I get why people don't like it (the action and cinematography for a start) but Matrix 4 is genuinely a heartfelt big swing for the fences kind of movie and there's more to like about it than people give it credit for.
Bear in mind this video deals with sequels that were better than they had the right to be. Sequels like Aliens, Terminator 2, The Empire Strikes Back, Toy Story 2, etc., had expectations that were met. Having said that, I don't agree with everything on this list. I'm surprised Predator 2 (the on set in Los Angeles) didn't make the cut...
I went into that with such low expectations and figured it would be a D+ movie at best with a bunch of references to The Shining thrown in. Damn! I was definitely surprised by how good it was!
Die Hard 3 was a great boost to the franchise. The 2nd installment was a contrived rehash of the first one. But I think that 3 wouldn't have worked as well as it did without Jackson and Irons in their great supporting roles. Cheers....
Only thing i dont like is the last 15 min(after the boat explodes) Its just a very simple ending that has no tension or anything special to remember. I give Die Hard 3 a 8 but would be higher with a better ending.
@@Holland4evahhI can go along with that. But then, every ending is gonna be a bit contrived - the hero wins, the bad guy dies. It's just a matter of does the villain fall 90 stories or get blown up on a plane or in a helo, etc, etc. Pick a gruesome death, insert and voila. Cheers....

Terminator 2 is one of the greatest Sci fi/action movies/movies of all time BUT it is arguably the realization of what James Cameron wanted to accomplish with the original which was criminally under funded.
@@BEWD1989 I always hate when films have good ideas and horrible execution. A new, upgraded Morpheus goes along with the lore of the Matrix being reformatted and upgraded every couple decades or so. Love the title to this one! Good show, Chaps!
Pee Wee Herman III was great, too!
Ace ventura 2 when nature calls
Mib 3 was a retcon? Watch the scene where k fights hard for smith to be an agent. It doesn't really make sense in the first movie even at first watch. It makes way more sense after the third. K had been closely watching him his whole life and knew more than what zed could see.
Did he use a thesaurus all the way through to sound smart for this video?
US Marshals? That's a nah from me. Saw it when it came out and I remember feeling that they'd insulted my intelligence when they practically drew in crayon the plot twist surrounding the gun.
Gremlins 2 - The New Batch 👌
Bill and Ted 3 was painful.....
Fugg off whatculture 🤣🤣
Matrix 4…. Fugg right off 🤣🤣🤣
Totally missed The Road Warrior, as Mad Max was much slower-paced.
