The idea that they don't date is wrong. They don't talk about their relationships to protect those people. They also protect their parents and siblings in similar ways. Their label has always allowed them to date. It's just not true that they aren't allowed to; they've said that it isn't prohibited. Whenever some rumor gets spread, though, whoever the supposed love interest is gets attacked. The BP rumor is also just that until V himself says otherwise - a rumor. Plus, as much as they do share about their lives, they actually are pretty private about their true private lives.

Just a couple of notes. It was not a rebrand, but more of a desire to expand to more diverse genres of music. They still have hard hitting hip hop/rap songs in their most recent albums. Even if they’re less vulgar in the group songs, they have repeatedly said that they are less angry now. They still curse in their solo songs. Their rap songs also do not revolve around a concept per se, but more of a theme. For example, UGH is a great example of a rap song that discusses the merits and flaws of anger. Read BTS’ lyrics. It is what separates BTS from other groups/even other western artists.
Their early albums didn’t just contain hip hop songs. They also had softer pop songs too in the beginning. A lot of the rules/regulations that were discussed during the video do not apply to BTS. They’re known for being an outlier in kpop and even still, please do not generalize a whole industry based on assumptions and a few bad cases. That’s like if I assumed the tragic experiences of Britney Spears applied to all pop singers.
I agree their evolution was a natural progression of their growth from youth to adulthood so it was not a rebrand but their music grows with them. Their individual music is about their personal preferences so you will see a lot more rawness in the lyrics of their solo music because that is where they can express their individuality more precisely.

I would also like to note that Kariana’s (sorry if I butchered your name) information is a bit outdated. RM (the first rapper) no longer goes by Rap Monster, it now stands for Real Me. Taehyung is now apart of the dance line, and they do have songs that have explicit language but they only use it to get their point across. Nothing too crazy. Idk if I missed anything else but other than that, thank you for the reaction, can’t wait for the next. 💜
I think this lyrics summarises the meaning of the song perfectly. "I grew a flower that can't be bloomed, in a dream that can't come true". This really shows how impossible the love they were trying to hold onto was, but they held onto it until it left them unable to even recognise themselves (hence how they realised that "it was all fake love").

They do sometimes use curse words in their music…but they never overuse them like many American artists do. BTS music has never been “vulgar” but there are a couple of lyrics from an AugustD rap song and an RM rap song that could be considered vulgar…and those lyrics are usually just calling out haters…not just being vulgar for the sake of being vulgar like many American artists.
I have been to so many of their concerts over the years and omg no one in the music industry can pull off what bts can do ever
I don't mind the cut audio, and I love that we got an ARMY here to guide y'all... but could she please not sing along during the reaction? 🥲 If someone is experiencing music for the first time, they should get to listen to the artist and the production. It's not the same if there's someone vocalizing and humming beside you the entire time. Even as a viewer, it's incredibly distracting and I can't focus on the actual reactions; as someone watching it for the first time, I think there's already enough info to try to absorb without that on top of it.
Also, Namjoon changed his name for a reason and he doesn't go by Rap Monster anymore. He's RM, which stands for Real Me now. So please don't call him that.

@tati_mo8986 even as a fan for a few years and has already gone through so much of their work and studied their concepts, I still avoid claiming myself as a "super fan". I prefer just saying "yes I follow their music and admire their work: I'm a fan of their work" just saying it in a reserved way. Because I've seen the mess the "super fans" cause all the time in social media, mostly twitter and... idk, I just feel more safe placing some sort of boundary from them and just stick with following alot of trusted army members that put alot of work in clearing the air and giving genuine content and info about our boys♡
I think its always best to show your love for the boys in a humble way💜 (no matter what stage of a fan you are in 😊)
Note she never claimed to be ARMY. At that point in time you should learn to re-adjust your expectations. Especially when she didn’t correct the fact that Yoongi/Suga is Agust D. In my opinion you have those who enjoy their music and have limited knowledge (fans) and then you have ARMY. Gently inform, provide the correct information, and move on. Like was done here. This song has so much symbolism and is connected to their fictional storylines (called Bangtan Universe) that goes from one album to the next album. All the backdrops and stage set ups are precisely placed according to the story. Water falls, blue flower, mirror, key hole, cell phones, fire & full of cancy bars are all related to their stories. Even their dance movements and background statue match "see no evil, hear no evil & speak no evil" symbol. The lesson from this song is be true to yourself and love yourself first to love another.

Bts are currently FROM WHAT HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY STATED FROM THEMSELVES single. Dont listen to anyone who says they THINK bts is with so and so... they havent publicly stated anything hinting to a relationship with anyone being and idol or anything less.

For how long has this girl been an army? I mean, she's kinda lost with the names, the lyrics, the fanchant, RUMORS, the meaning of the song... PLEASE, don't call him RAP MONSTER, he goes by RM, just RM (which means "real me") or Namjoon (which is his real name), BT21 characters (the ones of her mic and on her head, were created by them in 2017 in colaboration with another brand, they created themselves, V (Taehyung) is not dating! or at least there is nothing confirmed, she cannot go and give wrong information like that to people who are learning about BTS, she most learn more as well, if she was really a "super fan", then she'd had known all of these things. Also, there is a lot of symbolism in this music video, it has nothing to do with the song lyrics because the video scenes are part of their fictional story, that is named BU (BTS universe), and there are a bunch of music videos like this, that have nothing to do with the lyrics because they show some parts of the story line of this universe. The snickers room, the fire, water, the guy in black at the end, and more scenes are part of this story, the song is actually about being tired of a fake love, that you wanted to be real or like before, but there's nothing last, you feel sad and you start questioning yourself why it happened, you gave a lot for the relationship, but it seems it was not enough for the other, and love is not there anymore. Fr, no hate to that girl, but if she's going to guide you guys and call herself a "super fan", she NEEDS to learn real facts, hope you can watch Taylor's guide to BTS, that video will help you a lot to learn about their music, their meaning, who they are, what they do and mooooooooore :)

Hey guys. HYBE Labels like BigHit and Pledis (and pretty much all Korean music labels) do not require sound and video manipulation for reactions. You can re-upload all of these without cuts, edits, or muting. All you need to do is play the entire video with the label's intro. That's it! They will not copyright strike you unless you are trying to monetize. You do risk a strike for some live performances. But they come from the network that aired the show, not the music labels.

Us western audiences definitely have to watch their things at least twice. Once for visuals, once for lyrics.
Their concerts are insane. They go real hard, dance and live vocals. They are so talented and hard working. They train to dance and since, like straight up singing on a treadmill.
When you see their live performances, your respect for them just goes up. Their live performances put our western artists to shame.

Nothing against the lovely, nice ARMY in the video, but I personally don't like fan reactions. That's why I like to watch reactors new to BTS. Nearly all reactions that include fans, they end up being more of a distraction than a contribution. I like seeing the journey through non-fan eyes, not filtered (with possibly incorrect info) through someone else's experience.

I’m 40 from Jersey been ARMY since 2017 I’ve only been fortunate enough to attend 1 concert live and that was in Vegas last year. I had tickets for the Met Life stadium in 2020 for their Map of the Soul tour but ya know cuz of Covid that was cancelled. All other concerts I’ve enjoyed were livestream but still just as amazing

I went to the LV concert last April and went to Suga's solo concert last month in Newark.
And fun fact, this was all real, no green screen for this mv. You can watch the behind the scenes making this mv. They rarely use green screen. They’ve used it when it was the concept like their collabs with Coldplay setting is outer space so of course that is green screen. BTS goes all out on all they do. Their mv are always entertaining

South Korea is still very conservative in its taste but it has a real clean cut American vibe. I've been absorbing Kpop from a friend for years.

I'm OT7 forever - but if I had a bias it would be Jin. My favorite part of the song is when the sand turns into ? and flies out of Jungkook's hand. I went to the Agust D concert in Inglewood on May 10th - one of the best experiences in my entire 70 year old life! I LOVE the pink mic. And I like Dance Practices the most! Mic Drop Dance Practice! Better than the Official Music Video. P.S. V was officially inducted into the Dance Line in 2018.

I’m so glad that you guys enjoyed the MV and I can’t wait to watch more! And I love the fact that you also included Cariana (sorry if I’m spelling ur name wrong lol), but there were a couple of things I wanted to point out from this video that may have been a little off or outdated. First off, BTS has done many genres over the years (HipHop, R&B, Latin Pop, House, EDM, etc; ) so every song is a different. They have rap songs usually made/produced, like their Cypher series which is entirely by the rap line (RM, SUGA and JHope) and then they also have more songs that are vocally focused with the vocal line, like ‘Truth Untold’ ‘House of Cards’ and many more (Jimin, Jungkook, Jin and V).
Not too long ago Namjoon actually changed his stage name from Rap Monster to RM because he felt as though that the name no longer suited him that well but he still had his personal studio named after it for a little while ( Formerly called MonStudio but now it’s called Rkive ).
Every song usually has a fanchant which is a big thing in Kpop as a whole. Usually it’ll start with each members FULL name (not their stage name) and then end in BTS, as well as their being key words to chant and such. These are usually taught in videos by the group themselves or given in posts, etc. It’s all pretty easy to follow and find.

Although it’s fairly long, it should cover pretty much everything you need to know, history on kpop, BTS and the come up, the members of BTS and Army (which is the name of the fans).

Oh and the kpop fans and knets are a little crazy when it comes to idols and what they do, who they date, etc. So most contracts are pretty strict. Like even a simple past bullying or drug rumor can ruin an idols life and get them kicked out of the groups and such, plus tattoos and smoking cigarettes is kinda off too because it’s looked down upon in South Korea and people are supposed to be looking up to these artists as their ‘Idols’ and role models so only good influence are allowed, although they are slowly tryna break down that barrier especially for smoking, dating and tattoo.
