When I think that you took a very long video of many hours and you had to rewatch it again and again to be able to take all of the parts that show a meteor, and make with all of them a small video to enjoy. Thanks SO MUCH for posting this spectacularly BEAUTIFUL sight...we had clouds on top of clouds during the peak, & I was this close to hauling a vacuum cleaner out here--the cord was too short. Then I tried yelling insults at 'em, & they freakin' RAINED on me!!!

i was fortunate that this start early so i can see the meteor shower been out from 10pm-1am here in my country and as far as i remember i saw 20-30 meteors so happy

Here in slovakia few days ago there were only clouds and during the meteor peak most of the times it was just cloudy and still it is now! I am so mad for missing this shower because of the clouds i only saw like 4 of them when in a while there was a hole trough these clouds. Thanks at least for this video so i can see how did it look like

Your footage is amazing, I'm a noob when it comes to stargazing but can you see the sky like this with the naked eye or do you need special equipment? 👍
Thank you. That night was very bright because of the full moon. But normally you need no special equipment for watching shooting stars. If you find a dark place and you give your eyes enough time to adapt to the dark you need no equipment.

Last Night's Shower was Amazing, one of the best I have seen. Meteors were FAT and SLOW
i got up at 1:30 am only to find it was raining in california....couldn't even see the full moon
Geminids tonight and tomorrow but its gonna be cloudy in my area smh. Everytime something cool happens in the sky its ALWAYS cloudy.

Here too. Sometimes I wonder if the government does this on purpose because they don't want us starting up at the sky. I literally miss sooo much because of cloud cover on active sky watching nights 😢

Interesting video! I photographed and did live stream of Geminids on the coast of the Sea of Japan, in Russia (its recording is available on my channel - I indicated the time of the brightest meteors). I was able to see 60 meteors during the night (due to the bright Moon, this is almost 3 times less than I saw last year).

In Australia here I was able to see a HUGE one soo bright and long, around midnight onwards on Saturday night. It was amazing I’ll never forget! And then lots of smaller ones

We had rain at peak but clear skies the next night. Got to see quite a few meteors on the morning of the 15th here in eastern US.
This proves the earth is not rotating

I filmed in the area of a large bog, where light pollution was very low. I think I filmed there for about 3-4 hours.

Me and my friends watched Jumanji 2, it was late night and while lefting the cinema to the car parking i saw fast light in the sky.
I thought i imagined it so i ignored it, then i open my phone and saw on news "Great Meteor shower tonight!" LOL
May I ask which kind of camera and function you use to catch these meteors? Your gear-list in the description doesn’t really make sense for me. I have already my own canon camera, but I can only take good pictures of meteors. I wonder how you can even record them by using no long shutter times in a picture, but just in a video.
I already saw a famous meteor-videocamera like the ‘WAT-902H Ultimate’ secure cam, but I bet that camera only record in black-white view. So hopefully you can clearly tell me which videocamera I should buy to record meteors in video’s like your’s with color view. Thanks for sharing your epic video’s, I’m really interested!
I use the Sony a7s with Sigma 20mm 1.4 . Filming with 80.000 - 250.000 ISO.
Thank you, does it also really matter which kind of camera (like Sony, Nikon and Canon) I would choose with 200.000+ ISO?
You need a very light sensitive camera, Sony a7s (II) is one of the best in this segment. What camera brand you choose is your choice. I have no experience with other cameras, so far I used nothing else for filming meteors
