Never have i ever heard nutshell and not gotten goosebumps. What a boss cover, perfectly done. That strumming pattern is not as easy as he makes it look, especially singing to.
Aaron Fucking Lewis IS AMAZING!! Period. I've been a fan of his music since Dysfunction dropped & I've NEVER heard him sing a "bad" anything, ESPECIALLY his covers. I've lost count of how many times I've seen Staind & Aaron solo & when he sang both this song & "Comfortably Numb" it just sent shivers up my spine & spread goosebumps everywhere....I KNOW Layne was looking down, smiling & singing 🎶 along with Aaron 😊 His music got me through some pretty dark times in my life. When I told him that one night, after a solo show (at a completely not planned M&G lol) he told me that made him very happy to hear & He, quite humbly thanked me for being such a loyal fan, bc he KNOWS that without all of his fans, he wouldn't be where he is today ❤
Just for minute... one friggin' minute... can the crowd just STFU for a minute and enjoy this epic song? I get where he's coming from when he wants them to shut up and "feel" it.

Absolutely. Which is why I refuse to listen to Alice In Chains post Layne Staley. No Layne no deal. But as much as I dislike Staind and Aaron Lewis's music in general, I gotta hand it to him, this isn't that bad.
Awesome as always. Goosebumps, Aaron gets better with each song. Love him. He has helped me get thru some shit thru out the years. Always knows how to make the days better.
Aaron is in a league all of his own.. he is a musical genius and has a song for pretty much every type of feeling or situation. I can definitely relate to him helping me through many tough times as well 🤙
As great as th Seattle fab 4 were, Layne's voice & lyrics from AiC resonated more w/ me than all th rest. I loved Chris' voice & Soundgarden, Audioslave, etc.. but Layne really got to me, soooo much emotion. RIP Layne💙
Absolutely! I think I was 8 years old when I heard dirt, or facelift maybe, and it set the stage for my entire taste in music and talents. What was your first AIC song? Oh!!! Around this same time, soundgardens “spoon man” lived in my CD player, along with bush 16 stone and razor blade suitcase
@@loganmattingly5270 I got to see AiC before I knew who they were! It was awesome & kinda messed up b/c they opened for Ozzy on his No More Tours, tour, & we really thought Ozzy was hanging it up & retiring or moving on to something else, so nobody gave af about th opening act. AiC really won people over by th end of their set, Layne was on crutches & had a wheelchair he'd roll around in singing😅 He also cracked some security guy w/1 of his crutches over th head for getting rough w/a fan. It was awesome & they finished w/ Man in th Box, which reached out & grabbed me, so it would've been my 1st AiC tune. After I saw them, I went & bought Face-lift & soon to follow Dirt, soon as it hit shelves. Oh, you'll like this, yrs later in early 2000's I dated a girl who lived in Seattle in late 80s-90s, & her boyfriend played in a band & practiced @ th same wear house that AiC did before they were famous. She got to hang out& party w/AiC & her boyfriends band after they rehearsed. This was 2-3yrs before AiC broke big & she said Layne was sweet, flirty & goofy, a really, nice guy. When AiC was on their ' Dirt ' tour they came through my hometown & I was sad b/c I couldn't afford to go but a bunch of people ik went . Several guys that I went to H.S. with were in-line to get in & they dragged a couch out of an alley, set it on fire & started jumping up & down on it in th street😅 I think 2 got arrested for it. It turned out for th best I didn't go b/c Layne came out staggering & couldn't remember th lyrics & ended up falling down! Then Jerry freaked out & went into a rage b/c of Layne & he started smashing stuff & that ended th show after 4-5songs.
