Today i'm making the easiest glue bottle dangles ever.
This is a new & very easy and lazy way to make sure you don't lose your glue pin or spend an hour with it stuck in your sleeve😐

For anyone struggling to find Stainless Steel pins, try Stainless steel insect pins, they work amazing and don't rust as they are used for pinning insect/butterflies

*Knitting needle stoppers* As appealing as these pretty dangles are, I’m done wasting time trying to (1) find actual stainless steel pins and (2) find the hole to re-pin my bottles (you can’t imagine how much faster it is to cap your glue!). I used to make dangles with earring backs just like you show. Then I saw a fellow JJ’er who uses knitting needle stoppers and I have never looked back. In case you want to see them in action, hop over to Kylie’s Card Craft. Amazon and elsewhere all have a lot of choices. As far as everything else you offer here on your stellar channel, I’m a huge fan! You are always one I watch regularly!

Julie this is just what I needed. I have lost the pin from my glue bottle so many times and I keep saying I need to make a dangle for it and now I am going to sit down and actually get my beads out and make one! Thank you for the nudge I needed to get this done so I will stop loosing my pin on my desk and having to look for it all the time.
I know just what you mean Lisa and i think losing my pin while filmimg and people pointing out it was stuck in my sleeve was the last straw😅 i needed some chunkier more colourful dangles and my laziness led to these. It really was too much like hard work to reach slightly and grab my pliers and findings. So happy you enjoyed it enough to make one love. Thanks again Lisa😊🤗💜

How awesome is this. I ordered stainless pins from Amazon and they were not. I bought stainless pins from a fabric shop and they were not. So I use Art glitter stainless pins when available and I use the Woodware Stainless pins and they both are for sure stainless steel. I am wondering if you do this version of glue bottle dangles with fishing line ( which some make beaded bracelets with ) and could you use the elastic sting for beaded bracelets? I am new to the junk journal making world. So this may be a dumb question, so bare with me. Why do we need stainless steel pins for our glue bottles? I understand why a pin is stuck in a glue bottle. I've been doing this for years in the craft world but I've never had a problem with them in my glue. I quilt, some, so maybe my pins are stainless steel already.

It's so that they don't rust, so you'rs sound like they are stainless steel. They may even have been made in my home town of Sheffield. But no one makes them here anymore and they mostly come from China and the quality is poor.
My daughter loves visiting the Steel Industry museum that we have here😁🤗💜

Stainless steel pins should not be so hard to find, it's a shame. Stainless steel was invented in Sheffield where i live and i can't even get any here. I have to get them online☺️🤗💜

This is perfect timing Julie. I keep loosing my needle as well, it drives me bananas. And I just bought quite a few beads this weekend at Hobby Lobby. I was trying to figure out how to get the beads onto my string and I like this way better. Will try this technique. I love these. Also, thanks for letting us know which ones are stainless steel.
