LEGO City Update! Placing the Hocus Pocus Cottage!

- In this update I create a custom MILS plate for the Hocus Pocus Sanders Sisters' Cottage and place I'm the LEGO City! It fits perfectly on the raised platform above the amusement park... and now the raised platform is finished!! In addition to placing this set I make some minor tweaks to the plates on either side of the amusement park entrance.

One suggestion is a crosswalk for just outside your theme park entrance. Then your Minifigures do not need to dodge cars when crossing the street trying to reach the theme park. Two of the cross walk plates to replace one road plate may look good here. You can even add some of the yellow speed bumps onto the neighboring road plates.
The raised platform looks epic! The cottage was the perfect fit for the last corner. The amusement park is really coming along, was skeptical about the entrance and train station/tracks, but I think it works. OMG the twins are growing up so fast!!
The cottage looks great in the corner beside the blacksmith. You were spot on with the angle placement.

Jordan, it's wonderful watching your family grow up with mine. Loved the fountain, but removing it just doesn't give it the right vibe, my humble suggestion is to center it with the Entrance to the Disney castle. But it's your Lego city and you know what's best for it. 😊

I have a suggestion for the amusement park: You should try making your own custom Bricksie rollercoaster ! Also maybe you can add a couple of themed restaurants too. And for the haunted house , when you get to it, you should make a spooooooky grave yard that leads up to the house. These are obviously ideas but it would be cool if you agreed 👍 oh and maybe a big parking lot too 😂

Suggestion for the creek. It could go under the fence and out over the raised platform, and then flow over tunnel entrance. That would be sort of a unique look for the tunnel also.

With the knight castles and the blacksmith could be part of the amusement park as a sort of medieval section and of course have the one near the plane a fence or wall

Idea that come to me, what if you placed Rivendell on raised platform, in place of Airstrip? Airstrip is nice, but compering it to rest is rather simple and not that much interesting, while Rivendell fits overall medieval theme, and have this forest-like vibe that fits green staff around. Unless it would be too deep to fit there.

I think you need a handrail on the raised platform along the path. I can only imagine the demise one would end up in if they fell onto the raised train line or even further down.

Bricksie, that (new) Lego Friends Botanic Garden, if you do go for the two sets for the double MOC, will you put in on the roof of some building?
Would let you save room, but which building?
Where would it look extra good?
In a way, the BrickBank has the style needed, same for that music place (same general style as well).
So do you have any location left, where you could add it?
Or are you going to put the Boutique into the Hotel?
Mmm, now that could be fun, a roof garden.
But you already gave it a roof setup.
On the other hand, you could still copy your staircase from first to second floor, to the roof, in order to save some room on the second floor.
Do upgrade those three palmtrees, their tops, Bricksie.
It might actually give you a nice center structure for the roof, in which to let the staircase end up in.
Would divide the roof into two sections, though, but one side could be the music danse floor, while the other side has the bar and sitting aria.
So give it some thoughts, it might be how you could make it the BOUTIQUE Hotel.
Might even let you use some of those left over parts, you had from those three sets.
So, that a idea for you to think over?

In front of the entrance of Bricksieland, why don't you create a kiss and ride, right next to your new sidewalks? It could be done with white and grey plates --> just like those "no parking zones" that you sometimes see in city centres.
This will allow visitors to be dropped at the gate of the park or even have a bus dropping zone or even a bus stop?

nice looking corner. I think you need one of those nice long hedges you make to separate the railway from the disney castle - there's a gap at the moment between the station and the crossing. Could do trees, but then the minifigs on the train couldn't see the castle and that wouldn't do... ;)

Love the set, but since I already have my own haunted corner in my city with the Lego scooby doo Mystery mansion set and hidden side grave yard, I think I will pass on this set because I just have so many projects I am trying to do all at the same time right now. Plus, I would rather make a mansion full of traps that give me the scooby gang in Lego since I love scooby doo and then get a Lego set for a movie I have never seen.

Will you modify the path on the platform covering so it ends at the entrance trail for the cottage rather than running to the wall? Or is that to leave the option of shuffling sets up there?
Is the cottage snapped onto the mils? I want yo be able to open the side doors that swing out 🤔
you just have to take the train to the amusement park and the walk because why would you drop someone of, then you would go yourself but you can't park so just take the train

Is it easy to build this up on top of a MILS plate?
For a witch's house, the grounds are too nice. There should be less green and more dry/dead grass and the river in my opinion should be completely dried out... these are witches, they dont upkeep their landscaping
