  • 00:32 - J-power/Blitzworks 50mm F22 with afterburner: 4 cell 850mah and 3 cell 850mah flights - QX 12 blade 5000kv edf, Avian 60a smart esc, Tailflame afterburner. Pulled a max of 48 amps on 3s and 73 amps on 4s
    09:15 - Eflite Model 12 Viking 280: A Viking Funeral
11:35 - Hawk 1m DLG: Getting into discus launch gliders, very different type of RC flying and a lot of fun.
16:00 - 64mm Banshee: Footage from a few months back of 7 cell runs - stock airframe, no intake mods, Freewing 2500kv 64mm Edf, Avian 80a smart esc, 7s SMC LIHV 2800mah. Makes 1950g thrust in the model. Saw a top speed of 141 mph, pulled 86amps max. Will try 8s with a larger cheater hole in the near future.
21:10 - Eflite EC-1500: Touch and go landings and flight.
27:50 - Wingsmaker 70mm J10: Failure to launch: I built this model last year and haven’t flown it since last March. Since then my IX14 died and it had to be repaired, loosing the setup file for this model. I originally set it up with thrust reverse…a detail I forgot when I remade the file for this plane…I spent the morning trying to get this poor jet jn the air only to finally discover the fan was spinning backwards. I stretched that bungee longer and longer until I couldn’t make it any tighter 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 I finally realized what was going on and smacked myself on the forehead then went into the settings, setup the reverse function and she was headed in the right direction. Knuckle head mistake but the plane took the beatings like a champ.
    32:45 - Wingsmaker 70mm J10: Speed runs - Tamjet TJ70 (Changesun 12 blade/ e-flite BL32 motor), Hobbywing Funfly 120a esc. Ran it on SMC LIHV 3600mah 6s (136 mph) 7s (no gps speed) and 8s (159 mph). Still my favorite edf jet.

Cool I´m looking forward to watch your video! I did yesterday my maiden edf flight ever and it was so windy and gusty that I had no so much fun. But at least I landed her two times without damage. An AS3X receiver would have been good for enjoying her more. Before I flew my Parkzone Extra300 but it wasn´t enjoying either. Next time it will be better I hope.
I couldn´t resist anymore to fly an EDF :P:

@@ILLSMOQ Thank you! For me sadly it wasn’t so fun. I was concerned about the trimm, the gusts and the trees. And of course on learning how to fly a jet 😂🤣😅 But it was cool in the end. If I would had crashed seriously I would be depressed. But I’m still motivated on EDFs now :) I’m looking forward to fly with less or no wind and fly that things like on rails as they should be🚝. Yesterday she was been blown in every direction. I could put a AR631 or 636 in, but I don’t want to install a jet profile and those things. I’m too lazy. And in the club they will say that’s cheating xD Have you seen the two shorts? What I have found super cool is that this small lady goes up very easy from the gras, at least with headwind. Our runway is everything but smooth 🤣🤣
Cheers!! And thanks for motivating me on EDFS, before I wasn’t interested at all because I thought they would be extremely difficult to fly. But watching you one on your place opened up ideas 💡 :))

Man, I never used a safe receiver before this last year…now I put them in everything. They are just too good not to have safe there when you need it.
Great! Yes edf jets are cool and fun!
