It's nice that Kris is more of a actual person than frisk who kinda just IS you

Me who was there when Chapter 1 first released:
What I like about THIS secret boss is that, unlike Jevil, he actually made an emotional impact on Kris, not the player, but actually the normal Kris.
Is one of the few chances we have to see Kris being someone without the player, and seeing them nervous and scared after the battle, with Susie and Ralsei comforting them makes me want to see what Toby will prepare for us in the next chapters, specially the secret/final bosses.

Im pretty sure the reason why kris was so nervous and Different about spamton its becuase just as spamton himslef says, him and kris are both puppets being controller by something bigger, spam being controle Ed by, something we dont know yet, and kris being controller by us, the player

1:35 I heard a theory that Kris yells when you pick no because you actually pick the answer Kris wanted to say, hence why Susie says Kris looks "strained" when you, the player, pick yes. It's very likely Kris is disturbed at how Spamton was a puppet on strings similarly to how he is controlled by the player. Spamton's ultimate fate was death.. Maybe Kris feels like that could be his fate as well?
Spamton actually did not died he was alive by giving his part to your inevntory kris is immortal until he die without his soul so he is depressed because he can't throw that soul because it is the reason why he is alive

Kris is more disturbed by Spamton. I think it’s because of his obsession with freedom and the fact he is being controlled, like Kris.
Jevil and Spamton clearly have a connection. They both came into contact with someone who started to make them go insane. Because of the garbage noise, I seriously think Gaster is going to have a connection to a likely running theme of secret bosses. Plus, they both drop shadow crystals (not relating to Gaster but just the fact that the bosses are connected) which reinforces my theory.
Another thing I saw someone mention is the fact Jevil used only red heart, and Spamton used only yellow heart. Each secret boss may use all 7 souls for 7 chapters. This may also introduce us to an orange and light blue heart?

I love how every character gets their own little section of the game with Kris. I feel like it really allows them to shine more than they would if they all always had to share their screentime.

in case you didn't know, doing the swan ride first with ralsei, hugging him in the camera pose, then returning to the basement to fight spamton , and then being asked by susie if you're OK. Should you select no, ralsei points out you're yelling and will come to you and hug you.

Halp, I don't get the reference
Noelle and Susie’s scene in this video is probably my favorite dialogue scene in the game so far.
In addition to Noelle continuing to be absolutely precious, I appreciate that you get to see Susie’s more genuine, vulnerable side again. And just overall, it’s so heartwarming and so sad to see how they clearly like each other, but are both too insecure to be open about it.
I'm glad we're finally getting some Noelle development this chapter, even nicer that Susie is getting some more development too! This scene in particular like you said showed off her vulnerable side which we never really got to see in other moments.
I like how she and Noelle feel pretty comfortable around each other, and we can see that when Noelle opens up a lot more about her fears and how she just generally feels about things. The dialogue here really does convey how they're just two confused teens who like each other but don't know how to take that next step. Toby is doing a great job at building this up to be not just a fun, but realistic portrayal of young love!

I've heard a theory that "Queen" is a interpretation of Noelle's mother, strong, controlling, etc...
And the Queen knows of how the internet works and how it makes people happy and "takes away the pain" by watching TH-cam videos and such.
She even has her 3D wireframe version of her face greet you at the beginning of the game, cause she understands how this world works.....
And she drinks a lot of green wine...

Yeah į think the dark world in chapter 1 comes from kris' imaginationor something like that and 2nd chapter dark world comes from noelle's and ralsei can stay in both because both of them remember asriel and maybe because noelle doesn't know ant of the imaginary characters from kris' they can't exist in noelle's dark world

Deltarune chapter 2 is such a silly little chapter that actually exceeded my expectations. The jokes are just so funny and the characters feel so real.
I knew it was either gonna do it's damndest to approach Omori's level of quality or it was gonna fall flat.

Fun facts:
Remember the Kris Tea and Noelle Tea you got from the city? Well you can get Ralsei Tea and Susie Tea. The teas work better depending on how much the user likes the other character. Noelles tea works the best on Susie. Here's the kicker though: if you give Kris Ralseis Tea, it heals Kris the least amount, implying that Kris doesn't like Ralsei.

@@mariotheundying maybe that's the theme of the story though? Think about how at the beginning of Chapter 1 it says "Nobody can choose who they are in this world." Maybe that doesn't just apply to you, but Kris as well.
This would also explain the mirror dialogue at the beginning of Chapter 2, "This is what they call you." If that's Kris's thoughts then whatever you do as Kris influences how people see them.

I don't want to hurt Kris or their feelings, so I usually pick the things that I find they'd like more. Seriously, I didn't want to possess anybody, just create a new character at the beginning of Chapter 1, but the game said that "my choices don't matter." So... yeah, sorry Kris.
Also, I hope that "shine" Spamton turned into after the fight means he technically will be in the party, like Lancer was, and didn't just "turn into a cool armor" or outright die and that's it. Like, I wanna help both Spamton and Kris. If the game gives me that option I'd take it immediately.

I personally think that lightener is mettaton, because if you remember from Undertale, mettaton is a ghost possessing a robot body, and mettaton is in deltarune in the house that looks like napstablook's.

Theory: The "lightner" in the beginning is Kris when he used his knife to create this world ( create the dark fountain ) and he also told spamton and the merchant to not react if they saw him again. His plot was to create an obstacle to the player, but when it failed he told spamton. 0:52
Im sure it was Kris that opened the Dark World in the Librarby. But i dont believe it was him to mess up Spamton and Jevil. I think the Knight is both Ralsei and Kris. Kris creates the fountains and Ralsei is the Hooded Knight going in there messing stuff up for The Player to fix.
The robot is definitely a reference to Mettaton, and Hapstablook is in the game. So the logical theory is that Hapsta created his dream body (just like in Undertale, but he don't know Alphys in this world) with Paint, because the merchant is supposed to be Paint or something like that I think.

@@lionelladvelino4795 Seam might be saying He for the Ralsei half of the Knight. It would make sense that he hasn't met the Kris half of the Knight because Kris only makes the fountains, he doesnt go in the Dark World until the Player/Soul makes him.

Was worth it tho, rouxls’ reaction is hilarious and then there’s the hug ralsei choice right after it. 10/10 would lose again
