- The Orionid meteor shower is one of the five strongest annual meteor showers. Their maximum activity is between 19 and 23 October. At the climax, between 20-30 shooting stars per hour can be seen. It is best to observe them in a dark place in the early hours of the morning.
Der Meteorschauer der Orioniden zählt zu den fünf stärksten alljährlichen Meteorschauern. Ihr Aktivitätsmaximum liegt zwischen dem 19. und 23. Oktober. Zum Höhepunkt können zwischen 20-30 Sternschnuppen in der Stunde gesehen werden. Am besten lassen sie sich in den frühen Morgenstunden an einem dunklen Ort beobachten.

For the last several nights I've been out watching, & I've never seen a meteor shower this perfect!!! In spite of all the stupid light-pollution in my downtown neighborhood, I can hardly begin to count the number of flashes, streaks, & boogie-boulders I've seen this year, so far...& it's not over yet!!! I'm wondering if my beloved late Uncle Wesley is sending them right into my little piece of sky...he introduced me to this Cosmic Coolness when I was 5 years old, & I've been gazing up in awe & wonder ever since.
That's 68 years, so far...when/if I get to that Heavenly Realm , Unca Wes & I can spend the next few billion years applauding these spectacular shows together, from the other side!!!

Hopefully someday...I’ll see these in person. I’ve never seen shooting stars/fallen stars/meteor showers before. My whole family has but I never had the chance to. Thank you for this video.
Don't worry, you'll get your chance. They're much more beautiful in real life than in video. I'd say the geminids are your best bet. You don't have to worry about light pollution that much with meteors, I live close to a bright city and yet I can still see many a night.

it depends on how strong the light pollution is there. the darker the surroundings, the more shooting stars you can see. Peak is October 20/21. Best visible in the morning hours.
I had the time, date, altitude and the radiant all noted down i new exactly were and when they were gunna be visible but then it’s rained four 3 days and i missed them.

في 13 يوليو 2011، أعلن الفرع الصيني لمنظمة السلام الأخضر لحماية البيئة عن وجود أثار لمادة سامة (ايثوكسيلات النونيلفينول وهو مقوض هرموني) في عينات ملابس لاكوست [4] (و كذلك في ملابس علامات أخرى كأديداس ورالف لاورن وبوما ونايكي). تنتمي لاكوست إلى لجنة كولبير التي تعتبر تجمعا مهنيا للمقاولات الفرنسية المشتغلة في اقتصاد الفخامة والمنتجات الراقية (و احدى أهم مجموعات الضغط السياسي في فرنسا). تتوزع أسهم شركة لاكوست كما يلي
%65 في ملكية ورثة روني لاكوست.
%35 في ملكية شركة ديفانلي، مالكة الرخصة العالمية لتسويق ملابس لاكوست.
في سنة 1998، استحوذت الشركة السويسربة موس فرير هولدين(بالفرنسية: Maus Frères Holding) على 90% من أسهم ديفانلي، فيماسيطرت لاكوست على ال 10% المتبقية، في مساهمة تبادلية مركبة بين الشركتين (لاكوست وديفانلي).
في فاتح شتنبر 2005، استقال برنار لاكوست من رئاسة الشركة لأسباب صحية (توفي في مارس 2006) تاركا منصبه لأخيه ميشيل لاكوست كرئيس مدير عام لشركة لاكوست.
في 21 يونيو 2006، انضم فرانك ريبو (الرئيس المدير العام لدانون) لمجلس إدارة لاكوست

I missed it.... It was a cloudy evening but then it cleared up...I woke up just before 5am.. Couldn't catch any on my Osmo Action camera.

the peak is on the night of October 20th to 21st. but also in the nights before and after you can see a similar number of shooting stars.

What exactly the night of 20 Oct mean?
is it 20 Oct evening or 19th Oct evening and early morning 20th Oct?
Peak is the night 20/21 October. Best visible in the morning hours of October 21. But you can see similar rates in the night before or after the peak.

That was filmed at my hometown in Harpstedt, lower saxony. There is lightpolution, but not as bad.

I watched the shower, could see few from city lights.
I clicked multiple long exposures from Mobile phone camera, but it is dark with stars not much depth.
Can you tell the process you used?
Thank you. I made both, I recorded video and made photos for timelapses. You need a very sensitive full frame camera and fast lens to record video of shooting stars. The photos I have made I put in my editing software and export as a video.

You need a very sensitive camera with a fast lens to capture shooting stars in video. I use the Sony a7s. And a dark area with little light polution is important too.

yes, today is full moon. Tomorrow the moon will shine all night too. The observation conditions are not very good this year.
