I was in high school when this album came out, the last best VH in my opinion. Nothing against Sammy Hagar & those years, he's an awesome rocker in his own right...but it wasn't VH for me anymore. Eddie's solos became convoluted & chaotic, rather than melodic and with a story to tell & move you like all of the ones beforehand. It all goes to the sound a person likes. I never cared for the Eddie Van Halen sound. I much prefer Mark Knopfler, Jerry Garcia and David Gilmour.
Its cool to see how much she appreciates this music... its timeless
When they reunited with Dave for 'A Different Kind of Truth', I was ecstatic -- and was rewarded for it.
You guys are a lot of fun.One of the best reaction channels.
Hot For Teacher is such a fun song, but Drop Dead Legs is by far my favorite groove from Van Halen. Hope y'all get around to checking that one out, too :)
Also, Little Guitars... but good Lord there are just so many.
Her excitement is REAL! Luv it!!
No lie, my 9th grade basic art class teacher's name was Miss Tush.
As a drummer, I must say, Alex Van Halen's drumming in this, is god level.
So the obvious follow-up is the Police: "Don't Stand So Close to Me."
ohhhh Lex.... you are truly an 80's spirit child!!! Your appreciation for Van Halen is fabulous, makes me smile how into the guitar you got.... no one quite like Eddie Van Halen!!
This was your best reaction yet! Lex was so perfectly tuned in!! I played guitar all through my teenage years abd Eddie Vanhalen was my God! You guys are so far above the other Dullard reaction videos out there!! Thank you so very much!
This came out in 1984... I was born in 1974... This was the greatest video MTV ever played!
Saw them in Philly at the start of their 07 tour and it was phenominal - Love the energy you guys generate...subbed
