    The LEGO City has undergone some big changes. Uptown Ladyburg is under construction with lots of landscaping, a giant paw print lake for the dog park, and a custom built LEGO bridge. This video was so much fun to make, and I hope you enjoy it!

    I had so much fun creating the dog park in Uptown Ladyburg! What do you think of the path technique, the paw print lake, and the bridge? How can we make the park better?

      Its cute but seems a bit of a wasted soace potential. Way too big. With all the sets you have and buy on the regular id save space for futur moc or modulars

    In between the elevations you should do a wall like the one you have by the river, you could put vines and flowers growing on it!!:)

    I like the detail of putting the botanical garden on the corner there, but imagine if you could build a 100$ city?

  • @AnthonyBowman
    @AnthonyBowman ปีที่แล้ว +2

    A cable car/tram type thing like what is in the new Nijnago City Markets, with stops at each of the 3 levels would be really great! You could have fun with the design of the gondola (the car that hangs down and carries the passengers), too. And it would give you an opportunity to then connect this part of the city with other parts as well, like where the modulars are, etc.

  • @brickingwithtoby5280
    @brickingwithtoby5280 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You should a build wall behind the dosney train station and intergrate shops between the arches so it makes the wall more vibrant and colourful instead of being a grey wall.

  • @thecanuckafol
    @thecanuckafol ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Awesome update! The park is looking great - lake - bridge - path A++, I always love the SNOT technique!! I think for the different elevations it would look cool if you used the similar brick elements you used for the path, but maybe a darker color to make it look like a retaining wall, with a path or road next to the front edge that winds it way up the different levels. You could also mount lamp posts or street lights along the wall. I also think it would be fun if you guys hid Ladybird somewhere new in the city with each update, and the viewers could try and find her. I apologize if I misspelled Ladybird, or is it Ladybyrd? Keep up the great work!

    Wow, really like how this is coming together! The paw print lake is super adorable! One thing I don’t dig so much are the collumns and chains on the bridge. A stone build arch bridge just isn’t a suspension bridge and would never have that kind of detail.

    I absolutely love the Paw Lake, and the bridge that Mr Saurus made, I've made a very similar one (without the chain suspension as its a bit more olde worlde). So nice to see ideas to bounce off

  • @Cymindis
    @Cymindis ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I love the idea of the paw print lake! and the yellow brick road is fun :) I really liked your idea of no roads in uptown ladyburg.. so, sorry Ross, but I would Yeet that road near the buildings he placed there for a layout idea. And it's totally easier to edit something than starting from scratch so using buildings you already have that you like and slowly adjusting them to fit the overall layout/image you have in mind is great!
    For the transition up, maybe a mix of green hills with a few natural rocky patches? sort of like uptown ladyburg is at the base of a mountain which is why it's steep narrow paths rather than wide flat roads

    It was great meeting you & Ross again at BWC23. Ross was super surprised by the DS2 GWP.
    Love the use of color in the Dog Bark & Paw Puddle. Ohhh idea - if LEGO ever makes lavender masonry bricks, add them to the bridge.
    The chocolate bars are gold ingots. Just add the color in front of them.
    I stopped at the Mall of America LEGO Store both before & on the way home. (half way point) I grabbed a combo of 15 cups from MOA & Schaumburg. I might have to go to a meeting, LOL, "Hi, my name is Paul & I have a LEGO problem."

    It looks as if Ladyburg Lake is actually a spring since it flows to a waterfall that goes to the river and into the bay. So you could call the lake, the park and the upper area Ladyburg Springs. Just like Austin has Barton Springs.

    You could make a road at the edges of the city to suggest that the city starts there and then you vould have the buildings around the central bark you made. I think it would look nice if the park is enclosed all the way with buildings. Just like real central park maybe connect uptown with downtown...
