I was finally introduced to Mods by another Fan of Skyrim. It opened a New World for me. I've been playing SKYRIM since it's very first release. It is my favorite. Ever since I heard the word Mod or Mods, I have been trying to find out what that word means .. I t was only 7 months ago I finally had an answer. Still unsure of myself technically, I downloaded cautiously. I am not a Technical person. But, that said, I feel the Creators of Mods are Incredible, Wonderful people... Regarding this Mod, Cathedral Supreme Weather's ... Breathtaking scenery. Day or Night. And the realism of it leaves me in Awe. Thank you young man, thank you for having such a Creative mind and best of all, sharing... I'm approaching 70 yrs of Age. I hope I have many years left to Appreciate all of these Mod Creator's. I certainly can't thank them enough.
Very nice video Turbo. I have used Cathedral Weathers for a couple months and am very happy with it. I use it with Rustic Weathers presets for a little extra variety. Filmic has actually dissipated any abnormal paragon shapes in the sky seen in a lot of weather mods.
The Sky look better and night time looks better plus is makes indoor and caves/dungeons darker so for that reason it is a superb weather mod and it has no FPS loss.
Six mounth after this showcase, finally have a reason to use Cathedral Weathers. Wow! Love the look of the galaxys in the night sky. Don't need Display Enhancements, Rustis Weather Presets, Smooth Skys, True Storms, & patches. Tried Rustic/True Storms. But, didn't like the washed out dark shadows on my characters. I found Skeletor2017's Shadows Fix mod, it's not compatible with Rustic Weathers. Now you know the rest of the story. Excellent lighting, effects, & performance that Skyrim was developed for.
Best ever weather mod I use mountain fogs mintys lightning and display enhancemts with it,I've got the balance spot on For graphics after this in LO I have Divine SMIM,Skyland AiO, Nordic Snow,Realistic Water 2,in that order.,it looks fantastic
My feelings exactly on this mod, it's fine there's nothing really wrong with it but sometimes it's just too inconsistent compared to others. It really is a 0 performance loss mod though, so very useful for anyone who might have trouble running others. I've run it on both PC and Xbox.
Does it have any drain on the system? Apparently it doesnt but how well does it work with lightning and especially fog? Does fog put strain on the system?
I agree with your assessment, "beautiful moments" in my experience with this weather mod didn't translate to the same level of "consistent awesomeness" that I get from Mythical Ages. The fact that Cathedral Weathers is roughly 50x the size of Mythical kills any consideration I'd have towards giving it a more permanent place in my LO. Good video.
Guys, try this enb for this mod(made for Cathedral Weathers and Seasons) www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25163 , you also get the options : performance,semi-quality and full quality. It's really beautiful together and i got no performance loss with the performance enb.
I mostly like this mod even though its days kind of always looks like dusk, but it throws the time scaling waaaaaaay off. Sometimes it’s pitch black at 7pm, sometimes it’s not. And Christ, it takes me 2 hours to fast travel anywhere; even from Markarth to Riften...
I actually see your main complaint as a positive. I think those of us for whom this is the weather mod of choice choose it because of the inconsistency. Having days and times that are bland and washed out adds realism. Blue skies, sunsets and fluffy clouds are gorgeous, yes but I get bored when that's all I ever see. I don't want every moment to be picturesque, I want variety.
Turbo do you still play Skyrim or do you just make videos/load orders for us? If you do play, what type of character are you running and how far are ya in the story :) just interested
This is the 1st mod I downloaded on xbox.... I wanna find a optimal mode as I look for realism and variety, i want to find a mod that even has thundersnow. Lightning in blizzards..........
So it works with Minty's... does it work well or conflict? Does it have auroras, god rays, sunrises, sunsets and fantasy awesome coloring like Mythical Ages? Plus if it has it's own ENB type settings built in, then why do you need to use Display enhancements as well?
Would you still choose obsidian over this? And I'm curious your opinion between this mod and vivid weather's? They both have a big file size for a weather mod.
Use Divine lighting, shadows and light(glimmer mode),you will see a difference,it also creates greater flumes from the candles with this mod, also if u want a bit more use display enhancements also, increase saturation to your liking
Divine interiors also alters the outside btw. Its still compatible with all weather mods, but yeah if you use glimmer it will also be "glimmerly" on the outside😅
I'm playing on Xbox one. With your current LO, how is the framerate? Specifically in let's say Rifften and the wilderness around it? I was considering running Divine city's and your grass mods but if the framerate is choppy nah
Im using his june LO(i tweaked my way) but still had to delete lush overhaul, dense grass, and even had to get a few fps mods. And its still choppy in riften
@@ultimategohan1551 Lush Overhaul and Dense Grasses are performance hogs. Any mod that claims to improve FPS is bullshit, the Xbox is clocked at 30 fps period. Optimized texture mod like Skyland AIO. can help improve performance over vanilla.
Hey Gone turbo can you help with something, I don't know why this is happening but when I try to download the old kingdom overhauls it doesn't download by this I mean that when the download reaches 100% it's just says download again and it doesn't show up on my load order eather this has happened with other mods like Noble skyrim main city's and small town, I hope you can reply and help me thank you.
I've tried CW on both the xbox and the PC. On both platforms, I've never have been able to get this mod to look consistent. The best I have been able to get this mod to look is when my PC monitor is set to nightlight mode. I like Obsidian weathers but not this one.
I've tried this MOD on both console and PC. I've manged to get it slightly better on the PC using a ReShade preset but it's not very consistent. It looks halfway decent most of the time when my monitor is in nightlight mode. Maybe it would look better with and ENB but that causes way too much fps loss. On the console I prefer Mythical Ages. For the PC I like Obsidian or Aequinoctium.
Not compatible with other weather mods. Cathedral Weathers includes custom precipitation and thunder audio, as well as extreme, wilderness-only, blizzards. If you want to patch a mod like true storms, you may wish to create a standalone esp that depends on the sound files found in true storms. Activating both the TS and CWS esp's will result in too many volume sliders for rain and thunder audio.
@@I3arbarian thank you for the info, however this in regards to Xbox modding. I might give it a try, currently running mythical weather's with true storms
