottish border episodes is amazing as well. I love it.
Thank you so much for your excitement and kind words!, Emanuel I’m really happy you enjoyed the Hungary video-it’s such a beautiful place with fascinating architecture, and I’m thrilled to be exploring Eastern Europe. Hello ,welcome here! A couple of additions The Danube runs to the Black Sea. From Hungary in order: Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria. In several cases, it is a border river. The Elizabeth Bridge was originally built in 1903. It was destroyed in World War II. Just like the other bridges. Except for the Megyeri and Petőfi bridges, which did not exist then. The today Erzsébet Bridge was completed in 1964, using the original pillars. The namesake is indeed of Bavarian origin, but she is the queen of Hungary. She is also the Empress of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. In fact, the Hungarian language has two words for female rulers. If the actual ruler is a királynő. If, on the other hand, the king's wife is a királyné. Elizabeth was the latter. 18:12 The taxi driver may have thought you were heading west. The trains to Vienna stop in Kelenföld. It is true that they start from Keleti....You said it right.Congrat. 20:00 Lotz Hall. It used to function as a VIP lounge a long time ago. 20:05 A somewhat old but still working train. It will have air conditioning if you open the window. It's called a fecske/swallow. Or the other name is the postavonat/mail train. When there were still railway mail cars, they were also painted like this. 20:23 The name of the newest motor train is KISS. 21:16 This old motor car has many names. E.g. after the manufacturer, studenka. But they call it an apple crate, but mostly after its designation ( Bz ), the letters are pronounced phonetically as Bézé. As far as I know, he also appeared in a cola commercial. The film was shot at Keleti Pályaudvar during one weekend.

Among the many cities on the river Danub are four national capitals: Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, and Belgrade. Its drainage basin amounts to 817,000 km2 (315,000 sq mi) and extends into nine more countries. I cruised through it in Viena and Linz(Austria).

If you dont mind sharing, what's the process is like and where is she from? I bet it must be expensive too, as my husband and I have spent so much money for our UK fiancee and spouse visa. Haha I dont think my accent will be fully British but it's just so influenced by my husband and where I live now. 😂 Thank you so much for your kind support!

I just found this channel randomly and wow, you speak so clear, and your pronunciation is just amazing, even the hungarian names! Thats why I don't get why the first taxi driver confused Keleti with Kelenföld, however these two are connected by international rail services, not all local trains go through it, and probably he thought you wanna go international, or he was a scammer because if you lived near the Elizabeth bridge, Keleti is literally at the end of that main road, not so far from the bridge, and Kelenföld is further away. Oh btw, trains are my passion too, was good to see how much you like them as well lol p.s.: hope you gonna visit Szeged as well one day

The hassles of visas... I guess the hassle remains, but with residency in the UK the risk of rejection is probably a lot lower now. I guess you're (almost) eligible for a UK passport too, making things a bit easier.
Yes, having UK residency has made things slightly easier, but it’s definitely no guarantee for approval. My UK citizenship is still a few years away-about 3 years down the line. For now, I’m just grateful for each opportunity to keep exploring new places. Thanks so much for your support! 😊

Hello again. Maybe some day i would love to visit the Budapest. Thank you for sharing 😊
What a journey that have you been through.. Congrats Syifa, Have a nice trip in Hungary :)
Thank you so much! It really has been quite the journey, and I’m excited to be in Hungary. I appreciate your kind words and support! 😊
As a fellow Indonesian I totally understand the stress when it comes to visa applications 😅 thanks for giving us a glimpse behind the scenes and I look forward to seeing what else you get up to in Hungary!
Haha yeah such a pain to go through this just obtain a tourist visa but I feel that this kind of experience makes you become more resilient.
Thank you so much Marin! I am glad to hear that you got moved by the visa approval too. Thanks so much for watching!
Sorry you got sick. It's h great that most people speak English in Budapest. I hope to visit one day
Thank you so much! Thankfully, I’m feeling better now. Yes, it was really helpful that so many people in Budapest speak English! I hope you get the chance to visit one day-it’s a beautiful city! 😊
This video is kind of emotional, I can relate the happiness you felt with the approval of Schengen visa being Asian myself……lots of love from Nepal 🇳🇵
...I grew up in Germany, even close to the Austrian border, but never made it to Budapest... so I watched very curiously... Europe is so rich in history, and its sometimes unbelievable to see how many fantastic buildings, castles, bridges, cathedrals, hotels, market halls and even railway stations have been built in the past centuries!!! In comparison we make a poor showing with most of what we build these days... ⛪
...what I always love so much to see in your videos is how you immediately and naturally connect with strangers, and then elegantly land where you need to be... hands pushing your suitcase, drivers finding a short-cut so you can catch your train... its like a magical journey... you are born to travel, Syifa - you have it in your genes!
It’s such a special part of every journey for me. Thank you for your kind words and support, Jorn!

Congrats upon getting the schengen visa that enable you to travel all over Europe, blessings and safe travel mate! ❤😂
Thank you so much! This tourist visa was only 30 days for 1 month duration, so it's quite short but it's definitely better than being rejected. Hahaha
You are so kind and cute, Syifa. Thanks for visiting and showing the capital of my country, I hope you enjoyed your time at Eger, too 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words! I had an amazing time in Budapest, and Eger was such a beautiful experience as well. Your country is truly wonderful, and I hope to visit again soon!
@@SyifaAdriana it 's great to hear you liked Hungary🙂 I hope you will have even a more wonderful visit next time if you don't have a flu and have more time to explore the country🙂
I subscribed to your channel so I will check your new videos and old ones, too.
Wish you a lot of joy during your travelling🙂
I'll be traveling solo to Budapest, Vienna and Prague in December. I can't wait. By the way, I truly admire your passion. You are an inspiration.
That sounds like an amazing trip! Budapest, Vienna, and Prague are all beautiful, especially in December. I’m sure you’ll have an unforgettable time. Thank you so much for your kind words-I’m really touched! Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful adventure! 😊

You are extremely talented and excellent example to many things. You’re great 😊
Csodálatos lenne, ha nem lenne ennyi panel meg egy kaptafára épült újépítésű ház, vagy ronda acél-üveg irodaház, na meg a rengeteg ízléstelen reklám.
1:55 Your happiness is extremely infectious.😊😊
Thank you! 😊 I’m so happy that my happiness could reach you! Sending positive vibes your way!
Welcome to Hungary.... I wish you good luck during your travel.
Thank you for the insight into Budapest enjoyed the video I’m visiting Budapest next year in February I can’t wait
Ah thank you so much! good luck and have a safe journey next year :)
@@SyifaAdriana thank you so much 😊
What a coincidence, Syifa!
Happy to see u got the visa.
best of luck for your new journey.
Beautiful Budapest and wonderful Video!❤❤❤
Nice to see Syifa in Budapest. First of all many congratulations to you for getting the Schengen visa . And secondly, thank for your excellent video on Budapest 👏👏Really enjoyed the old historical buildings 🥰🥰
Thank you so much! I’m really grateful to have my Schengen visa and to be able to explore beautiful cities like Budapest. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and the historical buildings-they’re truly stunning! 😊
🥰
🥰
Budapest looks so inviting.
Indeed, Terry! Have you been? I think you'd like it.
Glad that, I'm your subscriber😊 I will share this with my friends also
I have no idea what it is about you that is so amazingly positive but you are really one of a kind. Keep up the great work and your amazing attitute to life! Hugs from Budapest!❤
That's why Many Super Stars always included Budapest in the List of the cities for their World Music Concert, besides Berlin, Newyork, Tokyo, Lindon, etc.
Thank you Shifa.👍🫶
Well done, great job!
Hi Syifa I was crying 😭 with you… thank you for this amazing video ❤
Maria, awwww thank you so much for your kind comment. Did you get a bit teary too? I hope you enjoyed watching this video.
Hi Syifa..selamat datang di Budapest! Enjoy..
Hi syifa. Congrats getting your passport and back to your solo travel. What a lovely building in budapest. Thank you for the great video. Seems always waiting for your fascinating travelling video. Stay safe & healthy Syifa. Byeeeee🤩🤩🤩🤩
I am glad to see you happy happy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very happy you gotten your Schengen Visa Syifa 😭
Thank you so much! I’m really excited to have my Schengen visa-it means so much to me! 😊
Maybe from the capital, Rome, but Naples, Florence, Venice, Trieste, Milan, not to mention the Amalfi coast, other coastlines that are less knows but beautiful, Sicily, Sardinia, the mountains, the nature… ok I’ll stop here 😂
Just a little note: Hungary was a communist country, part of the so-called “Eastern block” from a Western European perspective, but it was not part of the Soviet Union :)
First time watching your video. We'll done,!!! Take care from Canada
Thank you so much for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Sending best wishes to you in Canada! 😊🍁
Great video, I hope you fully recovered and enjoyed the trip after all.
I'm also glad you loved the English/Scottish border episodes! Your support means a lot, and I’m excited to share more of my travels with you.
That train you said was cool, we call it little red because it's old and slow, but we like it that way.
Hello ,welcome here!
A couple of additions
The Danube runs to the Black Sea.
Petőfi bridge did exist, it was only called Horthy Miklós bridge back then 😊
Supporting comment from Hungary. I love your smile and the vibe of your personality. You are literally shining. Stay this positive! Kisses
I was happy about seeing Eger station after a long time. I love the city. (I was traveling there a lot about 20 years ago for school).
No wonder people want to come to Budapest. Beautiful city and you showed it beautifully. Thank you for showing incredible buildings and Danube all the way. May you have safe journey♥️🇲🇾🌹
Adriana I would like to thank you for your absolutely perfect pronunciation of Budapest. Much appreciated. It was so nice to see my hometown. I have not been back since over 8 years. It has changed a lot. When you were walking on the Freedom Bridge I could see the balcony I have watched several fireworks when I was young. I will be subscribing your chanel and share it with my English partner. He is from London. Thank you for your lovely video. 👌👏
12:35 Most people have a pass, so you don't need to activate it, you only have to show it when an inspector comes.
Thank you so much for your kind words! That really means a lot to me. I’m so grateful for your support! 😊
Visited the same places last year in Budapest. Nice learning the history!
te urmaresc cu placere din romania de la inceputurile tale.succes pe mai departe,

Congrats Syifa
From indonesia I am happy for you, Syifa. You look very happtly with you life and your husband.
Get well soon friend Syifa Adriana from sickness of flu., A glimpse of Budapest, reminds of reading my books in World history, however video was very realism against the old picture of it. your vlog is great it transcends the people , their culture , their vast history ,on what happen to their country from centuries, their relations to other European countries .For that it is Great!!!👏👏👏.
You are a brave and lovely and your presentation are beautiful , but you have to give yourself more time to explore the the city and build some beautiful memories. Next time, go with a friend. Shering memories, for years to come just as nice.😀
It was a great video, but very short😌 the main touristic attractions as the Castle, the Chain bridge, the Market hall, the Margaret island and many many other beautiful things were left out😢
Thank you! I would have loved to had I not gone down with a flu :)
Apologies for getting lost...I am in Hungary and got excited about how you easily get lost...all new visitors experience the same
I really hope you enjoyed your time in Hungary. As a Hungarian from Slovakia I can say that you have made a great video. You are very pleasant person :) was nice to watch, Thank you. Subscribed. :) feel ashamed who took you to a different location. 🙄

Hi Syifa, glad to see you back on the road. Thanks for sharing about your visa. My wife is going through the citizenship process in USA. As usual, you have a very interesting video, culturally/historically interesting as well as touching on fun sites to visit . I appreciate the good mix of music and narration with similar volumes. Your new accent is great, although, being American, I have trouble understanding it (just kidding). Keep up the good work, enjoyable to watch.
Russell, what an amazing comment~ Thank you so much for your enthusiasm. Whoa, I can imagine the hassle one has to go through in obtaining a US citizenship.
@@SyifaAdriana My wife is Thai, and we still have a house there. I lived in Thailand for almost 15 years. She had to live in the USA 5 years before applying for citizenship, then go for an interview on history and politics. She did well on that part, but has to go back for the second part which she didn’t pass. Her English isn’t that great, as we speak Thai at home, my fault! Anyway, thanks for the communication and safe travels. Oh, and the application fee for citizenship was $730 usd.
Travel across Europe with train is my number one wishlist 😇🥰
I am sure you will be able to do this some time in the future :)

Oh btw, trains are my passion too, was good to see how much you like them as well lol
p.s.: hope you gonna visit Szeged as well one day

Great video!
Very nice video ❤❤
The hassles of visas... I guess the hassle remains, but with residency in the UK the risk of rejection is probably a lot lower now. I guess you're (almost) eligible for a UK passport too, making things a bit easier.
Yes, having UK residency has made things slightly easier, but it’s definitely no guarantee for approval. My UK citizenship is still a few years away-about 3 years down the line. For now, I’m just grateful for each opportunity to keep exploring new places. Thanks so much for your support! 😊
Thank You Syifa :)
