Y’all haven’t seen them go hard until you watch this song live at their Busan concert, before they all started enlisting. How they had the energy to go on is something only BTS knows how to do. I don’t know of many musicians who would go as hard as they do even after 10 years. BTS does because they’re doing it for Army, who gives them the energy and strength to keep going.
And that Busan concert was FREE, which makes the effort they put in even more incredible.
As a group, nobody can beat them with their choreo and stage presence.
You should watch Run BTS! That’ll knock your socks off!!!
Jimin and jhope are both main dancers.and the group works with many freelance choreographers as well as having their own in house performance directors and choreographers.
Jimin: main dancer
Jhope: sub dancer
@@Naruto-uzumaki22 mmm no. they both main dancers
@@Naruto-uzumaki22j hope is better dancer than jimin so how can he be sub dancer😂
@@liibanboojo1673Jhope is not a better dancer than Jimin. They're both amazing dancers with their own niches but Jhope's primarily a hip hop dancer, Jimin on the other hand is objectively far more versatile of a dancer than Jhope. Man has years experience and training in more than atleast 10 different forms of dancing including street, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, modern, Korean dance, jazz, house, krumping, break dance, acrobatics etc. he's also trained in more than 4 different types of martial arts Kendo, Hapkido, Geomdo and Taekwondo which he incorporates in his dancing. Jimin was the first one to debut as the main dancer, Jhope debuted as the sub dancer and was later announced as the other main dancer of the group. Jimin has several awards for his dancing and he's the only one with a national award for his dancing. There's a reason why Jimin's the one who has always gotten the hardest choreographies, stunts, acrobatics etc.
@@stargazing2628ask jimin who is better Between them you will get the ans
I've been Army since 2013 since their pre debut days. I do love all their songs honestly.
Salute to you friend 🫡
On feat SIA 👀😂
😂😂@@luacioli2962
@luacioli2962 we don't mention that one. 😂
YES, more BTS reactions please.
Jimin is also main dancer. Hope is dance leader - he doesn’t choreograph; he learns the choreography from guest and in-house choreographers and, with Jimin’s help, makes sure they, as a group, perfect their dance performances. Both he and Jimin also make recommendations for changes to the choreo, which are most of the time accepted.
Jhope is a master at street hip hop but Jimin is versatile and dances (and/or is well trained) in virtually every genre of dance there is, including hip hop, contemporary and ballet. He also incorporates his martial experience into his dancing. He is called a dance prodigy. There’s always big argument over who is the best dancer but really, at the end of the day, does it matter….they’re both incredible dancers.
to think j-hope isnt versatile in dance and is only good at street hip hop damn so many delulus
@@hopejack3249 No, it’s not delulu, lol. He has never trained in any other kind of dance and has focussed only on his specialty- street hip hop. There’s nothing wrong with that but it appears YOU don’t like the idea that someone is more versatile; So, I find it funny you’re calling ME delulu, when the only time he’s danced any other genre, was Black Swan and that choreography was very basic for the members…except for Jimin, who IS a trained contemporary dancer. Besides that, their choreography is Idol/hip hop inspired. You’re triggered because you’re a Jhope Stan. But facts are facts - we’ve all seen it (choreo) played out over 10 years. Chill.
You just hate it when anyone points out the differences in dance style capabilities and that Jimin has the most versatile capabilities. It’s not an opinion, dude. Their dance training history is well documented.
@@ArmantoAlex13 You seem very ignorant, prehaps you arent very educated in dance (totaly okay) but you should research b4 making a comment ;)
@@ArmantoAlex13 jhope is top tier 2 dancer. Jimin is top tier 4 as I heard. So you guys don't need to compare them. Jhope is like best in kpop
@@silu7360Jesus, do you have to argue, we are an army, we should support and love all members and say that they are talented, not argue about it. Jhope has his dancing style and Jimin has his. You can see it as if you had two recordings of them dancing to the same routine next to each other. Jhope's movements are in a way more energetic and in a hip hop style and Jimin's movements are more delicate, smooth, more in the style of modern and ballet dance. In my opinion, they are both the kings of dancing in kpop. And please, let's not argue anymore. All seven are fantastic.
I see bts, I click
I'm not even a BTS fan but I had this one on repeat for awhile it's a banger! Cool to see y'all branching out with this one
I'm thinking it'll help her and them to learn their names as RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, JK, and V. Their names are more digestable like this and u can later double down by learning their Korean names, former stage names, and nicknames too. I get that you guys didnt watch and follow them over the years so starting somewhere easier to remember is a good place to start! Welcome to these first time MV reactions 🙌
When BTS wear name tags in dance practice, then that dance practice is specifically for award shows and tv music show performances. So there is no mistake for those involved in production of who is who on stage, especially when there are other people on there such as the background dancers. The dance practice was to their original Mic Drop which has a little bit more of an old school hip hop feel imo and is mostly in Korean. The music video is the Steve Aoki remix version, which has more English lyrics in it. There is another version of the song featuring rapper Desiigner.
You guys need to watch them do a live performance. I recommend MAMA 2019 and keep in mind this is an award show. Also remember to turn on captions so you can see the lyrics
UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
BTS"s attention to detail and progression is like no other. When dropping a new album. They put out a clue video, so ARMIES can try to figure out the name of the video, and what the theme of the video is? Fun Fact: Mic Drop was the official song of Major League Baseball in 20/21 season.
Jimin is the only Korean in the Korea's history who has national award for his dancing 👑🔥
BTS's music videos and dance practices are 100/10 but their live performances are infinity/10. Their stage presence, live vocals and energy is insaneee & unmatchable They are the biggest group for a reason I mean 🔥
Fun fact: The inspiration for the song was based on former President Obama WH correspondence dinner speech in '16 when he drops his mic at the end.
Exactly 👍🏾
Yes, Namjoon (RM), the main rapper, main song writer and group's leader, got inspired by that and wrote it.
They were a tally an established group here. They used their name tags so people could identify them and learn their names. This was before they became global I believe. But, yes they trained for 3 years before debuting in 2013. They went through a lot of trainees before forming BTS, only these seven made it.
Idk if this is helpful, but i feel like when they ask "who's the one in the middle?" Or something like that, maybe instead of saying their real names, the girl (srry idk her name) could start them off with their stage names. Because their stage names are much easier to pronounce for new ARMY, and it might confuse them much less. No offense, especially bc the way she says some of their names is the wrong pronounciation and its kinda triggering me lmao (i know it takes a while to get used to, so i dont blame you ofc!)
Great reaction
YES! Pls use their stage names bc that’s what they’re using in their music PLUS easier for muggles to remember.
@BVnaGV yupp cuz for me at least, it was way easier to remember their stage names, and I only started trying to remember their real names after getting to know their personalities/funny moments
Jimin's level of dancing is unique, he dances so perfectly, the best 👏🏻
Please react to set me free pt 2 by Jimin from bts you will love it.
Set me free is an autotune mess, it’d be better if the boys get recommendations to songs they’ll actually like since they’re gonna be the ones reacting to them.
@@autumngirl1 Set me free is a great song, the video is the best and the autotune it has is obviously because that's how the video was edited was the idea... I know you'll like it
@@pilimartin27 the video IS great and so is the choreography but the vocals are wayy too screachy with the over abundance of autotune and the lyrics are mid. I don’t think anyone that’s checking out bts for the first time will enjoy it.
Most of the ppl that are kind about the overuse of the autotune are doing it because they love and support Jimin. Unbiased casual listeners won’t have the same experience
@@autumngirl1Autotune is also used by other singers, and Jimin can also use it if necessary. I only used it in some parts and there is no problem. Set Me Free Pt.2 is my current favorite song.
@@user-d2xfy4jz9o no one’s saying jimins the only one that’s ever used autotune. Just that in this particular song it’s overkill and makes it hard to listen to for the majority of the ppl that have listened to it who don’t really have a bias towards the group or jimin himself
Also I doubt it was “necessary” it just seems like a stylistic choice that ended up backfiring
I would try to recommend songs that the boys would tend to like rather than the mid songs they put out for western audiences.
Bts has a way better catalogue than that
0:51- The labels (yes it's their names) help the camera men know where they're at during formations
11:19- It went from like 16 hours a day training everyday to a couple of weeks to a couple of days for learning choreo
I suggest MAMA 2017 performance of BTS. They perform mic drop and a few others songs there.. it’s one of the major awards in Korea.
Hi, if you read this i'm just kindlyly saying that now namjoon is going with RM, not rap monster anymore, is some meaning of he meeting himself, like real me. So you can just say rm or namjoon (sry if is something wrong, this is not my first language)
You know he didn't just watch Friends... he was listening to all the rappers in America. He didn't get that cadence from friends.

My fav BTS song is Paradise. Fav video Save Me fav live performance Best of Me💜
Yes! Paradise is so underrated, it's one of their best!
I love how y’all say it’s like a last battle type of track cuz at this point in their career BTS was breaking records and was going global steadily. This song is basically BTS’s last time addressing their haters hence the feeling of the last battle etc. I loved how you guys mentioned that cuz it relates a lot to what BTS was feeling about their haters during that time. Like this is it, I won’t address you hater anymore.
She's kinda saying their names wrong and it's stressing me out a little bit. Lol 😅
Find a video of "the BTS fan chant", memorize it... then you won't be surprised when you go to a concert, and everyone's screaming their names in unison. ✌🏾
She's very much baby army, but I'm pretty sure the guys just figured that was good enough to ask for information about them😅
Jimin is the best dancer in the whole Kpop industry, Trainees and idols studying his videos to learn dancing, delivering and a good stage present. 👑🔥 He is the most versatile and combines multiple dance styles like nobody else.

One of the reasons I like this songs so well is because of the choreo. But when I followed the subtitles and found out what the song is about (it's a dis song) I liked it all the more. It's one of my favorites! Words have meaning and add so much to a song.
I love that you did the Dance practice as well those are always so cool to see people react to. They all kill this dance so much i would love to see you react to a live performance and i suggest the 2017 MAMA mic drop performance(if someone has another option on which one let me know and i’ll add it). Btw the signs they are wearing is their names. Ohh I forgot to add Bts has two main dancers which are Jimin and J-Hope.
This dance practice is for a Korean award show/live performance. The name tags are for blocking/placement for the stage production, hence the support dancers.
haven't watched these in a really long time. such a trip to memory lane
BTS BIGGEST BAND in the world ❤️
The name tags you'll sometimes see in kpop dance practice videos are meant for music show / performance camera crew to be familiarized with their parts / know who the camera should be focused on relative to whose line it is. You see it more in older kpop dance practice videos since those were legit the videos they would send to the TV channels, nowadays dance practice videos are specifically made for fans, so the idols are more dressed up.
You can tell what kinda ARMY she is because she’s still calling Namjoon “Rap monster” I was like who?
ur point?
Some armys don't even know how RM doesn't like to be called as his previous name such as RAP MONSTER. my point is most are comfortable with Namjoon or RM. @@BangtanvminKook-kg1sf
@@BangtanvminKook-kg1sf shes either a old army who stopped listening to them after love yourself her era or shes a new fan who is still somewhat casual knows a little but not enough most armys know. cause he dont like being called rap monster, and shes mispronouncing their names well mostly yoongi. young gi? no yoongi or yoon-ki.
anyways hopefully she learns and researches better to better inform them or hopefully they read the comments bc itd be nice if they treated them like real artists instead of this fun cute boyband that makes unimportant music thats the vibe i get from their reactions like the dont see the value in their art and have misconceptions about kpop based off misinformation and harmful stereotypes spread by english media.
They post K-Pop content & out come the know-it-alls. The judge & gate keepers of the fandom. Instead of, "I'm glad they're reacting to my faves," and appreciating; folks wanna nitpick details that only matter to them, & press the reactors. I don't want to hear about, "Well, I was just trying to help her understand..." Caretrolling is a thing.
If you did just want to advise that the name is said a certain way there are a million ways to do it that aren't as rude & obnoxious and personal as " You can tell what kind of ARMY she is..." Maybe she isn't one & I know I wouldn't want to be aligned with folks judging my every breath. Keep it up, maybe they'll see this kind of post as a sign to drop BTS all together. 🤷♀
@@thedivareview it’s not that deep jit. All I said is you can tell she’s an old army.

They give 100%..at all times
Funny you should mention Fast and Furious because Jimin was on the soundtrack for the latest movie with the songs Angel Part 1 and Part 2.
The billion+ views is just from watching. It is not on any movie or anything.
Also, crazy as it nay seem, live performances by BTS are even better than studio. They do all the choreo and sing live. No lip syncing. My favourite live performances of Mic Drop are the Yet to Come concert at Busan (opening song) and MAMA 2017.
This dance video was made an award show called Mama 2017. They have their name tags on them, so the camera directors who will shoot the life performance will know who to focus the camera on advance. The dancers behind them are backup, they have usually have many of them during these big awards performances. For these kind practices with their name tags they go less hard then they official dance practice video's to prevent injuries. You'll see them dance with this kind of energy before their concerts as well. They go hard when it's real performance.
... SO. I met you guys through movies/dramas; and I just love you ALL. And also I am a very big ARMY. I didn't not put you diving deeper into BTS on my bingo card for this year so, i'm a bit scared and excited at the same time 💜. BUT I AM SO HERE FOR IT.
Jimin and Hobi are both main dancers. JK is part of the rap line, and Tae also is officially on the dance line as well! Jimin was SICK AF during this dance practice too!!
They learn the choreo pretty easily now, but when they are in a push for a performance tbey practice up to 10 hrs per day, so its a hard fought learning curve.
They are absolutely amazing live, it is another level.
JIMIN and jhope are main dancers.
If you're really a BTS fan, being asked what is your fave bts song is very very stressful tbh! only armies would understand.
Yeah it’s like a 25-way tie for me
Jimin the best dancer 💖😊
So this was a dance practice video for an award show that they send to the broadcasting company to be approved. That's why they wear the name signs. The other guys were dancers for the performance. Not trainees lol. It's been awhile since they were trainees. Since 2013 when they debuted.
I think they were asking if the backup dancers were trainees, which could be possible, but they also have specifically backup dancers.

The song's nostalgic lyrics and anthemic chorus resonate with listeners of all ages, capturing the essence of BTS's message of hope and resilience.
"Magic Shop(Live Performance)" no MV -song for the fans, special song for BTS and Army
-This live performance of "Magic Shop" showcases BTS's incredible stage presence and emotional connection with their fans. The song's heartfelt lyrics and uplifting melody create a magical experience for both the performers and the audience.
"MIC Drop" (check out the live performance from a concert) - A high-energy anthem with powerful rap verses and an addictive beat, "MIC Drop" demonstrates BTS's confident swagger and charismatic stage presence. It's a bold statement of their success and resilience.
These songs offer a glimpse into BTS's musical diversity and artistry, making them perfect for newcomers to explore their discography.

The straightness of Brandon’s face for most of the reaction video needs a side by side with Carianna’s tutting moves and all her vibes 😂
They wear their name on them so that the choreographer can call on them during the practice. They stop wearing their names afterwards because everyone know who they are by that time.
J-Hope isn't the group choreographer. Although they do work with western choreographers but there is one korean choreographer that has been working with them for a very long time. I don't know his name but I saw him in a few of their behind the scenes practices.
Nope, they only wear these name tags for reahersals for award shows so that the people there easly can identify them to avoid mistakes and for camerawork and stuff.
And Son Sung Deuk is his name, but he's not the only choreographer they work/have worked with
that's crazy how I never noticed that part of the video in Mic Drop they were dancing in prison and I've not only been watching this video and reactions to this video for years but also watched a ton of Kdramas that take place in prison, so I've seen exact sets that look like the one they're dancing in...it just registered to me when he mentioned it was a prison....
