- I don't know about you but I didn't expect to like this Roll Pan as much as I did! I am pumped to see the LS S10 assembled, but also pumped to completely tear this thing down coming up here and bring it back to life!

If you want to keep the oem look on the hood you could get a car style ls intake manifold and alt bracket. I believe ls1 stuff sits lower to allow clearance in the cars. I’m sure it’s not as cost friendly as a cowl hood but it’s an option.
This is the answer right here. Check out a ls6 intake manifold and ict billet for alternator mount options.

Love my s10, is the same truck as yours but I want a turbo rb20 with s13 headlights and taillights on it, I have really cool ideal in my head that ill never get to experience it done😔 ive loved these trucks since I was five watching and helping my dad build his v8 s10 and late night racing it. Its really cool seeing you build this gem.

@@excitingstuff8209 well don't say "never gonna happen" you will be surprised what you can do on the side off the road. I'm working on my car now for 3 years. And I don't make a shit load off money so for some things I have to save for 6/9 months. And keep up with regular maintenance, and it needs to stay running because its my daily for work.
A down side of youtube or Instagram is that you see guys building crazy cars in 2/3 months. But for most "normal" people that is just not how it works. Don't compare yourself with someone else. You do you.

You do need that cowl hood for the ls engines and the headlights have a spring and long screws to adjust them to face perfectly straight but over all she is beautiful af 🔥🔥😍😍

Hey Robbie, United Pacific lights sells led sequential s10 tail lights. That are oem looking. They have the clear housing as well.
Hey Robbie, just a though but for the rad maybe see if the one off your old motor would work and then you can either get a new one or an upgraded one that will bolt right up to the factory mounts.

Man you nailed it with the license plate explanation because too many people run them in there window or mold them into weird places like the tailgate or window and I just have always hated that so your roll pan is perfect to have it in the stock location yet still have a clean pan lol but I'm definitely stoked to see your inspiration picture because that is so clean and the best way to make these s10s look I love the cowl hood and low and clean look👍👍

You could light it up perfect and cut the top of the bumper out just enough for the tailgate to clear it
If you don’t like the headliner color you could try to paint it or maybe flock it? Could be a cool DIY opportunity:)
I like the s10 especially when GM put colored interiors (blue/red) in it 👌spicy
Loving the S-10 build! You should maybe try painting the other grill to see if you like it. Also there are billet insert options you can retrofit into your grill. Keep up the good work!
Get a Chevy Chavelle hood it will give you that extra space you need and it will look cool. Summitt Racing sells those hoods.

Not sure if exactly what your look for. But I have bought a set from this company for 3 vehicles and couldn't be happier. Plus low price and easy to get from Walmart.
Get a Camaro or corvette intake manifold because it lower than the Silverado one. I believe you can find a lower ALT with the mount from ICT Billet or dirty dingo. Radiator you can probably get it from Summit for a ls swamp s10’s.
You could try the fabric paint for the head liner.
Do a cool design for the headliner! I did retro door panels for my car and I love them. It would look awesome on the s10!
do your own custom tail lights! would be dope content and great experience for you, did my headlights once for the first time and they came out great and was my favorite part of the build!

Get clear side markers for it. The amber ones look super gange.
Hard to tell from the vid but you could try trimming the hood inner material and see if it clears, or as others have mentioned swapping to car LS accessory drive and intake may suck it down enough to not need a cowl hood.

You can always just go to Canadian tire and get some vinyl and fabric paint in black.
You should try to contact a radiator shop to get one custom made for the s10
Fibre glass a a cowl onto that hood be a good video to learn from oh how to do that!

Gonna go with a turbo k20 in my 88 s15 (gmc) but I’m also missing a headliner and the trim that the rear view mirror goes in, I’d love to see links for parts as you find them? Bc I’m having a kinda hard time finding some of the interior stuff
He did mention LMC truck, I know they carry a lot of the s10 interior pieces
You can use the stock s10 radiator
That S10 you showed us is from Iceland and hasn’t been on the road since 2015
You could use fabric paint / dye on the headliner instead of buying a whole new one in black
Not an expert but from the LS swap knowledge I know you can use a 2nd gen (95/96 to like 04 05) 4.3 stock rad for up to 300 ish horsepower with a separate trans cooler for the 4L60E
Ditch the truck intake and grab a vette style and a low or mid mount alternator. You wouldn't have to do anything to your hood

dude get some cleco pins they are heaven sent for temp fitting panels or anything you screwed on today lol
You should look into Holley/morimotos new retrobright LED’s for the S10 . Keeps the classic look but updates the light profile.
I have them in my 92 s10 they are worth every penny

Talk to illumastetics they make custom led tailights for most vehicles
See if they make an alternator relocation kit
You should get into Fabing your own bumpers
pretty sure ntxglow does custom led light
you should paint it true blue metallic
Use riv nuts instead of buying stock hardware, might be cheaper and shouldn’t have issues with fitment
As well as you don’t need to have a wrench on the backside to hold a nut
i find it weird to see a car i know about in a youtube video😅( in iceland almost every car that is customized is localy known of) i also think that the s10 on the photo had the back license plate inside the tailgate at a angle
