The trademark ran out so she jumped in because that's her last name. And the best part is she thinks ninjas are Chinese and doubled down on the song by saying "I have tons of Asian friends and they do such funny impersonations of Ken Jeong, so I was just telling their joke!" I don't know how she did it, but she somehow made it offensive to the Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans in one fell swoop. That's it, I'm gonna get a shamisen and sing a song about wanting to be a washed up former beauty paegant model.
Pulling out the "Long Words for Blondes" book was a decent joke imo, and I think the birthday video at least had a sweet sentiment behind it, as attention seeking as it might be.
I felt like there’s enough self awareness in the shorts to justify liking her at this point. Her current stuff leans into the character with a big wink wink nudge nudge energy to it. I don’t know. She’s working with what she has.
