Alas the video is done and it felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulder
this EP was mired with delays and cancelled videos, yes the last two was suppose to have videos, for a three track EP it felt like an entire album haha

this Abyss trilogy (assuming this is with Cruelty of Hope and Guiding Lights) some of the best pieces of music I've heard. I am looking forward to this so much
Such a beautiful song.
And idk where but i got a theory.
Oliver in the (Cruelty of hopes)/ the doll is an actual doll that created by all-mother/mother in the song.
all-mother is one of goddess of light creation who able to also create something and give it life. Unlike the doll mother knows everything about the world before abyss time and when the abyss time is happening she was able to get out of the abyss (before turned into abyss).
when the doll see a glimpse of light, it isn't the goddess of light it sees. instead it sees a glimpse of unknown light (possibly another Goddess of light creation who got lost in the abyss) when the doll see it's light, a glimpse of hope is seen and so that what happened in the first song, also the lantern that was given to doll was actually a piece of the goddess of light power that the all-mother have.
The abyssal hums is actually the melody that sung by the old hero as she wanted to tell the goddess of light her unawareness is getting worse as what she scared is actually happening.
In the second song (guiding light) the goddess of light ( ijust gonna call her light) is in a kind of lost and pain as her creation is suffered by the consequences in the song.
As she feel her sorrow, a piece of her power is glimpse. Unlike the other power that is given this one is unclear/ tiny. she feels that the one that holds that power will never going to reach it dreams, to her surprise the doll is not giving up despite the creatures the abyss inhabits.
and when that happens she finally snaps and so she gives the doll guide, as in the title name.
In this song the doll is finally in the one of the abyss world. As the old hero finally realized that there's a guest in the world, she give the doll a melody to warn him of the abyss. But the doll insist and start to make everything changed one by one until, the doll met with the old hero. The doll doesn't know at first but when they sail the dark ocean, Leviathan attack their ships and as battle broke out between them. The hero reveals her self, unfortunately her power is not enough to kill leviathan. But the doll who guided by light was able to use his lantern as hiss weapon to stop the violence of the leviathan and the old hero.
The doll give back what is lost.
Light.
One of the abyss is now back to it's origial state.

I Already heard this song on Spotify and this song was epic
I came here attracted by the memory of Steampianist being a popular artist used in Geometry Dash, game I used to play over 6 years ago. When I clicked on the video, there were 30 seconds remaining for it to release, and I had the feeling it would blow my mind like some of the songs I remember did. I wasn't wrong.
I really loved this story, specially because I've been playing and reading lots of fantasy games and books lately. I love Dark Souls, and reading "Hero of the Abyss" already got me in. I'm really happy that this randomly appeared in my main youtube page after all this years, I'll make sure I revisit some of those old songs and listen to the new ones that I haven't.
