I am American but was stationed in Britain for 3 years while in the Air Force. I love listening to you because I really miss Britain. I found myself calling scotch tape Cello tape today at work. The person I was talking to looked at me like I was from outer space. Then I realized what I had said. Lol

We have Scotch tape as well as Sellotape here in the UK. Sellotape is just the bigger brand. Glad you liked living in the UK.

I have used my laminator nearly weekly for the last 20 years (I just had to replace it a year ago!). I love it. I NEVER KNEW there was MATTE laminator sheets! 😱
I only found out the last couple of years Kristina, they seem to be a well kept secret. they look so much better though☺️🤗💜

More laminator tips!
Darn you anyway Julie! Like I need another project, or another way to make things with stamps and laminator sheets. Well, at least I have a laminator 😂 Brilliant fun, thank you for enabling us all. PS: Sue-kin-e-ko. Just in case you ever need to say it for reals 😁PSS; laminate sheets come in different thicknesses. Pockets tend to work better/be sturdier in the thicker laminate sheets. (3 ml, 5 ml and 10 ml. The 10 are super sturdy, but the I've found the 5 ml work fine for pockets)

I just had to google whal a ml was, i had no idea the thickness was measured differently in the US, but it makes sense now i know what it is. That will be so useful when i use them again to explain the thickness😊🤗💜
"Fuzzy and grabby" are much more fun than "loops and hooks"!

I just laminated a full A4 sheet of rice paper for no reason other than i got myhands on some A4 matt sheets😅😊💜

That's what I get for being selfish though because I was more worried about him using up all of my laminator sheets or maybe it was actually the things I could imagine him laminating... 🤔🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😂

The white ink has chalk in it I believe. Dried flowers would look fab in the laminator sheets.

I have recently been gifted a laminator and packets of plastic cover things. Apart from using them to cover my most used knitting patterns I didn't know what to do with them. I do now.! I love your super nifty ideas even if they are your take on someones idea. It's the way crafting stuff goes right.? I'm going to use what you have shown us with my own tweaks. I make cardstock handbags so the laminated sheets will work great with the front of my bags,#.
I also incorporate paper flowers inside the sheets so this will be wonderful for me, thank you xx Jean from Scotland.

What fabulous ideas! I just love these! 🤗 Great…now I have to buy a laminator. And of course, I absolutely positively H A V E to have one. I will never be able to properly craft again until I have one. Julie, have you ever done a video on how to use up or transform solid colored card stock? I have so much of it but rarely use it except for framing a picture. I can’t think of anything clever to do with it.
Hi Elless, no I haven't specifically, but I have done a few on using file folders that you could use card for instead.
I have tons of plain sheets myself so the thinking cap may need to go on🤔🤗💜

I loooove your channel. Maybe too much. I watch when I craft, when I go to sleep, and even on my way to and from work. But I may be over doing it because tonight at work, some components I was working on weren’t lining up and instead of the voice in my head doing it’s usual grumbling, a perfect imitation of you came out saying “Ahh! It’s all wonkay” 😂😂😂 I can’t tell you how happy I am that the voice in my head has gone British! 😂
