EPF Mercury 64mm alloy edf fan
Avian 60a smart Esc
SMC 2800mah lihv pack
Spektrum AR637T receiver
Had this guy up in the loft for ages collecting dust…not sure how I went so long without building this thing but finally I found it and was ready to build it…only to discover parts of the motor mount were missing…what to do???
Make it EDF powered! 🤪

Try 80 mm 6s edf .Rocket ship.
That's fast on a 4s 64mm. Those Mecury EDFs can really move some air. I have the Mercury 90mm EDF on 10s in a Back Horse L-39 Albatros EDF Jet. It moves the big jet around with authority. After seeing this I must build a 64mm Banshee Sport Jet with the Mercury 64mm EDF. It's a very slippery airframe.
Yeah buddy! They are awesome edf units. A 64mm edf that makes as much power as a 70mm is pretty great.
Nice!
Thanks! Fun stuff!
What system are you using to measure your speed?
Spektrum AR637T Telemetry Receiver and a Spektrum SPMA95871 telemetry gps
@@ILLSMOQ thank you.
Amazing that the canopy holds on 😅 Super nice bling EDF :)))
Those alloy Mercury edf’s are super cool and make a lot of power for a 4s fan and they are very light. Not sure why they never really caught on…high amp draw is the only negative aspect to them but it’s not that bad.
The canopy system, yeah it doesn’t seem like it should work but it does, I’ve had Funjets at 200mph and the canopy stayed in place as it should lol.
Wow!! :D
Is it possible to show the set up on another video? Especially the underside on how the edf is attached? Is there also carbon fiber strip there? Or just on top with glue?
I did post some pics of RC Groups here

Basically I emended carbon bar on the top of the wing to bolt down the edf. And simply used hotglue on the bottom of the edf to attach the bottom to the fuselage.
