    Tried the same. But still no use from i am not able to solve the issue.
    When i used =LEN() both the columns is showing same same digits as 10 .
    Even though it is showing 10 i have done the TRIM for both columns but no use.
    please try to solve my issue.
    i am using MS Excel 2007

    Re: TRIM() Function combined with VLOOKUP(). -
    Personally, I would perform trim as a separate operation. Do this prior to using VLOOKUP().
