I've never been able to actually succeed with Vlookup and XLookup, the exemples you use are so applicable to my work that it makes it easier to grasp the concept of moving data - you're videos are great! Thank you.
I'm so glad to hear that! It is always easier to learn when the examples are relevant to your work. I'm so glad you found my Channel and that my videos are helpful for you. Thanks so much for taking time to leave a nice comment and for watching my videos!
The best Excel tutorial I’ve ever seen! Your voice is so clear and pleasant to listen to. It helps me immensely, You’re an amazing star . Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge 🏆 👍 🏆
Oh, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so glad you found my videos helpful! Thanks so much for watching and I appreciate your support! My best to you!
This is the only video that made me do this easily. You have no idea how you have helped me. All the other videos are just explaining unnecessary things and don't really show exactly like this! Thank you so much ❤
2nd sheet was set up as a Table, so I had to change the Table Array to reflect that. Otherwise, got it working. Very nice, saves a lot of time and effort.
THANK YOU SHARON!! I also watched several tutorials on how to use VLOOKUP as you described, and not being familiar with its use, it TOTALLY WORKED! You explained it best for me to understand and use on my own. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I'm so glad to hear you found my video helpful and you were able to successfully use VLOOKUP! That is awesome! Thanks so much for taking time to leave a nice comment and thanks for watching my videos!
I have a repoet that takes me 8 hours to update became I go line by line comparing two spreadsheets. Vlookup intimidated me but watching your video I will try using it tomorrow. You have the clearest instructions from all the videis I watched. Ty and wish me luck.
Good luck! Don’t be afraid to try both VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP. You can save a test version of your spreadsheet to play with. Once you master it, it will save you so much time! Thanks for watching!
This is the first Excel video that after watching I successfully completed a lookup! Thank you with yourvideo, I finally did it!! I am so grateful for your video. You made it very simple and easy for me to understand. I know everybody learns and understands differently, but I was beginning to think I would never get it. I have attempted multiple times over the past year they all end in failure...sometimes i even "Break" the departments macros and databases....😱 Finally I won't have to ask the super technical office person that isn't IT but everybody asks them for help...😬 I agree with @isabellayotte having a relevant example that is comparitve to the type of work I do makes a big difference. Thank you so much for your very intuitive and most importantly user-friendly video. I am now a subscriber!
Oh, thank you so much for taking time to leave such a nice comment. I'm so glad you found my video and examples helpful. I'm proud of you for succesfully learning VLOOKUP & XLOOKUP! Thanks for watching and for subscribing to my Channel. Best of luck to you!
I have never given a comment on TH-cam. you are the first. you really saved me from 3 days of work, thank you so much, tag me in your videos, I will give it a big like always.
You are so awesome! Thanks, been meaning to learn how to use these functions, but now that I have a need I'm forced to learn it, lol. Yours was the first video I found and you explained it so clearly and succinctly.
Very helpful and very clearly presented. It seemed like you did that in one take, so your are either really good at video editing or crazy good at writing and following a script.
this was very good and easy to understand. My questions are 1) how do I secure the form so that it cannot be manipulated 2) the employee fills the form. how do store the data in the completed form?
Hi Sharon, I want to move a whole line of data that has been submitted answering a series of question by our maintenance team to another data sheet, however there are 4 buildings and I want to sort the data so the answer a listed in the correct table for each building.. easy to collect the data but i cant move it to the correct table... i need to sort the data and then if the building is listed move it correctly etc ... an idea how I can do this (please)
Thanks for the tutorial, it's very informative. But I have encountered issues on extracting columns involving dated (its writing N/A). Again sometimes it is extracting information from the wrong column I am intending to. Can I get clarification on this please?, perhaps there's something I'm doing without knowing... Thanks much.
I have a question, if you don't mind. Based on what you have done here, I am doing something similar, but assuming one of the employees has no job title in column D the adjacent cell. I want xlookup xlookup to return a blank value in managers names. Please help me on this. Thanks in advance.
suppose the work email is also missing and if we want to get the work email by dragging the same formula to the right, what will be the process? please tell
OMG! Your videos explain very clearly how to both formulas. I have struggled for years. So keep them coming.
So glad you found my videos helpful! Thanks for watching!
