Buddies Flying Planes 2/11/24

00:15 - Flyfans L39 - Modifications: Freewing 2500kv 64mm edf, Avian 80amp Smart Esc, Tailflsme afterburner, Spektrum AR10360T receiver for crow and tailerons. Maiden flight troubles, I forgot to program reverse thrust on the correct channel in the Esc and that made for some interesting moments during the maiden. Speed runs saw 105mph on 6s and 115mph on 7s. Will tinker with esc settings and do speed runs again.
10:00 - Blitzworks 50mm F22 - Modifications: QX 5000kv 50mm Edf, Avian 60amp smart esc, tail flame afterburner, Spektrum AR630 receiver
11:25 - Wing experimens - WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF” - fly with no C-clips on the motor, add reverse thrust and let’s try that again with the prop flipped backwards 🤦🏻‍♂️😬🤣
14:30 - Freewing 64mm F18 - flybys and landing
15:41 - Eflite 64mm A10 - take off, flybys and landing
16:40 - Blitzworks 50mm F16 - flips and tricks

Nice L39. Thing rips nicely on your FW setup. The stock setup seemed to do excellent as well. A guy had one out at Hollister Saturday, and when he showed it to me, retracts and flaps etc.. said $199.... after I saw how well it flew, I ordered the Baltic Bees version on the spot. Now you have me thinking of a "backup" too.. lol. I have tooooo many airplanes.

Yeah buddy! You’ll really like it. It’s such an easy jet to fly and land. And it looks really good😎
The landing gear is excellent, lots of travel and good spring tension, it soaks up even a harsh landing with no damage to show for it.
Too many airplanes lol. Yeah. It’s just too easy to stock up on these things😂🤦🏻‍♂️.
But this L39 is definitely a winner and worth having a spare 😜
