This is one of those cases where the cover is better than the original. Usually that's a rare thing, but it is normal with Dreamcatcher. 😊
I know right, their Havanna cover was way better than the original.
People who hate don't deserve to stay. That's what Dreamcatcher themselves said - in an industry that prides itself in pretty, girly, cool but soft, chic, reality-denying concepts.
That said, DC covers are another world you barely scratch the surface. Leez and Ollounder redo the tracks for EVERY cover song, and Sua does many of the choreos.

It’s totally cool for you to have multiple favorite groups with one you prefer musically over the others. There are so many boy groups and a handful of girl groups I love, but Dreamcatcher always hits my happy spot when it comes to music. The music I like is either dramatic, creepy, or rocky, and Dreamcatcher does all three.
As a dedicated Blink myself as they were the ones that really got me deep into the kpop world and Rose was the one that drew me to the group, Dreamcatcher is by far my favourite girl group as I notice myself listening to their songs every day especially their b sides 😂😂

Since you like DreamCatcher you should check out Babymetal. They’re kinda like dreamcatchers seniors in the pop-rock sound. If I remember correctly they took inspiration from them and a lot of the DreamCatcher members are fans of babymetal

I did a trick with videos where I was able to sync this video with an audio of the original. They brought in a more distorted guitar and heavier drums. The pace of the song is still the same, if anything I'd say that DC's cover is slightly faster but it doesn't desync so maybe it's just an audio illusion.

DC has nearly 50 songs published since their debut in 2017, the other group doesn't even have 15 published songs since their debut in 2016... Different management, different work schedule, I really loved that other group when they came out, but their lack of production has turned me off... their management company decided to coast on a few success and focused on other things, it seems....

He's a musical icon in Korea, an old rocker, BTS worked with hm to re-issue one of his classic song (Come Back Home).
