Have you ever had trouble practicing in a shared space? How do you manage that situation?

Stuffing an old pair of briefs down the bell can dampen the sound somewhat too …

Very well produced video. The three shots of the apartment for sound comparison during the Sax Mute One section were really useful, thanks!

I have a Whisper room and a Emeo I recommend the Emeo it's the best for noiseless practicing you are going to find.

If you do that, get some hearing protection cause you can permanently fuck your ears up.

If you got a big enough closet or pantry, get some acoustic sound pads and put them in the walls of the closet or pantry. Then you have a mini practice room

Saxmute one is good. I have the Japanese brand of that with a line out plug that can be connected to tuner. It’s few hundred dollars, better than to renovate the room to be soundproof

Could you expand on the system you use to hear what you play through your phone?
How do you connect the microphone to your phone? Do you need an interphase between both? If yes, what should this interphase do ?
Any recommendation regarding the equipment needed is welcome !

Terrific video man. Well worth having made. Didnt know about the "shisper room" . Best solution for any type of home. Essentially a portable closet. Maybe not's not portable. :) But doable for most people. Would be excellent for any type of hand-held instrument....brass or woodwind. ...perhaps not a woodwind bass...heh...not sure how much space there is in one of these "rooms)..
