Haha thank you! Really almost every mission was a 2+ hour struggle to do this though, there’s a lot that can go wrong in the 4-6 minutes of every stage but it was still very fun

Level 1 is the only one I can beat with ease unharmed on Gnarly, I can beat Level 3 boss unharmed but always end up screwing up somewhere in the beginning, Level 8 boss always ends up shooting me at some point and I can't even beat Super Shredder by myself on Arcade mode yet, this just made me wanna practice everyday. One of the illest speedruns I ever saw 💯

Credit to the devs for making it possible to link these together. I need to revisit this to see how the latest patch rebalanced a bunch of these encounters, sounds like they did a good job improving enemy tells compared to some of these lol

Lol thanks but this is all on Gnarly at launch, they patched the game after 6 months so bosses are different usually with easier enemy attack tells now and nerfed taunt abuse (which are all great changes). Sorry wayyy late on this (was afraid to try it myself lol). They actually give you the option to retain power levels or reset them too. Everything else gets reset including collectibles and challenges it appears if you do start over which is kind of cool to have an all challenge run attempt again!
Lol I’m glad they are a bit easier than spikes in Sewer Surfin’. My parents thought I hurt my foot dozens of times from “My toe, my toe!” sound clip on that level
Lol chapter 13 is pretty brutal, I should have put together a fail video from the 4+ hours on that level alone. Everyone has a decent kill combo on the rock soldiers using wall bounce/charge attacks which helps. Chrome dome is rough without throw s, but top center of the screen he can’t punch you so you can taunt freely before throwing a foot soldier. Every character can left/right Traag like here, best bet is to save a super for when the rock guys come out though. Good luck!
Who do you recommend is the best as far as easiest to master, I have read April is pretty good. Or should I stick with Ralph since his taunt is the quickest?

Yeah all played on Gnarly mode in Story outside of the first level since there is no Arcade mode level select. In story mode you can have up to 3 bars when characters are fully leveled to 10, but difficulty remains the same which you can tell by the large boss health pool compared to “Okay” mode. This was all done before any patches since I’m sure they will make better enemy attack tells in the future making this easier. Hopefully they add Arcade mode level select in the future and I would consider updating this video where it’s all 1 bar.
Thank you! Woah that’s awesome with Splinter, level 11 was one of the first I did to see if it’s even possible because Zorax felt the hardest to no damage at the time. You’ll probably crush 12/14/16 with Splinter since a lot 1-10 are harder. Good luck, you’ll def get it!

Yeah Leatherhead tail whip is the worst attack in the game with the lack of tell. Rocksteady in both fights is tough since neither are straight up and that kick with Contra spread shot are scary. You might have a tougher time with Zorax on Splinter than most since he gets he’s a bit longer and the reach is a negative in that fight but there’s still a sweet spot. 13 is tough too but not impossible when broken down. GL!
@@FBIMichaelScarn I already beat zorax earlier today. Zorax was luck based because if he unleashed the stampede and l didn't have meter l was screwed. But Splinter's projectile super's damage came in handy on that last 50% health.

This was last year about 1 month after launch and 5 months before they rebalanced the game a bit. Most levels are actually easier currently with better enemy tells but the Shredder fight is much harder. They nerfed story mode taunt gain in the end of year patch which is why it can’t be done anymore. I will be recording a new level 16 with the dlc characters this week though
As well balanced as the game was for the most part, throws were awful for the first 6 months when this was recorded since they had no invulnerability frames. Devs have since patched them so they can be useful now! Was kind of funny that even the old arcade games designed to steal your quarters were more fair in that throws had i-frames to avoid damage lol.

The game definitely gets more fun as you go especially if playing on story mode as you unlock more moves. Worth it for the music alone and coop makes it even better
I think missions 13 and 9 actually took me the longest. I did 9 with Casey but couldn’t get a full chain since it’s very difficult to juggle the one plunger foot before the carnival game to keep the combo going so went back and did it with April here. Then Leatherhead’s tail whip waiting after finally getting that chained was brutal. Technodrome is just super long with toughest enemy mix imo.

Is this gnarly mode? How did you have 3 power bars? I thought gnarly mode only have 1 power bar?

Amazing! I'm currently trying this challenge with Splinter only (grinding level 11 atm) and l could have used some of the boss Intel you have.
