@@kavenoff777 Hi Pal, NAT 3.0 is a Weather Mod u would use to replace Cathedral. NAT = Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel, has many built in features added in as well.
The start of 2022 is already exciting. ENBs for Picturesque and Obsidian are being revived. And new ENBs are coming out for the less popular weather mods like RAID and NLA. Even azurite and rustic weathers got revamped awhile ago. Also, props to Pi CHO for breathing new life into Silent Horizons as his ENB is built off SH and its shaders.
@@stardaggerrihannsu2363 Yeah, pi-cho is vastly cinematic with double the effects that SH has. Loading it took a slight fps fit for me, with barely noticeable visual improvement except for a ton of lighting add-ons. Maybe it's just me, I'm not the kind who picks up the finer details..unless it's in your face different
Thanks so much for this! I'd already decided that on Cathedral weathers, and this was my next decision. They all look good for different reasons. I was partial to Cathedralist, but like PI-CHO too. Then saw the characters and that made it easy to see I would prefer PI-CHO. I especially like that it has a more realistic depth of field. I really don't like it when an ENB makes things really blurry. Rudy is great too, I just don't like things so unsaturated.
That PI-CHO is arguably the best and in my opinion, Culminated is second but wow at Pi-Cho, I used NAT III with this, and OMG I am done with visual overhauls LOL. Thank you for this @Odysseus Gaming, this came at the moment I wanted a real comparison to fit my preferences in gaming looks.
The wettness shader in Rudy is the one thing that makes me consider trying others. I tweak it myself its just a bit of a hassle. Pi-Cho really sharpens up the image and the lighting is a lot more stark/striking due to it. Its definitely got a unique look.
Great showcase! Honestly I think Pi-cho is all around the best ENB for cathedral weathers if you prefer saturated color palettes, and Rudy is the best for more neutral colors. That being said, I would really like to see an ENB+Weather comparisons. NAT III vs. Cathedral vs. Dolomite, etc. with combinations of different enbs such as Lumos, TVK6, Rudy etc. The differences in visuals will be a lot more substantial comparing different weather mods with enbs!
Nice showcase video as always. I know these take work make, so I appreciate it. Thanks for your amazing support of my ENBs. There are great ENBs showcased in this video. Humbled to be in the line up as some of these greats.
Thanks Firemanaf- loved Culminated and Semirealis has always been one of my favorites. I think your work is great, and I think it's also inspired a lot of others to make some great presets - so thankyou for everything you've done for Skyrim modding, I really appreciate it and I think a great many others do too
Just wanted to say Thank You firemanaf for your enb profiles and while I always try others I always come back to your NVT presets and generally for Obsidian weathers. Lately I have been tweaking your NVT for NAT (With changes of course but not as many as one mights think) but using NLA instead of NAT and a mix of Shaders from others and it’s been fantastic! Thank You again brother for all that you do!
It seems to be the case that no ENB is perfect. For instance, NAT 3 ENB looks awesome 80% of times, but the nights mostly look awful. And sadly not every enb can be tweaked. Each good enb comes with their strengths and weaknesses sadly, i am still searching for the perfect one
Wow, This is a really good video and thank you so much! I've been running Rudy for a very long time now and wanted something different...perhaps brighter or more clean? This REALLY narrowed it down for me and I cannot wait to try out PI-CHO now! Also props to the way you did the editing, I thought this was exceptionally well done.
There is really no comparison now . PI-CHO is taking the cake and even if you dont a certain setting , it offers 10 times more customization and options than any other ENB to tweak it . By default , it is already packing the best setup from Character and Environment to very high standard . Rudy has amazing environment but character models are looking a little lackluster .
Some ENB seem to be too dark. I use Rudy and often i feel, that its not really a sunny day. Also i had to adjust sunrise and -down lightning (times), because i didnt want to play 60% of my time in "pure darkness".
Hands Down, the BEST ENB COMPARISON I have ever seen! ELEVEN out of ten...Simply because you showed off the most important detail to my mind when running an ENB or Lighting Mod. Do the living things look like they should, or are they animated wax and wood figures in a hyper realistic world? Which for me, is the worst possible combo for immersion. 🤦♂
No problem. Thought about putting re-engaged in, but already featured 2 other firemanaf enb's. Also, firemanaf thinks that re-engaged is better with Obsidian- will definitely feature it when I do an Obsidian weathers ENB comparison. PI-CHO is definitely worth trying.
Semirealis, Culminated and Pi-CHO all have performance settings which will help you with FPS. Cathedralist is pretty light on FPS and Rudy is somewhere in the middle
Hey maybe someone here can help me. I've installed Pi-Cho and now my field of view is more narrow. Like black bars are now at the top and the bottom of the screen. My compass and health etc bars are in the black areas so it's not that the game thinks my desktop has a different format. How can I make my field of view fill my whole screen again?
Doing my research as I’m saving for a gaming laptop (I don’t have space for a rig at my place or I’ll save for that instead) and I’m not looking forward to the mod wander lust I’m going to be suffering from for the next month afterwards.

How is BF 2042 even comparable to Skyrim? They're entirely 2 different genres and play styles. BF 2042 lacks the open source modding community that Skyrim has. So BF 2042 will always be BF 2042 even 10 yrs down the road unless you buy a newer title. Skyrim can be infinitely renewed and even molded into a different game (to some extent) with custom user content add-ons, characters, quests and storylines since the platform allows developers to create practically anything they want with its resources.
Something about Rudy always brings me back to it after trying others.
It's definitely one of the best available at the moment
Same, try as much as I have, nothing beats it for just pure beauty and gameplay
Latest update of rudy enb seems too bleak for me
Honestly, the only time I find Rudy to look better than others is in storms.
It's the best but losing 20 FPS on a fully optimized game with a 6600 XT is a no-go for me
Can't decide between PI-CHO and Semirealis...
They're all great, but those two have stood out as the best of the best.
Go with Pi-Cho, I was in this same position as well and it blew my mind when I added Pi-Cho with Nat 3.
I haven't tried it with NAT 3 - need to give it a go. Thanks for the recommendation

Rudy and PI CHO definitely seem to both take advantage of one thing ENB can do...toning down the overblown whites. That's always drove me crazy lol.

This is the best weathers comparison you can find cause it is complete, but without ENBS, th-cam.com/video/BznwjUivveo/w-d-xo.html

Really nice showcase...this is a very subjective topic, but for a more "realistic" preset...PI-CHO and good old Rudy ftw

Culminated ENB be like, "get yo ass in that water!" @ 6:56
Culminated really is the ultimate vanilla plus
Rain weather completely ruined Culminated. It would have been a clear winner if not for the rain imo.
Rudy and Semirealis are pretty close imo.
This is where I am at as well. I think I'm going to try Semirealis since I have been using Rudy for so long.
06:00 would be nice if Rudy had raind drop splashes on the ground too.... or maybe it does, but not really visible?
You excluded my soul spectrum and I'd argue it's top 2 just under Rudy.
Hey, sorry for the late reply - I'll check it out and put it in a future comparison vid

Pi-Cho has the best wet effect.

What lighting mods do you use? I my self use Relighting skyrim and Enhanced Lighting for ENB
This video was with ELFX, but have recently switched to the new ELFX Shadows - my most recent video showcases it - definitely worth checking out
I would use Rudy if I had a better GPU than an RTX 3070. Even the balanced NAT ENB III with reshade freezes my game after a while.
I feel like it's only PI-CHO that gets fires right.
It's always foggy and raining with the Rudy enb for me...

Either adjust saturation in enb settings or use reshade like kira0218's

Rudy does best for character
Culminated for rainy weather
Semi real for the color tones.
