- On December 14, 2020 around 01:00 UT, the Geminid meteor shower will reach its peak this year. With over 100 shooting stars per hour, it is one of the strongest meteor showers of the year. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy here at the peak, but between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. I had a clear view and could see numerous falling stars.
Am 14. Dezember 2020 gegen 01:00 UT erreicht der Geminden Meteorschauer seinen diesjährigen Höhepunkt. Mit über 100 Sternschnuppen pro Stunde ist er einer der stärksten Meteorschauer des Jahres. Leider war es hier bei mir zum Höhepunkt zu bewölkt, aber zwischen 18 und 21 Uhr hatte ich freie Sicht und konnte schon zahlreiche Sternschnuppen sichten.

Very beautiful captures! It was pretty cloudy in the south west of Germany but I was still able to see 7 or so during a half an hour skywatch. Wonderful Universe.

Huge rain of Geminids meteor shower , was disappointed after I missed perseids due to bad weather, but it was really awesome yesterday night continuous showering of meteors 😍👌
