Yeah, last summer. Me and some friends were laying on a blanket in a field. We stayed there for a few hours and on the next day we had to go to school. We were soo tired, but it was absolutely worth it :)

Yes, on several occasions. They are spectacular.
But I did miss directly seeing the one that lit up the sky for a large portion of Southern Michigan a few years ago. But I did marvel at the sudden daylight without a thunderstorm. 😉

nothing will ever get past the solid firmament in fact asteroids Meteors and craters are not what we been educated to believe. read verse soloman 113. if the demons cant breach the firmament then no can a fake asteroid or meteors can either. craters are non active ancient geysers not asteroid impacts. all the the craters around the world are bowl shaped, asteroids are always depicted at a slated Trajectory not free falling straight down. if they fell at a slanted trajectory it would make a ditch. if you have fb look on Terry e. eitcher page for more info

I saw my first shooting star a few weeks ago. I was with this girl I go to college with out in the country side just looking at the stars. I saw a small one and freaked out. About 18 months ago, my family and I were talking, standing roughly 100 ft from some RR tracks. Then a meteor hit, right about where the tracks were.
We didn’t hear anything at all. We were so mesmerized by the bright flames.
Once it landed, it was like it hadn’t happened. It was so quick and there wasn’t any aftermath as far as the eye could see. I will never forget that day.

I thought before that shooting star are very rare to see but there was a time when me and my friends hanging out in the middle of the sea at night because there is a floating cottage here in my place and I can't sleep that night so I decided to watch the sky full of stars and I was shock when I see a shooting star and it will drop every minute sometime they drop at the same time so I havn't sleep the whole night bc of that wonderful moment of my life

      It's stated in the Quran.
Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars. And as protection against every rebellious devil. [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side. Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].
Chapter 37 - Surah As Saffat
      Verse 6-10
This is the reasonof shooting stars, which the creater of the heavens -Allah revealed in the Quran.

In Qur'an Allah SWT said Surah As-Saffat (37:6-10): "Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars and as protection against every rebellious devil. So they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, repelled, and for them is a constant punishment, except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]."
These verses indicate that shooting stars (often interpreted as meteors) are a divine method of preventing evil beings from eavesdropping on heavenly matters. This reflects the idea that the heavens are guarded, and shooting stars serve as a sign of that protection.

I love this video. Ham radio operators have devised a way to make communications via the trails of meteorites as they go through the ionosphere charging it for a very short time. It becomes just enough time to make contact with other people as far away as 1000 km.
I would love to use this video as part of a special show devoted to describing “meteor scatter Communications.”
I will of course credit National Geographic as well as this video in the description section of my video.
If there is any problem with me showing my ham radio audience this video, please let me know.
I don’t want to do anything that would be wrong here.
Thank you for a brilliant and short illustration about meteor showers and when they happen. This is so helpful for our scientific community.
    Sincerely,
    Larry

I have seen this once. I can't remember the year (some night between 2014-16 ). At that time I thought that it's too many comets passing, but it looked like all the stars are moving in a high speed.
