    After dealing with the cheap ellipticals (and the problems that come with them) I wanted to get a pricier one that was not going to cause me as many problems. Thats when I ran into the Sole E35 elliptical. Your feet will not be bouncing around all over the place. Extremely quiet. The fan is a nice touch but it is not powerful enough to be actually effective. The idea is neat though, Ill give them that. Overall, if you want to get a gym-level workout, do not bother with cheap ellipticals. They will squeak, your feet will not feet, no cushions and all the rest of it. The Sole E35 has you covered!

    Assembly Bowflex Max Trainer - Assembly was easy and lasted even 40 minutes for me, using only the BowFlex tools provided with the machine. I did not want to use power tools to provide a realistic assembly time and a level of difficulty. The main part of the machine is assembled, you will put on the rear frame support (6 screws), the "arms" of the pedal 2 screws, the pedals 4 screws, insert the rubber pads for pedals, the upper arms 6 screws and computer input / middle handles 4 screws . Most of the assembly time to get the car out of the box and into the area where we were going to assemble it. The rest was very simple, there are always videos available to speed you up, as well as recommend an impact driver with a set of Allen heads to make it even faster.
    I think it deserves a better place in the ranking considering that its performances are excellent so far.

    Life Fitness elliptical is incredibly quiet and smooth, no wonder all the well-known gyms have been using it since forever! I dont know if it is really worth the $4300 price tag, but I got it used for $2500 and I am pretty satisfied with my purchase. One thing though: either get professional help to assemble it or a couple of buddies, my boyfriend installed it with his friend and even with two beefcakes it was a really difficult process! So dont even think you can do it by yourself if you are a teeny tiny lady like myself!

    I wanted to buy an elliptical as every gym was closed because of this virus. I also did not want to break the bank, as I dont have thousands of dollars burning a hole in my wallet. Sunny Health seemed like the best choice for me. I got the 15 lb flywheel, as my buddy told me 11 lb can be too unstable. I think 15 is pretty smooth enough, cant really comment on 18 & 11 lb options. In terms of build quality, it certainly isnt the best. It is making a little bit of noise, but since I live alone I dont mind it. I have been using it daily without any hiccups, so I dont understand where all the negative reviews are coming from. You guys are aware that you are getting a sub $500 elliptical trainer, right?

    Great top, but I think these are a little expensive! I highly recommend EXERPEUTIC 2000XL for life balance on a budget. It's working very well and is easy to move from room to room!

    Thanks to Life Fitness elliptical, I did not even realize Planet Fitness was closed because it gives me THE EXACT SAME experience! Come to think of it, it is probably the same machine used over there, but I cant be sure so I wont comment on that. But its really silent, with no squeaking noise whatsoever. All the programs work brilliantly. It is humongous, but I already knew that before ordering. If you live in a small place, dont consider Life Fitness. If you have the necessary space for this bad boy, definitely get it. It is as if the gyms never even closed down!

    Thank you as I was looking for the best elliptical for fit men. Men that already work out and are fit. Not trying to get fit, as that’s very different.

    So wait do I need a subscription to use the Bowflex M9 after buying it I dont understand?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The subscription is necessary if you want to use the JRNY app, which is a personalized coaching app that will create customized workouts just for you. I did not get that, I think it is pointless but it is a personal preference of course!

      I just bought a used M8 on marketplace..it's AMAZING. You don't NEED the app. But if you want it you must subscribe. I just signed on to a year free trial that I can cancel before having to pay. The app is cool for now, but i'm sure i'll cancel bc is kinda pricey. Otherwise, the machine is great.

    So I think I am going to with the Nautilus, but I cant decide on the model. Should I pick the E616 or the E618? Do you think the E618 is worth the extra $300 bucks?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, the E618 model adds some creature comforts like controlling the angle of the footsteps and a larger stride. In my opinion, these extra features are not worth the extra $300 however it is all subjective!

      I bought a Bowflex Max M8 used on marketplace for $400. The thing is AWESOME.
      People buy these things, then don't use them. Save yourself a TON of money.

    The Sunny Health elliptical is the only one that is cheap enough for me, I am not sure on which flywheel I should be picking. Is it better if it is heavier?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, on ellipticals heavier flywheel means better stability, quieter and smoother ride. A top-of-the-line elliptical would have an at 30 lb flywheel at least. I know there is a hefty price difference between the 11 lb and the 18 lb but the weight of the flywheel makes all the difference in an elliptical, so keep that in mind when you are making your final decision!

    Does the NordicTrack come already assembled or is there any assembly required? I am terrible when it comes to DIY so I was wondering if I need to ask a friend to help me?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! The NordicTrack SE9i requires the least amount of assembly as far as all the ellipticals on this list are concerned. I think you can assemble it all by yourself, even if you think you are terrible at assembling stuff!
