It happens in every school shooting. Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook... the cops are always looking around outside of the building while gunshots are going off inside. Cops are afraid of unhinged teens with guns and call for back-up whenever they see any decent-sized man who is angry. The cops of old were warriors. Today's cops take TikTok videos on the job and can't look a grown man like me in the eyes without flinching or ground watching.

During the 20th century more people were killed by their own governments than were killed in warfare., but it did not happen in the U.S. During WW2 some gun owners in the U.S. shipped their guns to the British to help fight the Nazis. In cities and towns across the United States, there are police forces like this. Ones with no true connection, or even respect, for the citizens they "serve." Uvalde is a city of just over 16,000, but sadly, is a small version of Ferguson, Missouri. And there are many others. Answer the question, be truthful, if you take away the time spent waiting, would the 21 victims been saved? Be transparent about what really happened, lay it out on the line, asap. Dont offer up scapegoats. One or two of the authorities taking the blame & being fired will not resolve what happened that day. Release those 911 calls, get to the bottom of this event. Also, get to the truth about the gunmen, there were red flags; complacent adults; a school mates made it clear that the gunmen was not a victim of bullying; others feared him, What about the business who sold the guns & ammunition? Interview them. What did they think when an 18 kid buys this stuff? Did they have zero intuition that something bad was going to happen? Was the money they made the only thing that mattered? Can they just wash their hands of that day? They did nothing. They said nothing? Where did the kid get the money to make the purchase in the first place? Now I understand about why those cowardly, political, worthless lawmakers do not want these psychological testing. These politicians fear, if they lose the ability to own, some form of protective tool of massive destruction, (which could and might already be in their hidden possession), these lawmakers fear, if they are found incompetent to own a legal fire arm or even any style of tool used to inflict mass destruction illegally, then to have a seat in their so called precious, cowardice oath of office. Then these cowardly incompetent acts, will be reason to legally removed them from office. Hum🤔, now that is a strong possibility.
Those children that survived this heinous Allowance act, have had a bad taste of facing death, and have lost their friend murdered right in front of their cognitive mindset. On tv when you find out that your friend is about to pass, here children have at least the chance to say good bye and recover from loss of a friend.
In this school shooting and all previous school shootings these children never had the opportunity to say goodbye. When those responsible for allowance of this other 18 year old to commit this heinous act, these children were defenseless, and those children neither had the opportunity to say good bye. These and all the children killed in every present and past scenario only had fear of death at that moment a bullet pierced their vial growing organs and growing mindsets. Even those adult teachers knew the risk of trying to convince the shooter by throwing their body to prevent deadly force being used.
Now how many politicians are gonna take total responsibility for 22 murders caused by allowance, (whether legal or not), for these heinous murders of allowance acts. How many politicians will step up and become a responsible cowardless adult and take Accountability. How many of you people will be able to go asleep without some form of help to sleep (for example: pills, drugs, or/and alcohol)?

That is like someone saying that they will only join the Marines under the condition that they don't risk any actual harm.

How can anyone expect these parents to live in this community with these officers still "protecting" them and their remaining family members. Not to finish the fact of them drawing a pay check on these people's taxes. Unfathomable.

Don't want to hear anything about chain of command. Brave men and women do what is necessary, when it is necessary. And, if they can't they get out of the way so someone else can. When it comes y children they deal with the "rules' and or consequences after the fact, period.
