Watching Usagi is hypnotic - he's so smooth to watch as he slices and dices through hordes of enemies with an air of elegance, like a dignified Japanese warrior. Love how he's pretty much an aerial juggler and all-around combo machine. I REALLY need the DLC lol
Hell yeah, been eagerly awaiting this! I've been able to do some story mode practice as Karai so far and a little bit of survival mode, excited to learn the new characters and excited to see more high level play for this game!
Since Usagi is actually based on Miyamoto Musashi, he technically should be using a nito, 2 sword style, but here in the game, looks like he's only using 1. That being said, ninja (as opposed to samurai) weren't really known to be dual blade users (maybe tanto daggers at most? but certainly not katana), making Leonardo something of an anomaly.
- it took watching this to realize just how much variety they've packed into the Foot Soldiers for this one--they are perfect in the beat 'em up realm and this is where they belong, but as an enemy class, they've gained so many variants, they wouldn't look that out of place in an XCOM-style, a JRPG, or a Diablo-clone-APRG - considering how long the run had already been by the time you got to The Lost Archnemesis, I really appreciate you finding the stamina to still hit the 291 there. Good fuckin' shit
They should have a raid. Getting a good group for Gnarly feels like that. But if they had like all levels straight through with taugnts but you can build up to radical 3 on okay or something.. Thatd be tough then without radical gnarly raid for unique costumes or weapons . A lot of potential with this game

Usagi is actually the main character of comic book series „Usagi Yojimbo" created by Stan Sakai, who is a very good friend of TMNT creators, which resulted in Usagi's guest apperances in almost every TMNT cartoon (1987, 2003 and 2012)
🔥 so awesome to see my sensei beat up some baddies. Something I ought to fill you in on too for Usagi. His dash attack, if you're fast enough you can chain it into itself and cancel it into a roll or even a quick regular ground chain. You have to be fast however. I'm sure you're also more or less familiar with how they treated his summersault attack. if starting on the ground and anti air, do a regular string, you can anti air mid air again, and do another chain before landing. I really am not a fan of the bounce on his dash attack.
Usagi is awesome i had the action figure, that was good too, the character was poseable but if you look at the natural pose of the figure you can see he was in a great fighting stance it was wearing chainmail and had bad ass forearms it was actually my favourite figure i ever owned i mostly just looked at it in awe
But Usagi Yojimbo is the best of samurai rabbit can never seen before and yes existing a Usagi yojimbo because i like it and better with ninja turtles 🐢🐇
Not particularly. I'm not sure if it does much damage, I figure it's just faster to wipe the soldiers out ASAP so the statue returns to her normal attacks. Not sure though.

People shouldn't be allowed to play gnarly if all original characters aren't on level 10 or if they haven't beaten the game without dying . This game is so awesome I wish more people played more often

I don't know how you resisted just using his endless air combos the entire playthrough. He is just THE most satisfying to play while airborne.
